Both John and Wendy were exceptionally attentive and caring hosts with their warm, welcoming, and friendly nature. The room was well furnished, clean, and cosy with the bathroom facilities, providing a lovely spacious low profile shower. The breakfast was delicious and always served hot and freshly prepared, fresh fruit, and yoghurt were also on offer, so plenty to set you up for the day. Overall, the best bed & breakfast I have stayed in, and I would thoroughly recommend to friends, family, and anyone looking to get away. John and Wendy provide exceptional service, and the quality of the overall stay can not be faulted in any way. They should be very proud of what they offer and provide, and I will most definitely be returning.
There is nothing negative to note or fault in any way, shape, or form.

We were made to feel so welcome by John and Wendy. Location is fab, away from the traffic and crowds but just 5 mins drive from Llandudno centre and ideal if travelling around by car. The room was superb, very clean, cosy, and well equipped. Nice balcony to sit out on weather permitting. Comfy bed and a lovely bathroom. Superb cooked breakfast, and they recommended 2 fab places to eat out in the evening, both of which were fab. There's even a beautiful mountain walk, literally 10-15 minutes walk from the b&b with breathtaking views over Llandudno, Conwy, Great Orme, Snowdonia etc.. We went late evening and watched the sun setting with just us and the local wildlife for company. We were even greeted by the local kashmir mountain goats who just ambled by and weren't bothered by our presence. We will be back to this beautiful part of Wales, and I can't speak highly enough of this b&b and of Wendy and John. Thank you.
Nothing not to like. Couldn't fault anything

Wendy and John were exceptional hosts and were so helpful. They put our left over takeaway in their fridge and then allowed us to use their microwave to reheat the next evening, providing crockery and cutlery, and doing the washing up 😁 The suite is to a high standard and very comfortable. Lovely spacious walk in shower. Our room was a suite so had a fantastic living room. Very quiet location off the beaten track and a gorgeous sea view. We drove to the bottom of the Nant-Y-Gamar road, parked there all day for free, then joined the city sightseeing hop on, hop off bus tour (which we had prebooked online) at the Farm bus stop to visit the other parts of Llandudno and Conwy. Worked really well as the rest of Llandudno was really busy with limited parking.
Spiral staircase in our suite, but we are big people and that is just us. Living room needs a coffee table.

We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and immediately offered a coffee or tea after a long drive. The approach to Bryn Goleu is up a steep and narrow hill but we had no trouble with access. There is plenty of parking, with a short walk down to the house. Needless to say the views are exceptional. Having chosen to stay in the separate suite for 3 nights, we were delighted to find we had our own entrance leading into a large spacious lounge and, on the first floor an equally spacious bedroom with large modern en suite bathroom. Everywhere was tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. There were large fluffy towels in the bathroom and a lovely comfy bed with good quality bed linen. The breakfasts were outstanding and are highly recommended. On offer are fresh fruits, cereals and a full English breakfast or scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. The endless coffee was also excellent. John and Wendy are wonderful hosts and couldn’t do enough to make our stay memorable, even offering to drive us to dinner in Llandudno. We are well seasoned travellers and can’t recommend this property highly enough. One of the best b&b’s we’ve found.

Wendy and John are amazing hosts. They took great care of us during our stay. Breakfast was delicious. We had been advised what places are worth visiting and where to eat. The location is perfect for people who want to rest and relax. It's quiet and there are beautiful views to see nearby. The accommodation is lovely, very clean and spacious. We had really good time at Bryn Goleu. Thank you, Wendy and John! Eliza and Daniel
There was nothing we dislike.

Tranquil setting with only a small number of guest bedrooms. Lovely clean air with distant views of the sea. Managed to park very close to the house. Excellent Wi-Fi. John and Wendy were first class hosts, warm, friendly and efficient. Choice of breakfast, excellently cooked, and impeccably served in our own, spacious and comfortable downstairs sitting room. Upstairs en-suite bedroom is well furnished with good sea views. Shower room is spacious and ultra-modern, with a powerful, walk-in, two-level shower.
Spiral staircase took a while to get used to. No water supply in the downstairs lounge. No mobile coverage (but good Wi-Fi). Parking close to the accommodation is limited to one space.

We had wonderful time to stay here. Wendy and John are very friendly and helpful to provide warm welcome and valuable tips to visit Conwy and Llandudno, places to see and to eat. The breakfast is great. From the house is a path to walk and in 15 minutes you can have an astonishing view of Conwy castle and Llandudno pier. Parking is convenient and the night is quiet to rest well. To Conwy or Llandudno is just within minutes of driving. Highly recommended.

Our room was well decorated, modern and comfortable. We had a little balcony with a view to the garden, peaceful and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the room was warm and cosy, perfect base to go back to especially when the weather isn’t that great. The property was clean, and our room was spot on. The attention to details in our room and around the property was impressive, from a lovely decorated dining area to our bathroom where everything seemed to have its purpose and “made sense”. The bathroom was modern and the shower was hot and forceful, the temperature in the bathroom was very comfortable too (I’m very sensitive to cold). We loved the location, 20 minutes walking distance to the town centre, we walked back from town and it was a really lovely uphill night walk, recommended! It is quiet and beautiful area. The hosts were very lovely and warm people who from the first moment of our stay did everything to make us feel welcomed. They are very sociable, we had some nice conversations, found out about the area, the history of the house and their story too. They also recommended us a few places with good food and to visit and they were great choices. It’s lovely to see how much work, effort and love they put into this property. All in all the stay added up to our overall great impression of Llandudno and the area, we would highly recommend this property and will one day go back there when we are visiting the town!
There was nothing.

November 2023
The living experience is comparable to a 5 star hotel! We came in November, probably at a bad time of year when many of the programmes were closed, but the living experience here still made us feel very happy with the trip. The owner of the house: “John and Wendy "was very welcoming, gave us a superb English breakfast and was kind enough to provide us with a transfer service, and gave us detailed information about the attractions and excursions here, even down to which restaurant was better. The room was very clean and cosy, and the terrace had a great view of the wide lawn and forest, and even the sea, because of its mid-level location. This is the kind of natural and localised room we were looking for!
Wonderful! No more changing

Fantastic views across the bay , great breakfast and very friendly / helpful hosts. John's guidance and useful tips for places to visit and eat were very handy for our 5 night stay. Quiet location and the views from the top of the hill across the whole of the surrounding area just a short walk up from the property were amazing. Very short drive to Llandudno and convenient for the rest of North Wales main attractions. eg Snowdonia, Anglesey, Conway. Llandudno etc
A short drive to nearest restaurants / pubs etc. Could possibly walk but the hill coming back would need fitter people than us !
