The location and the view from the window, the facilities, and the comfortable bed.

The only thing that spoilt it was the cold shower the next morning. I tried always and everything to get the water hot, but without success. It was a very quick shower. Apart from that, all was great 👍

This was the second time we've stayed at The Four Oaks Hotel. We love the Victorian style of the building, the lift, the staff and the breakfasts. We had a lovely big room with magnificent Sea views. Our stay was delightful.

It's necessary to park the car behind the Hotel and walk around to the front. Other Hotels along the front have pedestrian access from the car parking into the hotel which s far better in horizontal rain! Our room was blazing HOT! the radiator was set on High 6, we turned it off and the temperature was pleasant. Same problem with the corridors and dining room - everywhere incredibly HOT! I appreciate that many of their clients are elderly but those temperatures were basically unpleasant. Also, the milk for the teamaking facilities were those little tubes of watery milk where you need at least 3 to make a decent tea or coffee with milk. So more were needed.

The hotel is in a very good location on the sea front and free parking at rear of hotel.I believe the outside of a hotel is an indication of to expect the inside will be like.This hotel stood out a mile,the gardens at this hotel were exceptional.,an absolute credit to the gardener.. Inside hotel very clean and very friendly and helpful staff..We had a room overlooking the sea, good size room,clean and presentable and very well equipped for a enjoyable stay.price wise very competitive, very good value for money.

Absolutely nothing to dislike. Highly recommend hotel. Will certainly be my first choice when we return.

Just at breakfast time we sat huddled together with other people who stayed there. We're there was plenty of empty tables in the room.

For what you pay it deserves an exceptional rating for cleanliness, location and comfortability. Obviously if you stay here expecting a 5star stay then you won't get that and you shouldn't for the price you pay. It's a little dated and the shower pressure is non existent. Don't let that put you off though as the location is amazing with the sea right in front of you. An amazing find for a great price.

Shower pressure was very poor, a trickle at best.

The view was amazing and the room had comfy chairs with a little table so we could look at the sea and street, the staff really good, recommended a good fish and chips, clean room, very comfy bed, i have back pain and the mattress was very comfortable.

Nothing really, everything was good, we didn't use the restaurant or the bar downstairs so i cant really comment on that,

Good location. Very helpful lovely staff. Comfortable clean room - had a double for single use with sea view where sea was right in front of hotel across small road and promenade. Could see all of the bay.

Room was extremely warm couldn't seem to adjust this, it was warm even with window open bit much for me but probably ok for others. Meals- if you wanted food in the hotel you had to book a day in advance for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was at one specific time only, but there was lots of places to eat outside of hotel.
