Full of Character and spacious. Bedrooms very spacious and beds comfortable. Lovely range of complimentary toiletries in the room. Food served was very good from the breakfast to the evening meal.

The only criticism would be the ridiculous dressing gowns and slippers that are supplied for you to use to go down to the leisure facilities. Far too small and embarrassing to wear. My husband couldn’t fasten his at all and far too tight as were the slippers 🤣 great idea but they need to accommodated for guests who aren’t a size 10 with small feet

I was disappointed about my parents not receiving a little something as they were celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary . I phoned and asked if they could maybe get a bottle of wine or a small cake with their afternoon tea. The receptionist said we don't do anything like that here, even thou it is a Grand Hotel. A pity 😕

Breakfast was amazing, staff very friendly helpful and the hotel was beautifully decorated downstairs. The bedrooms are a lovely size but could do with an upgrade

The pool downstairs was dirty and I didn't relish walking around the hotel in my swimming things let alone through a gym.. The pool I found a little awkward to access as the floor slopes, I felt at times I would slip.. the same with the Jacuzzi very difficult to get in and out of..

The staff were friendly and very helpful. Location was great and close to shops and town.

The facilities in the spa area were a little dated. The jets to the jacuzzi were not powerful enough for my liking. The walkway around the pool was a little small and very slippy , so some improvement could be made there. The bath robes provided were also very small and no option of a larger size.

Staff are amazing, great location , clean, and welcoming atmosphere, 4 star but not over the top so you can relax but also get a good standard of service and facilities

Nothing negative to say, we have only stayed for short breaks so standard rooms have been fine

Heating on way to high , can't sleep its so hot , literally sweating constantly , turned radiator off in room still way to hot had to sleep with window open, good for pensioners but too hot for us younger folks

Friendly staff. Someone always on the desk. Lift. Storage of baggage before checkin. Bar menu on the Terrace not necessary to eat in restaurant. Quite close to main Street of shops. Promenade opposite. Spa facilities but didn't use this time - robes provided & slippers. Staff very helpful with any problems. Winter season, parking on the Seafront fine, even if you have to pay. Reasonable for the day but BeWare of QR Codes - re: Scam.

Last two night, felt it a bit cooler in my bedroom but i didn't complain. Also on the terrace, i did feel a draught by my table, Wednesday night. I did tell the waitress the next night, she said, she had put a heater in, which there was. The main breakfast items didn't seem to hold heat very well Lampshade lights not as easy to read with by the bed. No usb's by the bed. Lighting in the Terrace a bit dark to read the menu. Lovely and light in the daytime. Carpark full by checking out time.

Loved the period features of the hotel. The location was ideal for the theatre Venue Cymru, which was a short walk away. The room was very clean and there was plenty of tea, coffee and drinking chocolate in the rooms. We had a sea view which was great. The buffet breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and we sat in the conservatory area, which was very pleasant. The staff were attentive and nice. As were the reception staff. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere.

The lifts are quite small and the rooms were a little too warm for us. So we left the windows open. There`s only 25 spaces in the car park around the back. It didn`t apply to us but there are not enough disabled spaces available. Maybe more of the bays should be given over to the disabled customers.

This hotel is exceptional in all aspects! Breakfast is amazing & staff are very attentive, checking if everything was all right & to see if coffee or tea needed filling up! The poached eggs were exceptional - done exactly right with runny yokes & very hot buttered toast! While staying we also ate evening meal there - this did not disappoint - right down to altering part of the main due to allergies. The Restaurant supervisor was exceptional in all way's, while we were there a new member of staff was starting & she was exceptionally patient & professional with the training encouraging her/him in how to do things. etc.
