Breakfast - list of choice Location Room Cleanliness Staff very attentive and pleasant

The blonde girl in the snack bar who was quite arrogant. Ordered food and ice cream. Waited two hours after pizza for the ice-cream. We were sat chatting and 8 yr old boy went to ask and she still ignored request 40 mins later I approached the bar to be told in an arrogant voice “I know I know I’ve been busy!” The bar wasn’t even that busy! After being approached twice she still ignored our request and continued to serve new customers as and when they approached the bar! I went to reception to complain and they sorted it straight away. To be fair all the other staff were very attentive and pleasant. Loved the pool just a pity the change rooms are not useable so quite embarrassing walking through a hotel soaking wet

Love staying here, we always choose this hotel. Always clean. The lady on reception wasn’t too kind to the young lad trying his best, she was quite abrupt with him which I thought was unprofessional in front of customers. Breakfast was very busy (9am) and had to keep asking for more of things but happily obliged.

Lovely place for a small getaway. Room was perfect for myself and two kids. Pool was great and location too. Nice to walk out onto the prom. Highly recommend the breakfast. Everything available from cereals, fruits, yoghurt, full breakfast, croissants....yum yum...Throughly enjoyed our stay there. Will be back.

Excellent location the sea view rooms give a spectacular view of the coastline , breakfast is very good and staff are very friendly which adds a little extra to the experience

Some areas are a little tired but sure the maintenance on a large hotel like this means you cannot do everything at once

located on the promenade and close to the bustling part of Llandudno. Relaxed atmosphere and nice property. Room was clean and the bathroom was spick and span. No complaints. plenty of parking in front, on the promenade.

Rooms on the top floor will likely be warm/hot in summer.

Location, being refurbished which is always a good sign. Staff were fab, especially the restaurant supervisor

We didn’t get a refurbished room - but my parents did and it was really well done. Swimming pool small but adequate - changing facilities not great

The breakfast was very good. Everyone of the staff was very helpful and friendly….. (and funny). We also had two small dogs with us and it was the first time in a hotel for them I believe they enjoyed it as much as we did.

The hotel was very clean,the food was good and the staff were excellent. We would have liked to stay longer but were unable to ….that was the only thing we didn’t like.

Great location - on the seafront but a very short walk into town and to the station from where we caught trains to Betws-y-Coed and other beautiful places in Eryri (Snowdonia National Park). That train journey itself offers spectacular views. Great hotel staff always on hand and super nice and helpful. We had a superior twin room with seaview, it was on the corner of the building so we had two big windows - one facing directly out to the beach and the sea and the other looking out to the pier and Great Orme - both very good views. Room was spacious, beds were very comfy and very clean. The buffet breakfast was fabulous with lots of choice, including full English, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, toast, fruit juices, bottomless teas and coffees - a great start to the day!The only reason I dropped a couple of points was the decor which was slightly dated (room, hallways, lifts and entrance) but not depressingly so. Overall, I would highly recommend the Marine Hotel.

Decor could do with a bit of a lift.

We stayed on a half board basis and found all the meals to be very acceptable and would especially recommend the breakfasts especially the sausages. The friendliness of all the staff was excellent with a special recommendation for the restaurant manager and the dark haired lady that runs the bar most nights, they are a credit to you.

We found our room to be very comfortable, with excellent views. The only criticism that we had was that the shower far too small to have a comfortable shower in but we did have a bath as a fallback. But it didn't spoil our 5 days spent at your hotel.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and would like to give a special thank you to staff who worked in the bar area in the evening. So lovely, friendly and helpful also the staff who were greeting you at breakfast again so friendly. Really lovely room with tea and coffee making facilities. Bed's were very comfortable. It was worth what we paid for two nights. In a really good location right on the sea front. Would stay here again.

Parking is an issue. It's on a first come, first served basis and is charged at £10 a day. I was unable to get a space when I arrived but did manage to park further up on the promenade for £7.50 a day after driving around a little. The hitel is very creaky but given that it's quite old it's to be expected.
