Nice hotel. Great location and brilliant breakfast. Dog friendly which is necessary for me.

I thought the reception staff were a bit patronising. Repeatedly saying “it was on the booking” when I Asked a general question for example About eg. Why did I need photo ID? And is it £15 for the dog? It was just a question asked in passing. But got a response in a way that I found both patronising and as though I was being looked down on. Also they were both very ignorant when passing. The parking is there. But so tight and dangerous

The location was perfect, located right near the Pier and town center. We had a Seaview that was lovely to sit and enjoy in the morning and on an evening.This was a Pet friendly hotel that charge £15 for your pet per stay which I was more than happy to pay for such a nice hotel. Small free car Park around the back of the hotel or there is paid parking all along the prom both sides it's pot luck who gets the car Park spaces but there's nothing the hotel can do about that, they only have room at the back for so many cars at a time.Early morning calls on request from a 24hr staffed reception. Excellent buffet style breakfast served until 9.30am and a great evening meal menu 5.50-7.30pm. If you have a dog you eat in the function room which is overlooking the sea and you have tv in there too ,you do have to go down stairs to the dining room to collect your breakfast but the lovely, polite, friendly staff are always willing to help if you need it.Room service is available for breakfast, sandwiches /chips and soup but they're is a £10 service charge. If you would like an alcoholic drink they have a bar serving until 11pm. .You get free WiFi, a password is given to you on arrival. Your room is serviced on request, you have a "please service my room" or a "do not disturb" sign if you don't need anything. All rooms have a kettle and selection of drinks including free bottled water. Nice big fluffy towels and a selection of toiletries.Your tv has apps like YouTube etc but Netflix and others need logging into. Everybody is different when it comes to comfort but I found the mattress and pillows acceptable and I enjoyed the good 3 nights sleep on them. Where the hotel is , is nice and quiet , there's very low car or pedestrian noise at night.The thick curtains make sure the room stays nice and dark,which is great if your like me and need a very dark room to sleep better. I was really happy with my stay and I'll definitely be back.

There isn't anything to complain about really, the only constructive criticism I'd give is to decorate the tired looking landings and to get better keyrings (that huge door knob is a bit OTT haha)

Breakfast was brilliant. Cannot fault it. Service and standard and choice of foods.. IMPECCABLE

That we had to walk around the town for an evening meal as no evening meals were being served. This was a massive inconvenience as I had just finished a fourteen hour shift and was very hungry. We were also unable to bring food back to our rooms so we had to eat our chippy tea out in the blistering cold.

We picked the hotel because we had stayed in the hotel before and thought it was great value for what they charge. It was also in a great location on the seafront close to the pier. All the staff are very friendly and helpful which is always nice. One thing I always check for is off road parking and this hotel had its own private parking spaces to the rear of the property. I had looked at other hotels to stay but they had no parking facilities. The room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed, which is always much appreciated.

They had lifts to all floors which was good.Last time we stayed our room was near the lift so transporting all your cases and belongings was easy. This time though we were on the first floor and from the lift you had to go down a set of stairs through a door and back up another set of stairs to get to the room. If you have mobility problems it may be an issue. I must say though one of the staff helped me with the cases when we arrived, which was a great help.

Booked this hotel cause it said it was disabled-friendly and had a lift and ramp up to the front door. The room was big and clean. Just the odd bit of dust. Towels were changed every day and the tea/coffee tray was refilled. The bed was very comfortable.. breakfast was cooked well and plenty of everything. Staff friendly. Was a carpark but with a disabled badge you can park out the front of the hotel. The location was perfect. 5 min from shops, sea over the road and pier just 10 min walk. Train station 10 min walk..

As I'm disabled I was looking for a ramp, and lift in the hotel and thought I'd found it but when I got out of the lift I had to go down 8 steps and then up 8 steps to get to my room. I use a wheelchair most of the time but couldn't get it to my room so had to use my crutches but still struggled and ended up sitting on my bum to get up and down. I found a hair in my beans on my second breakfast morning and when I told the staff he tried to brush it off as something else but as an old hairdresser I know what hair is.

Loved the location, ALL the staff were excellent; friendly, helpful and were always smiling. The rooms were clean and warm. Breakfast was plentiful and was hot, fresh food. It was also nice to have a free car park round the back of the hotel.

The only things that I didn't like were probably a 'me' thing. The lighting and electric points were modern sensor lights and plugs that shone a blue light all night when something was plugged in - my husband needs a CPAP machine overnight, so it obviously needed to be plugged in all night. I like total darkness when I'm going to bed so the first night it kept me awake but the second night - I put a pair of clean pants on my head and pulled them over my eyes and this worked a treat!! :) I'll take an eye mask with me next time!!! Also, the fan in the bathroom was quite noisy but it didn't spoil anything.

The staff were extremely kind and went above and beyond to make our stay special breakfast was excellent so much choice. lovely to have a sea view from the bar where we had breakfast every morning and our last drink at night. Location was great short walk to everything we wanted to see and do. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

The lift was a little confusing first day as it didn’t stop where our room was almost did but had to go up a small stairs but soon sorted that out. If you have trouble with stairs make sure when booking your room on a floor where the lift stops.

Excellent location, friendly staff, simple and tidy rooms. Clean toilets with daily room service and ample toiletries. The breakfast is again simple with all the important bits to start your day. Some suggestions to improve, the WiFi is free, but the reception was extremely poor in our room. With the cellular network also poor, it did not help. But, it could just be our room. It was a bit noisy in the morning, I could hear someone using the hair dryer! It is an old building that has been very well maintained, and these complaints may sound silly! Overall, we had a great time here, and we would come again! Parking in the back is a huge peace of mind!

The breakfast was really excellent, buffet, help yourself, juices/ tea or coffee/cereal/ toast and of course a full cooked breakfast. Plenty of places to sit, breakfast times are split up into half hour sessions. Not to have to many people at once eating in the dining room. There’s a small lift, holds about six people to all floors, there are three floors up to your rooms and one floor down to the dining room and car parking area, our room was 305 third floor facing the Carpark, a very nice room, comfortable bed / plenty of space for your clothes to hang up, tidy shower, plenty of hot water, the shower cubicle was a bit small, but it suited the wife and I. There was two chairs and a small table, tidy size television, Wi-Fi in all rooms. What more could you ask for I ask myself, the wife was pleased with the room, that’s the main thing.

The heating was on for a couple of hours in the morning, went off about 9am and back on again about 8pm for a couple of hours that’s it. I know the energy bills have gone, so I do understand they got to make cutbacks. After all the prices are very reasonable for staying at the establishment.

The breakfast was buffet style, freshly cooked and tasty. Callum was so helpful, caring and considerate during breakfast service. We were able to sit in a separate room to eat with our dog, we felt we had the best room with the table in the window over looking the sea, very chilled start to the day. The shower in the room was great, powerful and hot. Plenty of drink making facilities. When I asked if I could buy a hot chocolate at the bar I was given hot chocolate sachets for our room, bonus! The bed was firm, yet comfortable and pillows just right. The room was warm and I could control the temperature on the radiator. The cleanliness was spotless. All in all a very comfortable room with a good nights sleep.

Car parking can be hit or miss, we had to park on the road outside one night. Think this could be difficult in the summer. Although in fairness the staff do their best to accommodate where possible. The room was quite small, but everything else made up for that.
