The house was well situated for our plans. The communication was excellent before our visit. On arriving, Bryan made us feel at home. He showed us to our room and explained how the shower in our room worked. And, a good job, too. There were also written instructions that were helpful. Bryan gave us a form of what we could have for breakfast. We ticked the items that we wanted and the time we required. There was a massive range of breakfast items. The cooked breakfast was expertly cooked and presented. The front door had a code that was easy to use. We were able to come and go as we pleased. I would recommend the B&B.

Fabulous traditional B&B located South if Bangor in the village of Tregarth. Location offers easy driving access to Conwy, Snowdonia, Anglesey, Caernarfon, Penrhyn Cadtle, and the beautiful Bodnant Garden. Accommodation was very comfortable, and our room had access to an enormous private bathroom. Our host, Bryan, is friendly and very helpful, pointing us to sightseeing and dining opportunities that had not been on our radar. Breakfast is tremendous, with traditional fare and healthy options. Value is unrivalled! We will definitely book again next time we visit North Wales!

Rooms were spacious. Sufficient parking in front for the number of rooms. Easy to reach nearby local places by car. Food immediately nearby isnt the best but lots of choice just 5 mins by car. The kettle and biscuits was a nice touch. Bed was comfy and room was clean. Nice dressing table and space to keep bags etc. Breakfast was sufficient and veggie sausage was nice. Water in room was a nice touch. Lounge area suitable for sitting in. Shared fridge downstairs was good too.
TV was a bit small. Walls were a bit thin but it is a historic place. Wifi cut off on the second night to the whole of the floor where all the rooms were. This wasnt great because a lot of people hiking next day or travelling depending on fully charged phones and the owner was unreachable but apologetic. He said the cooker kept tripping it but it shouldn't really happen.

Friendly host Brian was a mine of information. As there were no places to eat within walking distance, on Monday in February we were able to buy microwavable meals to warm and eat in the dining room.. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice. Brian even let us have a lie in after a long journey for me, an elderly, arthritic driver. Beautiful scenery. It's the former home of the pastor of the large chapel next to it. There's a self contained single story accommodation for a couple which is for self catering opposite the house, with the option to have breakfast. Although we stayed because we were attending a family funeral, Brian made our stay as pleasant as possible. My husband and I would recommend Pant Teg B&B

From genial 'host' Bryan's warm welcome & subsequent attentiveness throughout my stay (2 nights) to the general ambience of the B&B, I could not fault anything whatsoever. My room '9' or 'No 6' As Bryan & I joked, as I had a trip planned for Portmerion (filming location for the iconic cult TV series 'The Prisoner' wherein it's protagonist is forever known as a number not a name) was adequately equipped & the bed was very comfy indeed. The major plus however was the private bathroom; fantastic 'whirlpool' bath & high-powered shower in a tastefully decorated room. The cooked breakfast was superb & there was also plenty of cereal, fruit or yogurt options avail. The B&B is situated in a stunning location, with plenty of walks & lush countryside to admire (I was very fortunate as both days the sun shone). However the local amenities aren't on the doorstep (around 25-30 min walk), but for those able bodied via the well signposted walkways through the countryside it is well worth stretching those legs. The local pub is a stones throw away & is highly recommended also for the 'spit 'n' sawdust' vibe, but equally friendly atmosphere of its patrons. It serves only great beers & pizza with live music on some days, so if that's your bag then it's a good shout!
Nothing whatsoever, but certainly longer than 2 days would of been fantastic! Until next time perhaps

Cozy room, with good ensuite. Massive bed (okay comfort). Good breakfast included and there is a meal room with a guest fridge and microwave. Plenty of parking space. The host helped to explain the snowdon routes and the area. He also let us know there is a pub down the road with a food truck opposite that does speciality burgers. We used it for our first night.
On the second night there was a strange smell coming into the room of cooking (frying/baking).

Host very friendly & welcoming, talked to them a few times about miscellaneous stuff when we saw him. We stayed in the self-contained Ty Bach Cottage at the rear which is self-catering, so note that if you're there. Host seemed happy for us to basically cook up a feast in there, pots, pans & cutlery are included too, so using the local supermarkets in Bangor we did just that a few times. The included WiFi in that cottage was very good too, and we were able to reliably stream content from my media server from all the way in Yorkshire There was basically no downside to our stay, the cleanliness was top notch, the host was a pleasure all around, and i was genuinely surprised it was such a great little side cottage for the price for a long weekend, definitely was bigger and more usable as a living space than expected, and my partner and I often stayed in watching stuff as well as exploring locally.

So homely! We didn’t do much exploring outside as we wanted to relax after camping for a while so it was perfect here. The room was spotless and so cosy we felt right at home, the shower was a fancy sauna, the beds are super comfy with lovely duvets and a tv in the room. Bryan was a fantastic host! We had such a relaxing time here, and the breakfast was beautiful lots of choices and really good quality food. Cannot recommend enough, Thank you!

This was one of the nicest and friendliest B & B's that we have stayed in. Our host, Bryan, was very friendly and happy to chat about the area and advise on what was good to see/do. There was also plenty of literature in the place, including maps that you could refer to. The house itself is old and very pretty with ample parking and is on a road that is not busy at all, so very quiet. Our room was lovely and clean and the bathroom had a built in shower that was also had jets and steam room which was a nice surprise. Breakfast was pretty much everything you could wish for with cereals, toast, fruit and a very tasty full english. Location wise it is central for Caenarfon, Bangor, Anglesey and Conwy and many of the other great attractions around the area, but if you just want a lovely beach with a little cafe and no seaside trappings, then try LLanfairfechan, just off the A55 towards Conwy. So much to explore in the area, we will definitely be back.
