Hotel is in a great location, has private parking at the rear, a fair walk to the main area of restaurants, pubs and shops but it makes for a very pleasant stroll along the wide promenade with great views. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and were able to offer great advice about the North Wales area, the breakfasts were excellent and we had plenty of choice - great fruit salad option! Our room was clean and comfortable, plenty of space, nice bathroom. LLandudno is a great place to visit, and appears to be very clean and well maintained, and a good base to visit other places.

Long-ish walk to the main town hub, but a very pleasant one, no problems!

We had the most amazing stay at The Grafton and its all down to owners Paul and Laurie who looked after us like were family from the moment we arrived helping us with our bags and showing us around our room. Personal touches makes this place so special and our 11 year old daughter says why isnt called 5 star!!!! We stopped in a lovely interconnecting family room which was perfect for our stay giving us more space and gave our daughter her own area . Loved the skylight in our room and the seating area.Ensuite shower room spotless with lots of towels and toiletries . Our room was absolutely spotless,roomy and housekeeping was done everyday which included leaving us with lovely biscuits everyday and even a drink for our daughter.Perfect! Breakfast was served in the sea view dining area which consisted of a choice of cereals, yoghurts, croissants,toast and jams as well as tea coffee and fruit juices.A choice of hot breakfast was provided everyday which was on a pre-order basis with 2 sitting times.Poached eggs were amazing .Nothing was too much trouble Loved that Paul and Laurie helped us make the most of our holiday by sharing with us all their knowledge of local places Thank you!! We have never stayed in a Hotel that offers so much as this Hotel ,the help from Paul /Laurie was 1st class right from the check in to last day ,The food was fantastic and there was a great choice to choose from ,The room was very comfy and very clean with Tea n Coffee /Biscuits also in the room , also 2 lovely comfy chairs by the window for sea view room we had ,lots of local info in the room and even a shoe horn to help put your shoes on ,,,,One word .......BRILLIANT ,,,,,Thank you for looking after us without fault .......K and D room 15 from 11 08 25/14 08 25

We cant think of any thing we disliked ,as everything was to our satisfaction

We had such a brilliant weekend at The Grafton, Llandudno! Laurie and Paul were so welcoming and straight away called us by our names, which was a lovely touch. They carried our bags up, showed us around the room (even where the hair dryer was!), and just made everything really easy. They also gave us loads of great tips on where to eat at the top end of the seafront. In the room there was an info pack with all sorts of history about Llandudno. We really enjoyed reading it, especially since we’re big history fans and people who know me, know how I love turning historical facts into fun little stories. Honestly, such a warm and friendly place to stay, we’d happily come back!

Paul and Laurie are a fabulous couple they could not do enough for guests during our stay . Their attention to detail makes The Grafton probably the best b and b we have stayed at . Everything is spot on .Comfortable beds , lovely linen and towels , everything immaculately clean . Nice information packs , good se.lection of tea , coffee and toiletries in the rooms , even a fan. They have forgotten nothing . Breakfast is Superb . A really good selection of fresh produce, pastries , cereals, juice etc and really nicely cooked The one slight draw back is the distance to town if you have a disability as I do , but if you are fit and don't mind a 10 minute walk then it's not a problem . If The Grafton was nearer town then the price would be double . Really , REALLY good value for money. Thank you both for your company and making us really welcome . Modern with homely touches , selective lighting, comfy bed , lovely choice of colour in decorative items in room , two chairs for seating with small table , plenty off drink condiments , excellent shower with nice water pressure ,tv with many channels , informative blue guest book with everything you could possibly want to know in room with a few pages off Llandudno history. Fantastic hot cooked breakfast with plenty off other cold options as well . Paul and Laurie are fantastic hosts and very friendly and take the time to chat and get to know you a bit …. Definitely will be coming back .

Couldn’t fault it

Laurie and Paul are the perfect wonderful hosts and there is nothing more you can wish for. They both work hard for their guests, and the service is at maximum on everything: cleanliness, comfort, lovely decor, and a perfect view. They have a charming breakfast area and offer tasty hot or cold meals. We appreciated very much the effort they have put into our comfort. If I were to choose one word only, I would say: impeccable! Beautiful, immaculate guest house overlooking the beach and promenade. Met upon arrival by the Paul the owner who told us lots about Llandudno. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay.. I love the fact that there was a dressing table, plenty of storage, and the en-suite was perfect. Breakfast was deliciously prepared by Laurie (Paul’s wife) and nothing was too much trouble. Such amazing hosts.. we had a really special and enjoyable time.

Great location, overlooking the sea, we was met by the hosts Paul and Laurie who was very welcoming and Laurie carried our bags up 2 flights of stairs to our room which we didn't expect, she said it was her job bless her. The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable, looking out to sea from our window was a lovely plus. The breakfast was lovely and there was 2 sittings so you wasn't on top of each other, the knowledge of where to visit and how to walk there was excellent and very welcoming to have. We didn't use the car all the time we were there, which was lovely. A walk up to great orme was great and the views were stunning, a lovely walk back down was great as well. The parade was lovely to walk down to the pier and the town was glorious, it didn't rain once at all, which was a good plus. When it's all lit up at night is lovely. Would come here again. Perfect location for those who love some peace away from the crowds and who don't mind a 15-20 min walk to the town/pier along the promenade (can get on the bus as well). We went to Little Orme for sunset, and challenged to walk back to the hotel, it was a great joyful walk. Free parking along the road is a big bonus, but we didn't use car for 2 full days after we parked it up on arrival. The sea is just over the road, it was a pleasure to chill out on the pebbles and to have a swim, the water was beautiful, clean and clear. Our room had a land view, but still a nice open view with the mountains in a distance. 2 spaceous bedrooms in a family room are great option, everything was clean and tidy. Our cooked breakfast was delicious, a pot of coffee instead of just 1 cup was a fantastic surprise for me (coffee addict). Lovely hosts, Laurie and Paul, helped us with a birthday surprise for our son, and made another surprise for him at breakfast time, much appreciated, these little moments and friendly people are something that touch and make the place really special.
