We stayed at Pentre ISAF for just one night, but it was a truly memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, Chrissy made us feel incredibly welcome with her warm hospitality and thoughtful touches. The location is wonderfully peaceful—tucked away from city life, it’s the perfect retreat for anyone looking to unwind. The highlight for us was the garden: beautifully maintained, full of color and life, with quiet corners to sit and take it all in. The breakfast the next morning was exceptional—homemade, fresh, and absolutely delicious, with plenty of choice and attention to detail that really stood out. Even though our stay was brief, it was relaxing, comfortable, and restorative. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, tranquil escape.

Chrissy and Mike are super friendly hosts and clearly love their little bit of paradise in this peaceful part of Wales. Always had time for a chat but equally left us to enjoy our time at their beautiful B&B. Chrissy made us an exceptional breakfast; yogurt with granola and fresh fruit from the garden to start then the full works including home made hash brown and fried egg from their hens, who we visited at the top of their stunning multi-tiered garden. Mike loves his garden and is happy to give you a tour if you ask. Sadly, after a recent heatwave, we didn't get to enjoy the garden ourselves but we were able to appreciate it from the huge window in our sitting room. Such a bonus having a full sized sitting room aswell as a big bedroom with ensure shower room! Would recommend this B&B to anyone wishing to visit this part of Wales who wants to be thoroughly spoiled. Thank you both, we had a really relaxing time staying with you. Situated in a quiet idyllic countryside this B&B went above our expectations. The room is nicely decorated being larger than average and has all the facilities you expect- the large flatscreen tv with free-view was a bonus. The proprietors Mick & Chrissy are very friendly with helpful advice on visiting places. Chrissy also makes a great breakfast! We were made welcome to relax on the patio chairs in their beautiful rear garden (which backed onto farmers fields with mountains in the background). Thank you to Mike & Chrissy for a very enjoyable stay.

Everything, location, the view. The hosts Chrissy and Mike were accommodating, indeed, could not do enough. Lovely homemade cake on arrival, milk in the fridge. Really did not want to leave. Nearly claimed squatters rights 🤪😉 Baby lambs in the field, tadpoles, fish, chickens. And made friends with their cat poppy 🐈‍⬛ Their breakfast was exceptional, homemade bread, hashbrowns, was absolutely stuffed but made a little room for the homemade damson jam, now that was belter , took me back to my childhood when my naine use to make it. Lots of variety also, not just cooked breakfast. Even indulged in chrissy's homemade granola.

There was nothing we did not dislike. What a treat indeed to stay here.

It is a lovely B&B. The owners are really hospitable. The room spacious and the amenities amazing. Also the breakfast was excellent. Chrissie makes her own granola which is out of this world and her own bread. They definitely out of their way to make us feel at home. They really looked after us without being overbearing. They even welcomed us with home made Victoria sponge. It was really comfortable and relaxing. The perfect start to our little holiday. Definitely recommend it and we'll be back.

Chrissy and Mike were outstanding hosts. We were made very welcome from the outset, we had so many amenities and more, Mike even ran us to the local restaurant and picked us up! Chrissy cooked homemade bread, hash browns and a wonderful breakfast which included homemade granola with yoghurt and fresh fruit followed by a full cooked breakfast. Large suite with beautiful views. A gem of a find!

In a quiet beautiful setting. Comfortable property which had the bonus of a living room with large tv, dining table overlooking the owners lovely garden and the fields and hills beyond. Sheep and lambs in these fields which was lovely. The hosts were extremely friendly and professional, couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast was amazing, lots of choice and served to our own room. Gorgeous cake on arrival, fresh milk and water in the fridge. We were truly spoilt. Thank you both for a lovely stay 😀

Had a fabulous stay with Chrissy and Mike. Fantastic night's sleep in a spacious room in a lovely home. We had fresh milk, water and cream cakes in the fridge when we arrived and a delicious cooked breakfast in the morning. The gardens are immaculate and it was lovely to be able to sit out in the evening with some company from the 2 cats! Will certainly be back!

Accommodation was great and extra living space ie lounge and garden made it feel like a home from home. The hosts were terrific and the breakfast 1st rate! A well central place for travelling from to see various sites. Highly recommend staying over for a quiet breakaway from the general busyness of life as incredibly peaceful place to unwind!

Nothing to complain about at all. The driveway exit could've been a little safer with some road mirrors but possibly the local council don't see it as a priority, but who knows and the local drivers seem to know how to be aware of holiday drivers?!

Chrissy and Mike are great hosts, very friendly and helpful. The location is on the countryside and it's very quiet and cozy. Our room was big and we also had another room with sofa, TV, a table for breakfast, a fridge and a good selection of teas. Breakfast was amazing, everything with organic products (the eggs came from their own chickens!) There is also a beautiful garden that you can enjoy. We definetly recommend it!
