An excellent, peaceful and attractive location, with good walks and much to visit nearby. The Lodge itself overlooks a lovely secluded garden area and offers comfortable, and generally well appointed accommodation.

Although space is at a premium, a dishwasher would have been welcome. Cushions for the outside furniture were not well enough protected from the Welsh rain - so were not usable during our stay. Some written instructions for operating the heating would also have been helpful.

Beautiful setting, decor well thought out and tasteful, warm and welcoming. Parking good, really pleasant hosts. Quiet and still close to coast and hills for walking. Self-catering facilities also comprehensive, but local pubs within walking distance. Just a heads-up to fellow Sky Mobile customers- Sky mobile phone reception patchy here at best - this is obviously not the fault of the hosts, but they kindly supply WiFi access for all guests which means WhatsApp (etc) contact always available.

A perfect very stylish self-catering little cottage. Well equipped within very private grounds in the middle of the country side. Excellent location for daytrips and walks in North Wales. In the small village of Rowen 1 mile away there is also a very nice Pub. Highly recommended.

Too perfect

The location, just outside Conwy was absolutely perfect. The hosts/owners Darren & Elizabeth were outstanding & could not have made our stay any better. The property is amazing, with so much character, the grounds are lovely for a walk & the breakfast was excellent. I can not recommend this property & the owners highly enough 👍

A charming cottage in a quite, calm and relaxing area of countryside just few minutes with the car out of Conwy. The location is convenient to visit lots of sightseeing in the north of Wells. The cottage itself is very nice decorated, high quality mattress and pillows, equipped kitchen and a generous shower for UK standards. The owners are very friendly and professional people and we really hope to see them again and spend more time there again

The location of the property was just fabulous, Liz was friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home straight away, Riley the resident pooch was an added bonus. The accommodation and surrounding area was lovely and the peace and quiet was to die for. Breakfast was delicious. We will be returning again for much longer next time, perfect location for exploring the area, loved it :)

Beautiful country house and the room we stayed in was large and very comfortable. Friendly and informative host, who ensured that we knew what was available in the area. Great breakfast served with extras, such as homemade lemon curd.

Modern kitchen and bathroom. Comfy bed. Use of private garden and seating. Could not find fault. Great Wi-Fi and Alexa.
