The photo’s don’t do this place justice. Very clean and well presented with every little thing available from spare toothbrushes, to EarPods and chargers, the list is endless…..It was 1 minute from a great local pub and a quiet location. The owners were very pleasant, polite and welcoming. There was a great use of space and the added bonus of essentials for snacks and drinks. This was complete with a fridge, microwave and toaster and every condiment imaginable! The rooms were comfortable and clean with good quality bedding and towels.

Travelling with young children was a worry with them in a separate room and with a door that appeared to be a third guest room I would worry about their safety during the night. We would definitely stay again for a night with the children but no longer as there is no communal space to entertain them when indoors. As a couple this wouldn’t be an issue!

The location was very beautiful, and there were wonderful views from the outdoor deck area, the room had evrything you needed and the shower was nice spacious and strong, the beds were very comfortable. There was a pub withing a minutes walk that served very good meals. The breakfast options were plenty and our host Ellie had gone to great trouble ensuring we would not need anything, even stocking the pantry with Vegemite so we could have a taste of home.

Not a lot, only minor thing was there was no visible signage when driving from the direction of the pub so I drove past when arriving and had to turn around and come back.

Ellie gave our family such a heartfelt welcome, lasting in all the major and small details that we came across during our stay at Woodbriar. The place has a homey feeling, run with thoughtful care, clearly putting the value of a genuine hospitality above all else. Impeccably clean property with many welcoming items aiming at guests' comfort: bathrobes (even for our kids, which they adored!), plenty of towels and toiletries, many lovely and practical touches in the kitchenette, bathroom and the rooms. The location is convenient and pretty. Not being a very efficient driver, I struggled a bit with parking, but then, so I do at a large Tesco parking lot 😅 The bedrooms are just so cozy and cannot be more welcoming after a whole day of outdoors. There is a pleasant warm ambient temperature in the house. We grew to love the kitchenette and the little pantry, where Ellie's expert housekeeper's keen consideration and generosity saved us from the frantic, last minute shopping in the unfamiliar surroundings, with tired kids after the full day of hiking. Guests occupy the entire ground floor which consists of two bedrooms, a separate bathroom and a kitchenette in the spacious hallway. Even though there is no cooker or a kitchen sink, Ellie made sure our kitchen use needs were fully met. Ellie dear, when back home, I'll be missing the magic dishes basket emptying itself 🙈! Some reviewers mentioned they didn't get to meet the owners more than once, well, we found that they miraculously made their presence both feasible in terms of service, yet invisible to make for our privacy. Such courteous and caring hosts, rightly proud of their small yet impressive business. All our gratitude and respect to you Ellie and Gavin!

Leaving

Everything really. From the time we arrived at the property, we felt welcomed already. Ellie treated us quite nicely, explained the property policy, and showed us around. It was like home away from home. The rooms are clean, and the beds are a joy to sleep at. The self service policy for breakfast is brilliant as we felt like were home. the seating area at the top, was a bonus with the spectacular views of the mountain and sea. The location of the property was perfect for us as we are at max, 40 mins away from the places we wanted to visit like Aber Falls, Conwy Falls, Llandudno Beach, Penmon Point and Conwy Castle.

Lovely location, property was immaculate and well organised. Ellie was amazing host, this is the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in to date.

Fully loaded with everything needed in terms of chargers, additional toiletries if one had run out, and pantry goodies for breakfast.

Parking is tricky! Glad I bought a car not a van. But eventually mastered it and didn’t spoil anything.

Ellie is one of the amazing host . She is tech savvy and has maintained the property with extreme cleanliness. She gave us a warm welcome and made us feel home. Will definitely stay at Woodbriar on my next visit. Thanks Ellie and Gavin !

Excellent, the host has thought of almost anything you might need, like teas, coffees, milk, all sorts of adapters, etc. Really thoughtful setup, we loved our stay!

The rooms are clean, nice and cozy. You could find anything you need during your travel prepared by Ellie, the kindest and most thoughtful host I've ever met! The newly decorated kitchen corner and coffee corner are a surprise too!

Can not recommend this place enough. Rooms were beautiful and the owner had thought of every little detail. The bed was so comfy with the best pillows, breakfast was fantastic and the owner was very friendly, she honestly could not do enough for us
