This hotel goes above and beyond excellence in all areas, staff, food, location 5*. Probably the cleanest hotel/restaurant I've ever seen in my life! Not a spec of dirt to be found. Beautiful people, beautiful location, you've exceeded expectations and set a very high standard for competitors, well done all.

I cannot critise this hotel at all but if you would like me to nit-pick, id say; room service to the cabins would be a nice option, just a simple menu like a pizza or burger or breakfast roll (to-go-style). Only because I climbed Snowdon as was unable to move that evening and the next morning.

Everything was exceptional. The managerial team (Michelle and Mark) were curteous, very helpful, and extremely friendly. Mark has a brilliantly witty personality and a wonderful sense of humor. Michelle is very welcoming and so friendly and is keen to attend to every need of the guests. Between the two of them, I did not feel I was away from home. I was impressed with the attention to detail and that personal touch . I would highly recommend this . Not a criticism, but a suggestion: - The wifi needs to be bit more robust

The hotel is well situated for walks as it's just by the river but it is a little bit out of the town. The room we had was spacious and the bathroom had a shower and a bath. The bed was comfortable but we would have appreciated a king sized bed rather than a double. It would definitely have fit in the room. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Overall, it was a nice stay and I would go back.

Breakfast was okay but I didn't like having to make my own toast, especially considering the price paid for the room. The coffee wasn't brilliant and came out of a large thermos. This was disappointing as on the first day we were provided with toast and coffee in a cafetiere (I think this was because they weren't as busy).

Beautiful location, friendly, helpful staff, large bedroom and en suite. Everywhere was spotless and a large paddock to walk the dog albeit we had to keep him on a lead as there were sheep grazing when we stayed. The breakfast were tasty with local sourced products, and the evening meals fabulous but a little pricy.

Would have liked a lunch time menu, they did do an afternoon tea and savoury platter, but no snack available.

The location was amazing, walking the fields along the river is beautiful. The staff are friendly and helpful, couldn’t ask for better service. We got food at the restaurant, that was brilliant, welsh salmon was some of the best I’ve ever had. Breakfast was very nice, not greasy.

Our only complaint was the bed. For us it was uncomfortable. It was a kingsize, but it was two beds put together with a noticeable hole between them.

Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of perfection! Nestled near the village amidst stunning grounds by the river, the location couldn't have been better. We enjoyed fantastic walks, including a breathtaking gorge just 10 minutes away. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. Our room was comfortable, with a lovely bed and bath. But what truly impressed us was the dining experience. Both breakfast and dinner were superb, with dinner reaching Michelin quality standards. Overall, an unforgettable stay. Perfect location, impeccable service, comfortable rooms, and outstanding dining options. We can't wait to return!

The Hotel is in a great location, just a short walk from the town of Betsy Coed. We booked a river view room and it was lovely. The room was a good size and spotlessly clean. It had a balcony so we could enjoy the view. We chose to eat at the restaurant in the evening and the food was exceptional. I would highly recommend it. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.. We had a lovely stay. The open fire in the lounge was an added bonus.

The friendly, skilled, and excellent,staff made the holiday an absolute pleasure. The location is perfect if you need a relaxing escape from modern life. The combination of the river, bird life and a beautiful green valley give you little slice of heaven. I recently lost my wife and needed somewhere to heal. This place gave me that restful place, to find my own peace.

Absolutely stunning location in Betws-Y-Coed! The staff are fabulous and very accommodating and the hotel itself is pretty as a picture.

There was a film crew staying at the same time, who left the hotel between 3-4 each morning and would slam their doors at all hours. Not the fault of the hotel though, just thoughtless guests.

Excellent location, the restaurant food was superb too, and the staff were great as well. Extra points for Mark's banter with us - he made the stay even better.

Look, it's a great location, food etc but the room wasn't particularly quiet and we could hear a crying baby at various times during the night. I'd still stay here again but if you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs or some kind of "white noise" device!!
