The property was much closer to the centre of the village than we expected, and in a very attractive street. Parking and check-in procedure were very easy and the proprietor was very helpful. Breakfast was available in a self-serve kitchen on the same level as our bedroom and was varied and very tasty. The room was comfortable and full of character, including a skylight over the bed so that we could see the weather and/or watch the stars. Have never stayed in Blaenau Ffestiniog before (although have visited as a daytrip) it's a lovely village and we found the local people to be very friendly. We picked this accommodation as a base for visiting Harlech, are very glad we did so.

This is a wonderful guesthouse with a convenient location, very comfortable rooms, and an outstanding breakfast. I had seen previous reviews raving about the breakfast and thought, how good can it actually be? Well, it’s as great as everyone says. That it is provided free of charge is thoughtful and kind, and it really made our stay extra nice.

The rooms are comfortable, although the lights are a little alarmingly bright for my taste. Our room was quite hot, but a fan was provided so that was no problem in the end.

Fantastic little property with private parking. The room was incredibly comfortable and the hosts were very communicative and helpful, messaging me directions and recommendations for places to eat etc. The room was large and airy, with the comfiest bed we've slept in in a while! With a very large ensuite bathroom, the shower over the bath was hot and had good water pressure - the bath looked very inviting too! The self service breakfast was lovely, with it being available from 0700 til 0830 in the kitchen with hot bacon and eggs, along with toast, jams, fruit juice and muffins. The place itself is right in the centre of Blaenau Ffestiniog and although the town isn't large, it has stunning views and lovely local shops.

the room was clean and tidy. not a big room but not small either. the shower was clean and operating. and after a walk up Snowdon was great for a hot shower with no loss of hot water. the breakfast was good. help yourself in the kitchenette, and the bread was amazing. home baked and wow was incredible nice. over all just a really pleasant stay.

not room related but all the local places to eat stopped around 2100 hours on a Saturday meaning you either needed to travel or be stuck with takeaway.

Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, room was clean and had all the basics you need. Good sized shower cubicle and plenty of hot water. Great communication from owners. Very handy location for the Snowdonia Slate Trail, local chippy for tea and a Co-op.

No hot chocolate sachets on the tea and coffee tray was disappointing but I just bought my own from the Co-op. Room could have done with a fresh lick of paint in places and bathroom taps are a bit old and ready for some modern ones.

Beautiful area, friendly helpful host went out his way to ensure we enjoyed our stay, excellent breakfast with homemade bread & jam, bacon, eggs, beans, muffins, yogurts, cereal- delicious! Dog friendly & our dogs had a great time too! Thankyou we will be back!

Nothing really, if I had to be picky maybe a bit of updating the shower, air extraction fan could do with a good old clean. Can’t complain with the cost of the place, we had a lovely memorable stay.

The bed was very comfortable, warm and cosy. Perfect location in town, and local walk. got all equipment need, good small standard size layout , self service breakfast on same floor of bedrooms shower was large enough room and perfect temperature unlike other places I been. Walk in and collect keys via by email. Good information parking was fab for 6 cars

Creaking floor, door slamming as door heavy. And issue with TV Maybe update landing, staircase and walk through corridor as entry in was like oh dear made a mistake but then going into the room is completely different story.

Gorgeous little guest house in scenic Blaenau Ffesteniog! Very charming accomodation with all necessities provided and wonderful hospitality, including breakfast. There is also access to a communal kitchen space that came in very handy! Price was also extremely reasonable. Would absolutely stay here again!!!

Almost nothing, especially for what we paid!

Comfortable room with an excellent self serve breakfast each morning. Centrally located in this small town. Parking space was a bit cramped but the owner parked our vehicle for us. Price was right.

Not actually an issue with the guest house, but be aware the town is small and there are only takeaway restaurants. If you want a sit down dinner, stop somewhere en route. The Oakley Arms or Grapes are on the way into town.

You step into a beautiful old chapel, with signs of its old character. The rooms are clean, large with great amenities. I had a great night sleep. The bed was super cozy. The owners were kind enough to leave me breakfast as I was leaving early. The car parking is really useful. The area is really safe. The owners are very hospitable and I recommend.

I did feel a little warm and found it a little bit hard to open the windows. 😀
