The cottage was exceptionally cosy for a stunning winter break, and heated up very quickly using the thermostat or the log fire. The sofa was extremely comfortable, as was the bed. Our host left us a gorgeous little hamper of treats to enjoy, as well as some logs for the fire. The setting is absolutely sublime. Hunkered in between the mountains, it is a mystical place with hikes and adventures in abundance. Just a short drive to the coast too. We would recommend the bistro in town too. Don't hesitate to book! Very convenient parking just outside too. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we would happily return.

We stayed over the Xmas period and it was the most relaxing and idyllic beautiful cottage . It really is very homely sitting in front of the log burner on them cold and winter nights you just can’t beat it , Emma the host greeted us on arrival which was so nice she is a very helpful and approachable and really went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed , she left a lovely hamper with lovely goodies in and fridge essentials like butter milk cheese and a nice bottle of Prosecco . The cottage is right in the village so you have everything on your doorstep , if you’re looking for a quiet relaxing stay this is the ideal place . Thank you Emma 🌸

Perfect location to walks and amenities/local village. Lovely cosy cottage. Gorgeous welcome pack. Fantastic communication with host.
Only two chairs at the dining table and we are a family of three. A toaster would have been useful for ease. Bunk bed room in need of repair - great big chunks of plaster missing in the wall, hidden by a large cushion on the bed.

Fantastic location, central to most attractions in North Wales. Great village with everything you could required. The property was beautifully decorated with lots of lovely home comforts to make the stay even nicer.
Having to be really picky about this because it was a great property and great stay… The shower did the job but wasn’t very powerful. Very good temperature but just a bit weak. But still did the job.

Absolutely stunning cottage! Interior has been done brilliantly. The cottage has a lot of character and cosy. A great outdoor space in absolute silence. The cottage is approximately a 5 Minute drive from Pen Y Pass carpark.
I can't really fault anything about our stay! If I had to try and find something, the plumbing could have a slight remodel as it can be noisy with the water boiler - But I understand that it is an old cottage and may not be on mains gas etc.

What a lovely little cottage. The attention to detail is amazing and makes the place so cosy and pleasant for the eye. Loved all the little extra touches from the owner, i.e. fresh Welsh bread and cakes and Prosecco in the fridge! The view from the garden is amazing as we enjoyed our morning coffee on a clear day. Communication with the owner was also spot on, any questions would be answered straight away via phone. Would 100% recommend and come back again. Thanks a lot, Emma!

Amazing location, cozy cottage, and host kindly let logs, milk, bread, and butter for us to enjoy! Also, the host was very accommodating to the request for late checkout, that was a bonus! In addition she was ok for me to take the dog....overal amazing place, great host.

Christmas decorations up making the place feel very homely. Was a nice surprise finding the small welcome gifts that the owner left for us (bread, milk, butter, cakes and a few drinks).
Smell of Kerosene downstairs coming from the bathroom but I assume the oil heater was working overdrive during this extreme cold snap!

Lovely cottage ideal for hiking in the surrounding area. Beautifully decorated with everything we needed, and the booklet provided was full of useful information about the town and local attractions.
