I don’t know where to start with what we liked about Aberdunant Hall. Set in the most beautiful of surroundings in the hills of North Wales, the hotel is beautifully appointed with lots of its character being retained. Our room was amazing with a lovely view and superb facilities. A huge comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom with a brilliant double shower. The food here was so good. Portions were large without sacrificing quality and a good choice on the menu. At breakfast there were plenty of options with everything fresh. The hotel has a lovely terrace where you can sit and have a pleasant drink on a nice evening. But, the best aspect of Aberdunant hall is the staff! Attentive without being intrusive, so helpful and very friendly. From helping with luggage to suggestions of where to visit they could not have been better. And we did meet quite a few members of staff so it seemed to be everyone who had the same helpful, friendly disposition.

Nothing at all.

Great site, had lovely meal on arrival in the restaurant, nice patio / bar area outside and the accommodation was very good. The hot tub was excellent and the Wi-Fi was fast & easy to setup. Shower was good, lounge was comfy, very clean. Fantastic location, close to some of the best riding roads I've ever been on.

We were on motorcycles so couldn't bring much, site advertised tea / coffee making facilities so we were kind of expecting some complimentary sachets or such but there weren't any, also only had 1 toilet roll no spare which in a lodge that sleeps 6 (3 of us) seems a bit tight which leads to the final issue, no shop on site that we could find to get basics like this despite how big the site is. Had to gear up again and ride to town to get basics.

The Cabana 11 is gorgeous. Neat compact unit with everything you’d need. Kitchen, lounge area, bathroom and bed. The bed although small is comfortable and the curtain you can pull around makes the area dark. The Hall serves meals and we had the 2 course Carvery and a bottle of wine at dinner. It was delicious and we’re impressed with the food. Definitely could have stayed here longer than the 2 days. It wasn’t expected but the unit was serviced and our bed was made. We’d hung our towels so they were left and I’d done the washing up and that was dried and put away.

We were a little confused as to where to go to check in. We followed the check in signs to the main building but were sent back to the Sales Office. The bed is, what they call in a caravan, an East West bed, so someone has to climb over the other. Not an ideal situation when you’re a senior who needs to go a couple of times a night. Shame because otherwise this accommodation would be perfect.

The grounds and lodge/mobile home (we booked one of each for our respective party) were spotless and there were such lovely walks around the site. The site was quiet and peaceful with guests being respectful of others during their stays, so one was able to drink a morning coffee in silence, enjoying the sound of the birds/nature. The restaurant food was delicious and staff were very attentive. As a family of varying ages we would stay here again. We stayed for 2 nights. I would say 3 nights is the right amount of time.

Would have loved a pool and on site shop (just stocking some basics - milk / paper).

We stayed at the cabana, and it’s just like how the pictures shows. Beautiful set up and you have everything you need! It’s very private but also you have nice little neighbors too! It’s defiantly one of the highlights of the trip. If you are staying for quite a few days, will recommend you to bring bring food that you need for cooking. As it’s quite away from closest supermarket. Food in the restaurant is stunning, so we end up go to restaurant every dinner as we didn’t bring enough ingredients to cook. It’s 20 secs walk to the restaurants and 20-30mins drive to snowdonia. Location is great!

Literally nothing!! Nothing we can pick on

A Perfect Stay at Aberdunant Hall Hotel I recently stayed at Aberdunant Hall Hotel and honestly, everything was perfect. The hotel itself is beautiful, set in a stunning location with peaceful surroundings and a charming atmosphere. What truly made the experience exceptional was the staff — every single person we interacted with was incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The rooms were spotless and cozy, the food was delicious, and the entire stay felt like a breath of fresh air. I can't recommend this place highly enough — we’ll definitely be coming back!

Amazing stunning venue in the hills, friendly amazing staff who made mine and my boyfriend’s birthday celebrations 10/10! Room was comfy, clean and felt like home. Staff were always smiling and happy to help with anything! Food was STUNNING! your vegan orange chocolate torte has me dreaming about it! And you added a lovely birthday banner to our table for dinner. It was our first trip away together, and our bdays are 1 day apart! EXCELLENT! We are already talking about going back next year!

All amazing! Wouldn’t change anything!

Really enjoyed our last minute stay in a cabana at Aberdunant Hall. The site is very civilised, with lots of nature and space between properties. The cabana was up on the hill and had an amazing view! It was just big enough for the 4 of us and it was spotlessly clean. There are 4 car charging spots at the site and it worked seamlessly with the app. We had pizza in the evening which was delicious. We used the playground and the Green. All in all it felt wonderful and I would definitely book again if I was coming to Wales and there was availability.

A small shop on site would have been great! But otherwise it was perfect.

Amazing location. 25 min drive from Snowdonia where we hiked. The friendliest staff in every area we went too of the place.

We stayed in the cabana room 16. We wish the downstairs bed was a little more well planned and it dipped and each side making it a little difficult to sleep at times. We came when the weather was very hot so a fan on the room would have been great as we didn’t feel comfortable leaving the windows open while we slept. Not big deals and things we didn’t feel like we needed to mention as it was manageable

We had a fabulous corner room, glorious views towards both the mountains and the woods, with a terrific shower room. Sunday dinner (Roast) was very good, competitively priced. Breakfast was excellent, friendly, helpful staff in the dining room. The lounge area and outside patio area are first class, with great views of the mountains

The hotel probably has around 10 rooms but you need to be aware that it is located up a long drive which very effectively hides a very large number of holiday park mobile homes and more recently cabanas and lodges. That does provide alternative accommodation options. However you need to be aware that the restaurant and bar, outside patio, breakfast service are all used by non residents so it can get very busy on weekends or holidays. There are plenty of eating out options a short drive away but nothing within walking distance
