Great location for our 3 night family visit in Conwy. The self-contained chalet is comfortable and spacious. Took a little time figuring out how to work the electric radiator, but once on it soon heated the room. Bed was comfy, modern tv with free sat. Sadly, the sound wasn't working properly, but I generally use my phone connection via hdmi cable, so it wasn't a problem. Facilities were great . Tea and coffee In a proper mug. Overall, we had a great experience.

Sadly, the shower could do with an upgrade. It had very little pressure and danced between hot and cold.

Room was clean, cosy and perfect for a few nights away. There was also a bar on site which was perfect to unwind with a few drinks in the evening, with the option to watch the football, play some pool and some darts. But by far the highlight of this property was the friendly and welcoming staff who catered to our needs and went above and beyond to help us out. We had got the bus from this property to a local town to go for some food and drinks (thinking we would get a taxi home) however when trying to book a cab none would take us due to them being fully booked and busy. We were stuck and the only option i had was to call the owner, he not only gave us some advice on how to get back, but when this didn’t work he came and picked us up and took us back to the hotel! Now im not saying this is a service that he would love to commonly include in guests stays, but it shows the lengths willing to go for the guests.

The location was quiet and although basic the little chalet was clean, tidy and a great base to sleep in. We were also recommended a lovely pub 1 minute up the road which had lovely homemade food as the accommodation didn't appear to serve food.

The bathroom sink was in the bedroom which was a little strange but didn't cause an issue. The bathroom needs a little update and the radiator didn't appear to work. The bathroom door was also sticky so you couldn't go to the bathroom quietly! The only other niggle was the walls are thin so you can hear people talking in the rooms next door if they are loud!

Perfect stopping place to explore Conwy valley, 10-15min drive from Conwy and Betws-y Coed either way. Basic decor, building and facilities, but large room, bath, sky TV and even hot chocolate in the room. There are starting points to excellent hikes up into the Carneddau a very short drive from the hotel. Starting this side is much less busy than from the A5. Good access to drive out to the A5 and towards Snowdon/Yr Wyddfa too. Dog friendly, they charge per night and also take a deposit but paid cash and got it back after a quick look over the room, said they were looking for excess hair. Staff were friendly and helpful.

More just a warning to be prepared to travel out to get food as they don't serve food every night nor does the walkable pub. Staff were helpful though and suggested a really lovely place a short drive away called Groes Inn Hotel which was amazing. Dog policy is one of the fiddliest I've come across - I'm sure for good reason - but do read it really carefully, or even contact them, before booking and again before arriving to get cash out etc.

Great location , the bar was well stocked and they had some live football on which was an added bonus. Both members of staff were friendly (The man and the woman) Room had everything that was needed and sky tv (first time having sky in a cheapish stay). I would stay here again

My ONLY gripe (and this is a real small gripe) was the heating being turned off automatically, but this was a minor issue as there was an electric heater in the room - i just cuddled up to my wife a bit more than i normally would have

Friendly helpful host. Quiet location on the way to our next stop. The beds were most comfortable. Good basic accommodation with outside seating area. Would stay again. Excellent free parking close to the room. Wifi connection was good.

The bathroom needs attention as the top of the toilet was cracked and broken but still worked. Website and hotel advertising showed food available, but the restaurant was no longer operating. No-one to be seen when we checked out.

The place was nice and quiet and secluded from the main town' hustle bustle. Righ in the middle of rolling grasslands. We woe up to the sounds to early hour mooing cows which was a treat in itself.

The water situation was a bit perilious. The shower wasnt working tried to make it work but to no avail. I could have talked to the site manager to get it fixed and probably should have done that. But yeah I had to fiddle with the flush to get it going.

Great little find. Very welcoming host, good beer and a roaring fire in the bar area. The room was great and very comfortable. Such good value for money in a very convenient location for hill walking.

Due to the time of year, it was very much in the off season, no food was being served. Not an issue but something to prepare for if you are staying in the winter.

I booked a triple room for myself haha! It was affordable and available. Loved the location so much. Is on the main bus route so commute was easy. There were not many guests in the other chalets too so they didn’t turn the central heating on but the heater they provided was better than central heating! Could warm up the room in minutes. Since there were not many guests so they didn’t serve breakfast either. I went to Conwy and llandudno for exploring and eating out.

- The checkin procedure is fast, short and efficient even though we arrived at 10 at night. - Spacious and comfortable rooms. - 2 comfortable and large separate beds - Easy access to the ground floor room with no stairs at all. - The room has a set of coffee, tea, electric kettle, water bottles. - A very good price compared to hotels in the area. - The blackout curtain is excellent (a problematic thing in most hotels) - Excellent value for money

- Weak water flow in the bath - no electricit sockets near the beds Small mirror near the sink.
