The service from the staff was brilliant. Free parking (not a massive car park(s) but seemed like just enough) good location, easy to find and great view from the both sides of the communal areas. Breakfast was good too and generally there was a nice and relaxed feel to the place.

It’s a hostel so rooms are basic but fine, our private twin room was a corner room and definitely on the small side (other rooms looked like they might be bigger). It was fair value for the area. Not a negative but you’ll need to bring or hire a towel and you’re made aware of this in advance. In terms of comfort I could recommend it for a shorter stay rather than a longer trip but that’s simply because it’s a hostel - you just need to understand the type of accommodation you’re booking.

We were really happy with our stay. The location is fabulous, with fantastic views. The staff are so lovely and friendly. The whole place was clean throughout our 2 night stay. The facilities were great, plenty of spaces and places to sit or play. There is plenty of free parking. It really was a pleasant stay.

Literally, the only thing that stopped me rating it 10/10 was the beds. We had a double bed on the bottom bunk and a single bed on the top, which was fine for us. However, with every slight movement, the bed creaked and squeaked very loudly. The mattresses are also extremely thin and on metal bed frames, so they are not very comfortable. So we didn't get quality sleep, unfortunately. Otherwise, couldn't fault the stay.

Lovely views from the dining / lounge area Brilliant location within walking distance to the town Plenty of free parking Great value

En suite - the automatic light and fan turns on every time the door is opened and continues for at least 10 mins afterwards. Also room mates you never met before can hear everything. So it's quite noisy when trying to sleep. I prefer the dorms where toilets are separate and down the hallway. Kitchen could be better organised as although it was quite big, it was also packed with appliances. There was limited counter space to prepare food, and it was difficult to move around.

The staff were great: super friendly, easy to talk to, and ready to help. The double bunk bed room was nice with a large window. Our en-suite was a nice size and the water pressure in the shower was very strong. Kitchen facilities met our needs with cutting boards, knives and cutlery, pots and pans. The cafeteria hall had some great views on either side and was a good social environment, we bought the breakfast on one of the days and it was pretty good. The games room was a bit small but had all we needed: a pool table and foosball table. Location is very close to Conwy town centre and there were a good number of activities available to us without having to travel too far.

We were only able to open one small window in our room, but we weren't spending much time in there anyway. Didn't find a mixing bowl in the kitchen, so bring your own. Those are the only 2 small downsides tbh

Highly recommended this YHA hostel, my bunk bed room is an ensuite. Great views. Super friendly staff. The spacious kitchen is well-organised, really clean and tidy. The garden is well maintained and quiet. Well designed commute area including lounge, game room. Book shelves are found in most of the commute area. I can feel that YHA is serious on sustainability, warm reminders encourage travellers to reduce carbon emissions. Excellent location, which is within 15min walking distance to Conwy town centre, train station and Conwy castle.

There was a dried, semi-transparent object stick on the bed sheet. The shower was too strong that almost push me against the shower screen. And the volume of shower water that comes out is definitely greater than average showers As the shower control starts at cold water, it would be nice if the shower head could flex some 30-60 degree, so people could get in without getting wet by cold water or not wetting the floor when adjusting for warm water. Only one ceiling light in the room. A small reading light for each bed would be great.

One of my favourite YHA properties to stay at. The beds are comfortable and the common room has the best views. The breakfast is absolutely delicious and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The bathrooms are also very spacious

No criticism at all about the property, just a note if you’re walking from the train station, there is a very big hill to walk up! Doable but not pleasant so best to get a taxi booked or find a bus (but at the time, the road was closed due to road works and the buses didn’t have access)

Good location, close to shops, restaurants etc views were beautiful, great value for breakfast with kids eating for £1 with full paying adult. Room was adequate, good value for the price. We just needed an overnight stop in the way to Holyhead and it was perfect.

Carpet could do with changing in the room- had a very stale smell, unpleasant even though window was kept open and room was aired. Could have done with a towel to put on the floor outside of the shower, we paid for towels but didnt get one for the floor. It got quite wet. These are only minor negatives, points of feedback, and wouldn't stop us staying there again.

The staff are brilliant. We were welcomed by Mike, who was very helpful. He made sure we have disabled badge holder spot. The views are spectacular from the room to the terrace to the living room plus the dining hall. We paid extra money for cooked breakfast, which also had continental breakfast included. We were given discounts on one child's breakfast, and it was £1. This definitely made our day. There was a pool table and table football. The kids enjoyed their stay thoroughly. Tourist attractions are at the doorstep. You could walk down to Conwy castle. It was good value for the money we paid. The shower was amazing.

The place is a little run down and needs some renovation. It still doesn't affect your stay and you can still enjoy it. The terrace grass needed trimmed down , only reason we couldn't sit there.

Clean rooms with en-suite bathroom and enough space for storage! Nice view of the mountains from the hostel! Nice staff and tranquil vibe! I wanted to stay an extra night but it was full (even if it didn’t feel crowded which was a bonus)

Would be nice to add curtains around the beds for more privacy but I had a great experience anyway 😍 a bit of a steep walk if you have a luggage. No wifi in the rooms only in the common area which was okay for me
