Layout of hotel was excellent . Food very good, well presented. Room ( no 2 quite small but acceptable. Bathroom/ toilet etc exceptionally clean ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Room very close to the main road so noise from vehicles is noticeable.

Small issue but NO hanging hook's for clothes when showering / washing . Stick on type would acceptable I'm sure.on a more serious note ,bar price of non alcoholic cider WAY over priced .I drink the same brand at home at a cost of UNDER £1 a 500 ml bottle . Having said that your price is consistent with other outlets in Conway and other resorts .

The porridge was very well made and i only have it for breakfast 365 days per year and yours definitely didn't let me down and if you didn't make it we would have stayed somewhere else and the location was very good,i have always lived in a farm in Nice open coucountryside window's and love the views from all your windows,a very comfortabing place,so in real farmyard and country talk overall its Not Bad,which means excellent,so thank you very much and we hope to come back, honestly

Nothing, a lovely location and really good enjoyable food and good friendly staff and I'm not being polite if there was anything that we didn't like,we'd have let you know,no doubt

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Groes Inn. The rooms were superb and we had a fantastic view of Snowdonia from the room. The staff were all amazing! They were helpful, friendly and really made you welcome. The food was fantastic. There was plenty of choice and their Prix Fixe menu offered great value for money. I would recommend the Wexford Chicken followed by the Eton Mess! This is an excellent establishment and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in North Wales.

The rooms overlooking the fields are especially amazing! Both our two rooms and rest of the facility were beautiful! Staff was very friendly. Dinner and breakfast were fantastic. In fact, fish and chips at dinner (with curry sauce) was among best of our entire trip to UK. Great location near Conwy, but in the gorgeous countryside. I will definitely recommend The Groes Inn to everyone and return in the future!

As an American, we are used to having air conditioning. This is not a criticism of the hotel - lack of AC is common there! But this is just something to note if it is important to you (That said, I would not trade the experience of the Groes Inn to have had AC. It was wonderful.) Also, bathroom needed some minor repairs/paint.

Our stay at the Groes Inn was the perfect little cosy adventure away. The Inn itself is a very cosy warm atmosphere, with beautiful mountain views in the distance. We got a signature room with mountain view and it was well worth the money, the room was cosy and had everything needed to facilitate a perfect weekend away. The Inn is placed near the town of Conwy and not too far of a drive away to Snowdon and the surrounding mountains, we thoroughly enjoyed getting to explore. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was amazing, it is clear that they prioritize the guests at the inn. The restaurant attached to the inn was cosy, comfortable with top-quality customer service. My partner particular enjoyed the fire heaters they had which created the perfect atmosphere. The food was very delicious at a really reasonable price, no more expensive really then what you would spend at a Harvester.

We were given a good size bedroom on the ground floor with a large bathroom with a wet room style shower (think it was a room for the disabled). Bed was huge and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a good cold and cooked selection. The restaurant was ok, not the best but not the worst. Service was slow but only one member of waiting staff on for the whole service so you can't blame her (she did a stirling job). Found plastic in my desert and they were very apologetic and didn't charge me for my desert.

The room wasn't as clean as I would have expected. Cobwebs on the walls and dirty floor under the bed. Also a large gap under the door to the outside meant we had to lay a bag across it at night. We were also unable to leave the windows open at night as they were an old type window with no means to secure them when open. This meant the nights were airless and stuffy. The whole place felt in need of a refresh, it felt very tired. I know it's an old, historical building so they may be restricted as to what they can do but it has so much potential to be great. A little love and greater attention to detail would elevate the Groes Inn to a great place to stay.

The staff were all very helpful and lovely. The room was very clean. The bed was fresh and comfy. Really enjoyed my stay and it is dog friendly. No smell of dog in the room. Breakfast was very tasty. Plenty of choice. I ate at the Inn the previous evening. Lovely food and good service, reasonable price. Nice stay for me and my little dog. I would happily book again. Thanks from me.

My only complaint was the toilet seat was cracked.

Last sitting 9.30am a little too early for us. 10am would have been better. So we had paid but went without. Pity your system does not allow for cost of accommodation Without breakfast.. Location was brill for us. J.W.Leess bitter and pale ale was lovely.

General external building decor and internal room decor all a bit shabby. Bar and Dining areas were fine. All three evening meals were first class. Compliments to Chefs.

Just returned from 3 nights at The Groes Inn We had a pleasantly decorated and extremely comfortable room. The breakfast was excellent and we ate in the restaurant which was also good. Every member of staff was professional, friendly and extremely helpful; a credit to the hotel. The views t the back were stunning. If visiting Conwy in the future we would not hesitate to return.

We booked a superior room, which had a twin bedroom, bathroom and very comfortable, separate sitting area. The food was of a high standard , with a good selection on the menu, and the staff were very pleasant. There is ample parking and the hotel is a good centre for visiting a number of local attractions. We would certainly stay there again.

The first night service in the restaurant was a little slow, although we were in no hurry but, on the second night, it was excellent.
