Superb location overlooking Conwy castle. Tasty continental breakfast, hand prepared with lots of care from great quality ingredients, wrapped in plastic free packaging. A total feast for the eye everywhere you looked for retro lovers in this absolutely unique treasure trove hosted by exceptionally lovely people. A toasty warm, spotless room, cozy bed, environmentally caring products - everything you need for your Conwy adventure.

I can't fault it - it was the perfect place away from home - even through the ravages of Storm Darragh.

Breakfast was served in the room and came in a lovely picnic basket, left at the door. Continental but everything one could want, and we could have breakfast in our PJ's!!! We had 2 nights here and wished we had had time for more. It is in an ideal position, out the door to the castle walls and quick walk to castle, and on the doorstep to the town centre with shops and restaurants. Few more steps and onto the waterfront. Our room was fantastic, lots of lemurs and jungle, bed was lovely and comfortable and we spent peaceful nights. The one great thing is the huge Number 18 on the front of the building. When you are driving and looking for your accommodation how lovely is it not to have to search.!! Parking is everywhere, and also just outside the front door. Thanks Melissa and John, we had a lovely stay.

Absolutely nothing.

Breakfasts were good, they were brought to the room at an agreed time, and were excellent. The room was beautifully clean and the bed very comfortable. The location was brilliant, and everything in the town was within easy reach. The decor of the rooms takes your breath away! Would particularly appeal to someone with an interest in 20th century design.

Two comfortable armchairs would have been a great addition to the room. Also, we had indicated we were vegetarian, but after the first day or two cold meat appeared in the breakfast basket alongside the cheese. I'm not complaining about this as we didn't say anything at the time, but maybe a feedback form or similar in the breakfast basket might have made commenting easier.

A quirky b&B, unusual but fab decor! The bed was cosy and comfortable! Lovely welcome by the owner, offer of tea and cake in the lounge was a great touch. The continental breakfast served in our room was excellent, amazing homemade butter and jam was great. Would definitely stay here again., the vibe is so nice! 😁

The shower was temperamental, had to dance to avoid being either scalded or frozen 🫣. The parking was a problem as it doesn't allow you to pay for overnight without having to go back out later in the night to cover it, this is not the owners fault though . Steep stairs could be a problem .

So glad we booked No.18. From the warm greeting from Melissa to the wonderful eclectic rooms that transported me back to my happy 70s childhood. The room was huge with separate dining area, the most comfortable bed and an amazing continental breakfast. It's in the best location just across the road from Conwy Castle which we had wonderful views of from our windows. Would most definitely book again.

Cant fault anything

OK, you have to like quirky 1970s decor and furniture! It's fun and cheerful if gloriously over the top, especially in the residents lounge. The colours are vibrant, our room was very orange for example so know what you are booking if you have a phobia of a particular colour!! The room was very comfortable, if a little small. A very clean bathroom, a good shower. Great views of Conwy Castle from the room. Minutes from restaurants and bars, bay and of course the Castle. Breakfast in a basket was provided in the room, very good

Beware if booking: the stairs up to the second floor especially are quite steep/narrow, so not suitable if mobility or balance issues, Careful carrying luggage but the owners are very helpful when checking in.

We really adored the individual retro style of the hotel. Our room was cosy but also had plenty of space, including our own little sitting room. The furnishings, artworks and collectables, all so carefully chosen by our hosts, make this a truly original and fun place to stay. The bed was very comfy, and we enjoyed the continental breakfast. The hotel is really close to city walls and Conwy Castle, so views from our room were lovely. Plenty of good pubs nearby too.

Nothing, everything was fantastic. Note, if you have mobility issue make sure you read accessibility information in the listing as there are narrow stairs.

Amazing hotel with great central location with fantastic views of the castle in the “dark room”. The decor is a wonderful pop of colour throughout the hotel, so individual and so well thought out and executed. The bed was super comfy, the separate sitting area was a gem of a room. The basket breakfast is exceptional, lots of choice with first class ingredients all fresh and of superb quality. A magical hotel with really friendly hosts, what a find!

This place is an absolute Jem! The owner is super friendly and welcoming. My favourite part of the b n b has to be the guest lounge the decor is absolutely stunning and there was free cake, tea, and coffee you could help yourself too. Music playing and a nice candle lit. The whole vibe of the b n b was just fantastic. My room was funky and absolutely gorgeous!! Wish I could have stayed longer.

Nothing everything was perfect!

Our stay was EXCEPTIONAL. The rooms were gorgeous, and it was a nice bonus that there was a cool little sitting room we had access to downstairs. Our room looked directly out onto the castle which was a lovely bonus, and the room was both beautiful and so comfy. The breakfast basket in the morning was lush, loads of choice and a really quality spread. This place is also slap bang in the middle of Conwy so very convenient. Could not recommend this more highly.
