Brilliantly central location hotel between the tram station, pier and main street. Everything is nearby. Staff (Dominic) was very polite and couldn't have done more to enhance our stay. New ownership & management really trying to turn things around for this once unloved & dated hotel

Previously poor reviews aren't reflective of the new owners who are trying very hard to turn this business around. It's a shame they have to carry over the previous owners ratings as its not reflective of their service and plans in the future. We stayed on the top floor deluxe family room which was very spacious, comfortable and clean. It could well be that the other rooms are in a less desirable condition, but give the new owners time and a chance while they refurbish everything up to standard

Close to all the main attractions in Llandudno and there’s plenty to do in the area. Lots of nature views and excursions, the great orme tram is on the street which goes to the summit and you can get cable cars down to the beach. Staff were very helpful namely Dominic. I was sceptical after reading other reviews but there is clear instructions on when the reception is manned and what to do outside of these hours. Room was comfortable and you can see the pier from the room it’s that close! Lovely cliff views from the other side with seagulls visiting windows often for food, kids loved feeding them they’re so friendly. Lots of restaurants in side street with variety of cuisines. Breakfast wasn’t available at this time at the hotel although they are in process of renovation and new ownership so that should change. They run a cafe from downstairs so that’s helpful and there is the complimentary tea/coffee stand in the room with kettle. We also had access to iron and ironing board, Dominic also found us a Fan for the scorching heat! Bathroom was en suite and room was child friendly. Great price, great stay! Thank you.

Non had a pleasant stay with kids

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the gentleman who made our stay very warm and welcomed. The interior and furniture were very nice, we loved the comfiness and aesthetics the hotel gave off. We were very pleased with the room we were given; it was really cosy. The location is brilliant, you are literally by the shops, restaurant and the beach. We were unable to park outside as there were no available parking spaces however, there is a car park in which you can stay for 24 hours at York Road Car Park (York Rd, Llandudno LL30 2EF) for £4.80 and is about 10-15 minutes walk away.

Overall, we had a very pleasant night's rest. However, be warned that seagulls will be very loud in the morning so bring a pair of earplugs if you don't want any rude wakening in the early hours!

The hotel surpassed all my expectations! The staff was welcoming and accommodating right from the moment we checked in. The room was clean, and the view of the city from it was splendid. “The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and efficient.” “The room amenities were nicely done, spacious, and rooms were very comfortable.” “The sleep quality was excellent, and the mattresses felt like sleeping at home.”

The location of the hotel is brilliant so close to everything. The lady on reception was so friendly and couldn't have been more helpful to us and our 4 legged companions.

The hotel is undergoing a lot of exterior improvements and the restaurant is being refurbished so wasn't open. This didn't affect our stay as you can see they are committed to investing in the hotel.

So. This place was awesome I went with my 2 baby’s for the weekend and couldn’t of asked for a better stay! Staff were amazing friendly and there if needed at any time. Close to everything you need kids had the best time place was clean with a great atmosphere it was warm I’ll 100% be going again. Would recommend to go it’s cheap if of happily paid more for my stay. Reception was so friendly treat d myself and the kids like royalty. Thank you for a great stay.

Parking can be a tad of pain but not bad I was driving around with kids going Different places so the car was always moving to different spots but tbf usually I’d park it up and leave it in car park but because I was out and about with kids I think the lone hest walk to my car was about 10 mins so not that bad

We love the hotel we always go to this one its affordable, always clean , always quite , we are always comfortable and it's so close to everything. We have been to a few hotels around Llandudno and we found this one to be our favourite. If your looking for top top quality and room service ect go to a posh hotel if you want somewhere affordable and basic but comfortable and close to everything then this is your hotel! We love it and will be back soon thanks for having us ☺️

Nothing atall

Central to everywhere, staff lovely, very helpful especially Gemma who went above and beyond to assist me, as I have a disability, nothing was to much for her, have stayed here before several yrs ago, but it was a much nicer stay this time, and we had Fabulous weather so an all round excellent break would definitely book again.

Stayed in room 4, had lot of trouble trying to open and close the door, handle falling off, also the window coming downstairs a dead seagull which was attracting flies really desperately needs a good clean around the hotel, would be quite off putting to new guests, also needs attention to detail in the bedrooms, wallpaper hanging down and damp patches but believe work is being undertaken soon, beautiful building,but staff make it there accomodating

Before we booked we knew we would not get perfect, all.old Victorian buildings have there problems , Hotel is quirky, and needs a bit of DIY , like window in bathroom needs fixing coming away from frame , black on the grout in shower . Lady was absolutely lovely at reception, And tea , coffee , biscuits on arrival. Great location . Would definitely go back again .

Small family friendly hotel close to the pier and arcades and only a short walk into the main centre. We had the top floor family room which is actually quite big with a full bathroom. Lots of stairs though so no good for disabled as no lift. Breakfast was served at the Post House hotel just down the hill which was excellent food. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return

Parking! It’s free street parking which is great but we had keep driving around to find a space and eventually got one 3 streets away. Luckily we only had 1 small case to carry. There was more parking closer to town but it’s all only 90 minutes stay
