Amazing location. Direct across the the road from the beach. Right near the high street with lots of shops and places to eat

One of the plugs didn't work in the room and doors into hotel are bit fiddling with opening in different directions. Ramp to hotel not currently in use. So if you have a wheelchair or buggy it's a bit of a challenge.

The room was beautiful, the breakfast was delicious the staff were absolutely wonderful

The ramp outside the hotel was blocked off too many steps to climb to get into the hotel not good for someone with mobility issues

We arrived to early to check in so sat in bar area with window view and ordered food. Very nice! When we did check in was given a room which was not what I booked so spoke to them,showing what I had booked this was promptly rectified. Our room was double,bay window, with two chairs ideal for my mum. The bed was extremely comfy, shower was very powerful.the room was clean and stocked up. (Perfect) Breakfast was excellent! Had choice of cereal,cooked breakfast. We did have the Sunday Carvery which was delicious. Hats off to the chiefs! Was lucky to get parking space over the road after 2 trips round block.which then stayed there till leaving. The staff are lovely,friendly and very helpful! They go above and beyond to help.

Wheelchair ramp would of been ideal,however for us personally we did manage mum was able to do few steps. I then brought chair up.

Breakfast was A1, well cooked, hot with a massive choice from fruit juices to the food itself. The toasters were very slow but what`s a few minutes when you`re on holiday? The room was bright and the bed comfy. The room was refreshed each day with beds made, refreshments topped up, etc. etc. Car parking was a major problem for me as my wife has a mobility scooter which I would have had difficulty with if needing to charge the battery. Remember it was a bank holiday and the Victorian Festival so I couldn`t park as close as I`d have liked to. The restaurant served really good food at competitive prices, We found the staff to be really pleasant and efficient at their work, really helpful as well.

My one and only problem was the lack of convenient parking. Nothing the hotel can do about that.

The position was great! The room was bright, airy & a good size. Public rooms were very nice and bar service was good with reasonable prices e.g. 175ml glass of red wine £5.50. The breakfast was excellent with good choices and beautifully cooked.

The shower flow was a little haphazard. It would slow to a drizzle sometimes but then increase suddenly, sometimes with cold water coming through and sometimes very hot.

Excellent location, Staff very welcoming. Husband & I had a lovely little weekend there. Room clean,the bed was so comfortable after a long day down the beach & around the town. Bar area very friendly atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay Thankyou.

Not fault of anyone! only downfall for us was that our room was nearly above kitchen area & it was a gorgeous but very hot weekend therefore room constantly hot! But there was a very good standing oscillating fan which had a timer on so that helped at night with window wide open.

Stayed here with my daughter in October during the school break. The hotel is very good, clean and comfortable and the staff are responsive. we loved the room 114 which offers great views of the sea and pier. Watching the sunrise each morning was great. the room was very clean and adequate appearing recently decorated. The breakfast was plentiful and the dining area quite smart. All in all it was a great stay for us and we would stay there again! Thanks!

The tv was small and only had terrestrial channels which didn't bother me too much. The shower was faulty but quickly repaired by the manager when I informed him. Thanks!

Smooth running of hotel, very clean, pleasant staff. The beds were comfortable. Particularly liked the decent branded tea, coffee,(room) heinz sauces, kellogs etc(breakfast) . Very generous amount of tea/coffee etc in the room, although there are never enough milk cartons for me, so I take in my own. Decent toiletries, hairdryer provided. Easy access & decent lift. Breakfast fresh.

The room was not the one I picked on line. Although very clean, it needs redecorating, esp the bathroom, & there were no pictures on the walls, making it seem a little like a hostel room than hotel. This was exacerbated by the view over the rear of the hotel, whereas I had picked a front view room, with bright decorated bed covers. Would have liked fruit /continental option with breakfast.

Restaurant good, location good, hotel good, new staff throughout, making changes over next 12 months looking forward too see the new changes next year 😀

Breakfast area,not refilling items when running low having to ask staff ,customers not adhering to the numbered tables,very hot in Breakfast area Still coming back next year, manageress has surgested positive changes in the next year 👏 Lounge needs refurbishment,chairs,tables they have become dated but still comfortable.
