I booked this to attend a birthday party at a venue on the high street and the location is ideal to be within a few minutes walking distance. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Checking in and out were both a very easy process.

The lift is very small and fits two people at the most with bags, so we felt very uneasy in the lift at check out when the lift stopped on every floor for other guests who had pressed for the lift, to give us unhappy looks as they had not been able to be accommodated. Our room had a large dent on the bathroom door that looked like something had been thrown against it with a gap that allowed light through in the mornings. I don't really see the need or use of a wet room bathroom on the third floor with the lift issue, but the shower did not drain well when using and the floor would remain wet for quite some time.

Location great, at the end of the promenade. Easy access to town centre, restaurants & bars. Great Orme just round the corner. Staff very pleasant & helpful. Plenty of choice for breakfast, either hot or cold. Bedroom was a superior double with huge comfy bed. Bedroom was big with a big shower room with a corner shower that could be a tight fit for a larger person. Everything you could need for your stay, iron/ironing board, coffee maker, hairdryer, shower gel, shampoo, bottled water, eye masks, ear plugs, shower caps, slippers, TV. The only negative on our particular room was the view, literally overlooking another buildings brick wall & window.! Shower

Great location and practically next to the pier. Very modern looking and swish vibe. Very clean rooms and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Beds were comfortable and cosy. Food was really good and a nice range to choose from. Great ramp access for anyone who requires it with prams/wheelchairs etc.

The lift is small and takes a while but I appreciate it is an old building. Although it's an old building you can hear other residents walking around in the middle of the night. Loo was dripping in the basin and more noticeable at night. Also the fridge was noisy as well at night. I did ask the maintenance to come and have a look but the toilet and fridge seemed to be fine during the day. Asked again to see again as I checked out as overall a really nice place to stay. Just would be perfect with those factors I identified above.

Would have liked the towels changing at least once during our 6 day stay and also a quick hoover would have been nice, invest in a Henry

Very nice hotel positioned perfectly for our stay. The staff were very pleasant, chatty and friendly and the room was lovely, although very hot. Thankfully there was a fan that we used which helped us keep cool.The breakfast options were plentiful and the presentation was really good. The breakfast room was very clean and tidy with tables being spaced out to allow plenty of room. The terraced area was a very nice addition and the furniture on it was kept clean. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend the Belmont to anyone looking for accommodation in Llandudno

Unfortunately, the parking situation is very hit and miss. We drove around for about 20 mins trying to find somewhere to park that was near to the hotel. We managed to get a space, but because of our struggle, we did not use the car for fear of not being able to park up again on our return. Also, the hotel is non smoking but the guests in the room next to us were smoking on their balcony and the smoke/ smell was coming in through our window. We did mention this at reception but they explained that the non smoking only applied to inside the building but not on the balconies or terraced area. Personally, I think it should be totally non smoking because of this issue.

Thoughtful little extras you could expect from a 5 star hotel including Elemis products, eye masks, vanity kit, ear plugs, iron with ironing board and a fan!!!

Wonderful location, few minutes to pier and also to the tram station for the Orme. Fabulous views from our hotel balcony. Nice to have somewhere to sit with morning coffee. Friendly, attentive staff and management that go above and beyond. Great variety of breakfast choices, catering for vegan too. Well selected bar area that also serve Crisps, nuts and Pizzas. Although we didn’t have a dog with us. They are Dog friendly, doggy goody bags for your four legged friends, doggy sausage available at breakfast for them too. Separate dining room for guests with their dogs. Very clean and modern, lots of little extra touches. lift available. Ramp access available at property too. Arrived at 9.30 am and staff stored our luggage and did the same on day we checked out till Afternoon. Would highly recommend and definitely look forward to staying again when I return to Llandudno.

Right from our warm welcome, all the way through our two night stay up and up to us checking out, all the staff were friendly, helpful , and courteous. The hotel was clean, well presented, breakfast was lovely with a great menu. We have stayed in a good few b&b's and without question this was our favourite! I loved how it was dog friendly (we didn't travel with our dog this time) but you honestly wouldn't know that dogs could stay as it was unbelievably clean and tidy. 10/10 for a fantastic stay.

Drinks in the bar were pricey (but standard for type of premises and location) £17 for one pint and one large wine

Room was well positioned for the views, Bathroom was lovely with a big bath and shower this was all clean The bed was very comfy and clean Thoughtful dressing gowns provided and face towels. Great selections of tea and coffee. Staff were all really friendly and polite from the reception and bar staff to the cleaner, all very welcoming.

Minor details really. The kettle needed de scaling The coffee maker had residue still stuck around the nozzle and we couldn't get it to work or find instructions (this was probably just us as we are not used to coffee machines but wanted to try something different.) It's thoughtful to have one and a kettle, too, though. The room would benefit from a few touch ups here and there where people have scuffed the walls it didn't put us off but it ls always nice to see things looking fresh, bit we would stay here again. The hotel was very convenient and it was nice to sit out with a drink and catch the evening sunshine. No parking which is understandable in Llandudno. It was clean and smart. The bedroom had all the facilities you would expect and was very clean and nicely furnished. It was well maintained. The breakfast was good and nice service. Very dog friendly too.

No summer quilt available so had to bring my own. A sheet was provided. Bedroom tiny and very hot. Could not open window more than a few inches. It did have a fan. The mattress was too soft for my liking and my back suffered.
