This hotel has a great location to the Promenade with only a few minutes walk and a few minutes walk in the other direction to take the Tram up to Great Orme mountain. Great buffet breakfast, all tasted so nice and set you up for the day ahead. The staff were all very nice but one stood out in the 4 days we were there and it was Alannah on reception. Her personality and customer service skills were second to none. A lovely, friendly, helpful girl all round. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you Alannah 😊

Some parts of the hotel could do with a spruce up. Pity they don't have a lift as there are lots of stairs to the rooms and we saw a lot of elderly people struggling with the stairs 🙃 Room 14 needs a new mattress as it has a spring shooting up in the middle of the mattress 🤔 As its the summer time the outside area has lots of tables and chairs bunched up together, not appealing to sit and have a drink outside. Tables and chairs needed a good clean. Separate from the inside, towels and sheets in the room were very fresh and spotlessly clean.

Centrally located for Llandudno. The pier and town is a few minutes' walk. The staff were lovely. Breakfast was great. The bar was comfortable and the room was spacious. Dog friendly and seats out the front of the hotel to sit in the evening

We arrived on Saturday and opposite are late night bars and club. The room was hot but we had to close the window because of the noise. Even then you could hear the shouting. When it was time for the club to empty out they all headed to the kebab shop opposite and were still noisy at 5am. Obviously this is not a reflection on the hotel itself but the location being so central

We liked the building and the location was good. The breakfast was very good, plenty of choice of juice, cereal, fruit, plain yogurt, also bacon sausages, eggs, black pudding, hash browns, tomatoes, mushrooms and baked beans. The baked beans were hot which was excellent. The first cup of coffee was excellent, the second was not as good. Only ordinary tea available, no green or herbal tea. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms nicely decorated, with chest of drawers and wardrobe - we changed rooms as Saturday night we got little sleep due to all night revellers! The staff were friendly and helpful.

Apart from noisy late night drinkers from other premises which is not the fault of Rose Tor Hotel, nothing to complain of.

Very central location - one row back from the sea front hotels. Great little place, absolutely love the mismatched furniture - traditional hotel. We had two double beds in our room, mattresses weren’t the comfiest but that wasn’t a real issue. The bathroom needs an extractor putting in ideally as it gets pretty steamy in there. Breakfast was great - the kitchen staff were lovey. I got to the cooked breakfast station one morning and there were no eggs (wasn’t an issue really!) and the chef happened to be walking by - spotted and immediately went in and rustled a couple up and put them straight on my plate! It’s not a fancy place - so don’t expect that it is however really charming. We really enjoyed our stay there and would deffo go back. On the parking front - you get 90mins on the road outside the hotel, parking is free on the streets behind. As a heads up - you’re opposite a number of pubs, meaning that sat nights are loud - but given we were in the pub, wasn’t a problem for us! All round good stay - thanks to the staff, we’ll probs be back!

The hotel is ideally placed for the promenade and shops.There is free street parking nearby albeit a short walk away, and overnight parking outside the hotel if spaces available. All the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help ensure our needs were met.The room was large, comfortable, clean and warm and the buffet full English breakfast was plentiful and of excellent quality, especially the bacon & sausage which were very tasty. We have no complaints at all about the hotel & staff and we would definitely book again.

The hospitality - amazing welcome and great breakfast. Some of the rooms were lovely. Bar area was a great meeting and entertaining space.

2nd floor smelt of smoke as you went through fire door fro. Staircase. Bathroom in room 14 smelt of smoke. Room walls are paper thin. No decaff coffee available at all. 1st night (fri) bar was open until 1am.. 2nd night (sat) returned to hotel at 10.45pm and bar area. We had older teenagers with us and the reason the hotel was picked was so we could still chat as a group which we weren't able to do in the other pubs due to children being underage. However, would I go back? Absolutely. The owners/staff were so friendly. I would just make sure I chose one of the better rooms not on 2nd floor and asked for timings of the bar on advance.

The staff were exceptional, nothing was too much bother for them,they went above and beyond to make our stay fabulous!! The family room was huge, clean with fabulous view of the orme! The breakfast was excellent and so tasty,lots of choice! There were board games for kids in the bar area and adults too,which our little one loved! They love dogs,nothing too much for them either to keep them happy! Excellent location for town centre, the Orme, and beach/pier. We are most definitely going back again!

Parking is free around the area if you are happy to walk a few hundred yards . The room was basic but for the price excellent . The breakfast however ..... was outstanding . Its fair to judge any place by the effert that goes into breakfast so lets .... The dining room is lovely , spacious and immaculate . Breakfast is buffet with fruits in bowls to cornflakes to a full english ........ and everything was cooked to perfection . The people who run the place offer a discount and ill be taking it up with them as i fully intend to stay here again . I cant see how any other place could better it .

We have stayed here before and would stay again. The staff are really lovely and take care in ensuring you have what you need. The breakfast is delicious! The lady in the kitchen works very hard and clearly takes great care in her work. I am GF and they made great effort to cater to my dietary requirements. The rooms are quite basic but this is reflected in the price. We have always had a very comfortable, warm and peaceful stay here.

Perhaps more attention to supplies in the room, but this was easy enough to sort by asking staff for extra bits, it was no trouble.

Breakfast was amazing.Cooked breakfast buffet was 10/10. Sausages amazing! Various fruits ,yoghurts,cereal,muffins ,spreads available. Bar reasonably priced, and well stocked. Staff friendly and helpful. Good checkout time. Luggage room available.

Can only speak about the budget room we stayed in, no shelves/cabinet in bathroom so nowhere to place toileteries. Shower cubicle also had no shelving to place shower gel, shampoo etc.All can be easily sorted quickly and cheaply to make the room a lot better.
