The location is amazing and the views from Room 41 are stunning. The breakfast was top notch the dining area (conservatory) has beautiful views aswell. The hotel is a beautiful building with stunning wooden staircases and the old pictures are great to see hanging along the walls as you climb them. It is dog friendly.

Not so much 'didn't like' but there are a lot of stairs to get to the top rooms - absolutely worth it for the views though. The hotel was very quiet on arrival - againn not a criticism, but even a little music or a radio on in the background would give the place a bit of atmosphere. We did think we may have had a drink there in the evenings, but the bar was almost always empty and it was very quiet so didn't feel that inviting but must stress - that didn't spoil the enjoyment of our stay. Bathroom was bit small but had everything you would need.

The best view in Llandudno. In a wonderful setting, over looking the pier and beach one side & the mountains and the sea the other. Myself, my partner and our children stayed over night here in the quadruple room and we all wish it would of been a longer stay. The staff are so friendly & helpful, the building it’s self is just stunning, the rooms are decorated to a high standard and are very spacious. Breakfast was like the rest of the stay, wonderful. A freshly cooked , beautiful breakfast made to order & a buffet of pastries, fruit , cereals etc. Able to help your self to orange / apple juice , milk or hot drinks. The location is absolutely perfect , it is so peaceful it was the reset I had needed and more. There is also a family of goats close by who stroll past every now and then which is lovely to see. All in all I couldn’t recommend staying here more , there wasn’t 1 thing I could say was even slightly less than perfect . We were also able to store our bags safely after check out so we didn’t have to haul them round until we left. We can’t wait to return again soon.

That we didn’t stay longer !!

Lovely building, well maintained and appointed. Staff efficient and friendly. Great views from my bedroom and from most of the public roors and outside spaces. Easy, free parking on the road directly outside the Hotel. Bed was very comfortable. Excellent value for money.

I was on the third floor of a tall building with no lift. Luckily, at 78, I had little problem with this but the hotel, Booking.com or both, should have made this clear. I know several people who do not consider themselves disabled, and so do not always ask about access, who simply could not have got to this room. It would not bother many people but, for me, 8:15 is late to start beakfast so I didn't stay for it.

The staff were great and the hotel was lovely and characterful with amazing views over Llandudno. Our room was at the back of the house so we had a garden view but this wasn't a problem as it was just a base for one night and we were too busy out and about exploring the lovely seaside town. Breakfast was lovely and freshly prepared, and the room it was served in had great views out over the bay. There were several comfy seating areas in the main reception area with books and games, although we didn't need to use them as the weather was glorious. The hotel is within a couple of minutes walk of both the cable car and the tram up onto Great Orme and a 5 minute walk down to the beach, although it is on a steepish hill so the walk back is a bit of a slog, but the views make it worth it.

The hotel was clean and staff are lovely. We really enjoyed the cooked vegetarian breakfast and unlike other places we have stayed we did not feel "short changed" on this in comparison to the meat eating guests. Lovely location also looking over Llandudno and the beach and surrounding countryside.

The heating was on but our room felt cold perhaps due to the single glazed windows and also it was February. However we managed to remedy this to some extent by keeping the curtains shut throughout our time in the room and when we left for the day. Apart from this the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable with all that we needed.

Friendly, welcoming & helpful member of staff on arrival. The room was aired, very clean & well stocked with tea, coffee, toiletries, etc & was serviced every day, the view of the bay was beautiful. The breakfast was amazing with many choices to suit every taste. Katy, her mum, the chef and Peter together with all of the housekeeping & reception staff looked after us exceptionally well.

The room decor & furnitue was slightly dated but sill funtional making for a lovely quirky room.

Very nice and stylish hotel which is excellent value for money, I couldn’t believe it was one of the cheaper options available. It’s on top of a hill so you get stunning views of Llandudno from outside the hotel. Staff were pleasant, rooms were nicely decorated with a Victorian theme throughout. Being dog friendly was a massive plus.

Parking is non existent. We had to park down below at the pier which didn’t feel very safe for an overnight stay, and with the hotel up a big hill it was not ideal dragging our luggage to and from the car. There is a road you can park on outside the hotel but finding an empty spot is like winning the lottery.

As always a great stay, views to die for, a breakfast choice out of this world, they cater for everyone, veggie, vegan etc, the only downside is the lack of parking, but if you can walk the hill there is usually a spot. Our room was really nice with a bath and shower over the bath, beautiful dual aspect sea view and over the town, we could watch the world go by. No lift meant the top floor was an effort for me but anyone fitter wouldn't have a problem. Can't wait for the next stay in September.

I totally love this hotel.... The view is the best in Llandudno, I was a bit out of puff walking Up the hill but that's cos I'm chubby.. I stayed in room 23 with not only a sea view but a view of the whole of Llandudno.. Love the old antique furniture.. How a hotel used to be. If U want a sanitised modern hotel go to a Travelodge or a Hilton..Staff amazing.... BREAKFAST INCREDIBLE.. COMFY BED NICE THICK MATRESS.... I would come again and try one of the three sister hotels.. I cannot thank staff enough for a memorable few days away..

Nothing..

Beautiful Hotel. It retains all its original features. It has lots of places where you can sit and chat or just relax. There is a well stocked bar if you fancy a drink. This hotel is up behind the Grand Hotel and the views from the sea view rooms are just stunning. Our Room was very clean and warm. The Hotel staff can not help you enough to help make your stay a pleasure. For Breakfast you can choose a continental or a cooked breakfast and lots of fruit and choice of yoghurts and they are really lovely. Thank you for making our 10 year wedding anniversary such a pleasure and for looking after us so kindly we loved it so much,we stayed two more nights ! Best regards
