Nice friendly staff and a lift as my mum is disabled. Lovely breakfast with a huge variety, both English breakfast and continental.

On arrival I couldn't get on the car park with my disabled mum and had to leave my car a long way away. Then go and try and find it about 9 pm. All very upsetting as have to take a lot of accessories for .my elderly, disabled mum now.

Arrived at the hotel with my daughter and grandson the first thing I noticed was how close it was to the beach, inside the reception area was spacious and very elaborate with marble floors etc., we booked in no queues or chaos the receptionist staff were very helpful and polite, we took the lift up to the room, it was nice to feel the cool air con after our long journey. The room had the best view of the beach sea and the pier. The room was very comfortable with a large bathroom and walk in shower beds comfortable, as was the cot provided for my grandson, welcome pack had good selection of teas coffee hot chocolate and bottled water with some very nice biscuits. The restaurant was very large and again very spacious proving every thing you needed for breakfast, lunch and dinner spotless the staff were a credit to the hotel. All in all I would definitely recommend this lovely hotel. Out and about lots to do and see shops restaurants and bars all polite welcoming for families, couples, and solo travellers and dogs

This hotel has undergone renovation since our last stay. It is simply beautiful. The bar, restaurant and reception area are amazing. The room was larger than expected and spotlessly clean. The shower was hot and powerful and towels clean. A complimentary tray for tea and coffee making was available with the surprise addition of bottled water, biscuits and hot chocolate, all of which were replenished daily. Meals in the restaurant were very well cooked and presented. Breakfast was very tasty, with both cooked, toast, juice, fruit, yoghurt and cereal. The location of the hotel is excellent, close to the pier and shops/bars/restaurants and right on the promenade. The bonus is that they have their own car park which is free. The property Is disabled friendly with ramped access from the car park, lifts to floors and walk in showers. The icing on the cake is the super friendly staff, who go the extra meal to ensure your stay is enjoyable. Special shout out to Claire who quickly changed our allocated room to ensure there were no steps to negotiate as I have walking difficulties. It was a great weekend away and we will definitely be returning.

There was nothing that needed improving. I believe refresh of bedrooms is the next project the hotel will be embarking on.

The reception and restaurant were lovely and modern, all the staff we met were really friendly and helpful esp the lady with pink hair serving breakfast

Not much choice on the continental breakfast compared to a premier inn breakfast, carpets in the corridors and round the lifts were filthy and felt like we were in a different hotel to the downstairs, room decor and furniture look quite dated, bathrooms are odd in the fact you have a high rise toilet and they are all wet rooms but look like they should be in a care home, lights and sockets were not near the bed either which was inconvenient

Public areas including the restaurant has a lovely modern and tasteful feel to it, which is complimented by the wide scape of views and the hotels location near to town. And the staff are warm and vibrant people.

The small twin room with seaview, is reached by a warren of stairs going up and down, this would be hard to change as it seems there are 2 buildings now connected. We didn't mind the fact that there was an invalid wetroom, but the shower regulator fluctuated down to cold, and appears to need replacing (sorry that we did not have time to report this, as we had to leave urgently for home). But the room was otherwise very adequate and quiet.

We liked the location of the hotel, the friendly staff and easiness of parking within such a busy town. We would go back but with a different room for the family and with a sea view which we thought we were getting. The bonus was the hotel was quiet when we we there.

There was a huge gap under the room door which had to be blocked with a towel. The room was on a slant. We didn't like the shower area in the room as prefer a bath for our daughter. This was designed as a disabled person's room not a family room. The carpets were not hoovered properly and quite a lot of things found on the floor such as earring backs, small springs etc.

This is a beautiful Hotel in a prime location on Llandudno sea front . I stayed over New year for 2 nights & as a single female traveller felt safe & was very well looked after during my stay . The staff were super professional even under the duress of being exceptionally busy due to the holidays & I was made to feel very welcome from beginning to end of my stay . I had a sea view room , a twin & I was thrilled at its size . The beds were super comfy , the room was spotless , great bedding & towels . Lovely well stocked tea tray with extras like water . The restaurant was stunning as was the foyer & honestly the breakfast was superb . The staff from front desk , house keeping & Dining rooms were superb . Like a well oiled machine . This is not far off being a 4 star hotel . I for one would stay again & in fact I had such a good time that I would have stayed on if I could . The views from the restaurant were stunning . The menus look exciting & fresh and if I could have done I would have booked in but they were fully booked with it being new year . There was a minor issue with my room on arrival I was given a courtesy coffee & upgraded . A really superb stay . Thank you to all at The Esplanade .

On the day of our stay there had been a burst water main affecting the whole of the Llandudno, Colwyn areas and beyond. Before we arrived we had three phone calls from the hotel during our car journey - two to say they had had to cancel our online booking, but the third one was to say they could now reinstate our booking, which we accepted as we were almost there! Unfortunately, there seemed to be a muddle with the online booking and in the end we had to pay extra for a seaview and a breakfast, (which we thought was included in the original price). At reception we were given bottled water to drink and to make tea/coffee in our room etc and were given as many bottles of water as we requested. The view from our room was lovely with views to the Great Orme, the Peer, the bay and the Little Orme. After a walk up the Great Orme we found an old traditional pub called The Cottage Loaf along a side street in Llandudno town centre just five minutes walk from our hotel and there we had a lovely meal. In the morning the cooked breakfast in the hotel was hot and very good. The breakfast buffet was also well stocked. The restaurant area was bright and well furnished with a quiet unobtrusive atmosphere. Through the windows there were views out to the promenade and the bay.

Lovely hotel, very friendly staff. Lovely breakfast and location is amazing. Drinks tray in room was much appreciated. Views from the room were amazing, we did book a see view. Amazing value for mum for a quality hotel. We will be vising many more times, thanks.

The only thing we didn't like was how difficult it was to find. We knew where it was but when we got there there was a large sign saing the goat restaurant but we couldn't see an hotel sign. It wasn't until the 3rd time we walked oast the beautiful frontage to the goat resteraut thar we saw a door on the end and when you bend down you can see the hotel name. It's needs to be bigger, you need to be proud of your hotel. Bathroom door handle was loose but was soon put right by maintainance.

My husband had an accident when there, resulting in a trip to A&E, as he had a large gash on the top of his head, the staff were great, first the night porter who phoned for assistance, That was Anna who phoned for ambulance and then spoke to 111 service for us, Tony who arranged breakfast when we got back from hospital and Claire in reception who when hadn't seen us from when we got back until following morning arranged for Tony to bring us some breakfast in room as we didn't feel up to going downstairs. Everyone was helpful and made what could have been a terrible holiday into one that we enjoyed in the end. They couldn't do enough for us, and the accommodation was very good, clean and well decorated would definitely recommend.
