The staff were lovely and extremely helpful at every turn, food in the restaurant was outstanding and in a great location with parking.
The shower cubicle in our room was very tired and dark, big gaps around shower tray, worried it may leak. Whilst we love the irregularities of an old building, some thought could go into compensating for the slope in the floor so that we weren't sleeping downhill. The other room we booked was fine.

This hotel is a lovely old building in a good position. Our room was very clean & plenty of coffee etc. Bed was comfortable but only soft pillows. No interaction with owners but staff were cheerful & efficient, especially Joanne who was very friendly & helpful. Breakfast can order food items singly for £1 each. If using buses can get a cheap pass for a week. Recommend cheap & delicious Chinese takeaway & bakery - both close by.
Our requested quiet room was right next to the stairs though thankfully there were no noisy guests. Room small & basic - should put another bedside table. Vegetarian food disappointing & overpriced but restaurant is very popular so meat dishes must be better. Wifi regularly drops out

From the moment we arrived the staff could t have been more helpful. From check in to booking dinner and having my brother and sister in law join us as non residents for breakfast. The room was lovely overlooking the Main Street and the bed (although quite creaky and spongy🥴) was very comfy.
Internet wasn’t brilliant and no hairdryer in the room. There was a note in the stairs to ask for one if needed but it was too late by then! Neither issue would prevent me stating there again I would just remember to ask for a hairdresser.

It was close to the pier, castle, gaol, and local shops, pubs, and restaurants. We found a lovely Indian restaurant 5 mins walk away. and walked into the town after for a drink in one of the local pubs. However, it was quiet after 11.00pm, so there are no issues with noise. All in all, a good couple of days break. Staff in the hotel were friendly and breakfast was good. Would definitely go back. again.
The rear car park was quite small but there were other places nearby where you could park.

Central location, perfect for our golf society when we've played a couple of courses on Anglesey over the weekend for the past few years. Probably our go to hotel for most of the guys. Comfortable rooms but the seagulls have been a pain for the past 2 years because the old sash windows don't shut fully and even with earplugs you can't get a good night's sleep. Overall it's a decent hotel, I'd just request a different room next time if I was unfortunate enough to get the same one! Food is really good, all the lads were impressed with the evening meal & breakfast is good.
Lack of sleep due to old sash windows.

Lovely location. Characterful building and interior was nice. Staff were really great; friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our room was nice, and the bed very comfortable. The restaurant is great and the food really excellent. Definitely recommend eating here, even if you aren't staying at the hotel.
This is in no way a complaint, simply a comment: being an old structure, the building is quite creaky and poorly soundproofed. It didn't cause us any real issues, but one particular 'upstairs neighbour' appeared to be clog dancing late one night! We did NOT complain, or say anything to staff.

Perfect location, on site car parking. Staff were very welcoming and the food was second to none. Lovely size room. We chose to have breakfast there which again was cooked to perfection. Nothing was too much trouble. Would stay again
Would have preferred a proper shower rather than one over the bath, it wasn’t very powerful and you had to stand really close to the taps to get a shower. It didn’t put us off but would maybe choose a different room next time

Friendly staff. Facilities were comfortable, an old building so a bit wonky with low beams in places but this all added to the character. The home made food was delicious and plentiful. Would recommend and visit again.
Tv was too far from the bed, so we were unable to use the remote control. Also, the volume did not work as the handset was not compatible (only turned it on and off). Traffic noise could be a nuisance as no double glazing, but it is an old pub set right on the highstreet, so it is to be expected. Mind your head in places if your over 5ft 4in tall

Freshly cooked breakfast was very tasty. Good value room including breakfast. Good location for easy access to all of Beaumarais and also for trips to rest of the island.
Parking is tricky. We stayed 3 nights. 2 of the 3 nights we managed to find a space in the small car park to rear of hotel. One of the nights it was full. The hotel did say we could try coming back later in the evening, but we had to find somewhere to park in the meantime and so paid for the parking in the large seafront car park so was no point moving it by then.

The location was good with parking at the rear of the e hotel available but limited. The food choices and quality were excellent and the ability to have flexibility at breakfast was a novel and excellent idea.
The bath shower curtain was too long and gave problems. The staircase was difficult for anyone with accessibility issues. Bathroom ventilation was poor and the bathroom steamed up after even a short shower.
