Nicola and Eddie were lovely hosts, very welcoming helpful and accommodating. Our room was originally on the top floor but we were struggling with the stairs as we aren’t used to them at home. I spoke with Nicola and she was understanding of this and moved us to another room. When we came back later that day we found that our luggage had already been moved to the room for us, which I thought was a lovely gesture. The accommodation is so clean and tidy and they have it looking lovely with all the wee extra touches. I always judge a property by being able to walk around bare footed and definitely could at this accommodation. It is so central and close to everything you need, the pier is such a short distance away. The bed was so comfortable. The water pressure is good, which helped regarding shower. We didn’t take breakfast as we have family who live in Llandudno but what we saw it looked lovely. Nicola’s mother in law is a lovely lady too and full of chat. We really enjoyed our stay at The Clovelly and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Our room was to the front of the property looking over to the pier room number 5 it was lovely.

Loved everything about this fantastic, family run hotel. Nic, Eddie and Holly (who helped my husband create a new cocktail at the bar!) are genuine lovely, warm and welcoming people. Our double room was spotlessly clean, bed very comfortable and powerful shower a much appreciated feature. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, which also has plenty of storage and hangers and a side sea view. A perfect location, a few minutes walk from the pier and seafront coupled with an absolutely EPIC breakfast make this a fabulous value-for-money hotel (with parking!) at the heart of wonderful Llandudno. I have no hesitation in recommending this wonderful place.
Nothing!!

Polite and friendly staff, clean and presentable establishment. The room was spacious, clean, well presented, and looking freshly decorated. The breakfast on offer was of a good quality and plenty of options to have. All is fairly priced. Location is excellent, just off the main high street and just off the beach. Not far to walk for the beach and pier, and not far to walk for a variety of shops and restaurants. Highly recommend staying here as a base for visiting Llandudno and North Wales.

Everything at The Clovelly was perfect for us, the breakfast in the morning was superb, with what appeared to be locally sourced produce. The room we stayed in was lovely and cosy for me and my partner, and the en-suite facilities were amazing.
In all honesty, there was nothing about our stay at The Clovelly that we didn’t like, the only thing I’ll say, and the only reason I’m putting it is because we opened the curtains in the morning and noticed it, was one of the curtain tie backs just needed re-screwing into the wall, and that is literally it. Hardly worth mentioning to be honest, just for of an ‘in case you didn’t know’ kind of thing.

Host Nic and Ed were absolutely brilliant hosts they couldn't do enough for me. I was playing with my band at the Scooter Rally Festival (i got comp tickets for Ed and Nic so they both came!) so I had to bring my drums. So they wasn't in the car on display all weekend, they were kept under lock and key in the bar area. Parking was an issue because there was a Scooter Rally festival on, but Nic made sure my car had a space right at the front of the hotel all weekend! Great breakfast, banter the host and staff, couldnt of asked for more

From the moment Nic opened the front door we felt very welcome. The hotel has a warm and cosy feel to it ,the check in area being light and airy. Our room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed including complementary toiletries which smelt lovely and a well stocked hospitality tray which included hot chocolate and packs of mini gingerbread men, the radiators had its own thermostats which was good for us as we don't like our room very hot. We ate in the hotel that night. ,Ed, Nics husband is a chef and the food was equal to any restaurant. We spent a very pleasant night in the hotel bar talking to Nic, Ed their daughter Holly and other guests. After a good nights sleep we went for breakfast which did not disappoint alongside cereal, yoghurt and fresh fruit ,a freshly cooked breakfast was offered which was excellently cooked and used high quality ingredients. The hotel is situated quite near to the pier you can see the sea and the promenade from the front bedrooms and the dining room and it is also only 2 mins away from Mostyn Street with it's shops, pubs and restaurants. To summarise The Clovelly is a home from home , where you arrive as strangers and soon become friends.
Having to go home !

Our group was warmly welcomed, rooms excellent, comfy bed and plenty of hot water. parking a bit of an issue, £5+ if you have to pay! We had a splendid evening meal in the restaurant, (very good menu and vaue for money) again with excellent service. We will certainly book the hotel again should we decide to visit Llandudno again.
One of the rooms (top floor?) Guest had an issue with the shower? But they said it didnt detract them from enjoying their stay. Our room was excellent, however the view at the rear of the hotel was not as good as the rooms

Great location for the beach, town centre, pubs and restaurants. I was here for an event at Venue Cymru which was about 15 minute walk along the coast which was very nice. I came by train station and the hotel was about a 10 minute walk from the railway station. On arrival I was warmly greeted by Eddie who checked me in. My room was very clean, well presented and had everything I needed. Bed very comfy too! The bar is an added bonus which offers a friendly and relaxed place to have a chat with the other residents and owners. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic, one of the highlights for me! The hotel also offers evening meals. The real highlight were the owners Nic & Eddie and their excellent staff. Very friendly and dedicated to running a great hotel. They make it what it is. Hope to be back again next year!
Nothing, everything was great for me!

Great central location Very nice welcome on arrival by the local lady who really seemed an asset to have. All Friendly staff . The on site bar looked good and had an atmosphere. Overall things ran as they should.
It overall was a pleasant stay but there was some marks on bedsheets. The breakfast although quite good was more limited than our usual stay at other local guesthouses. It also lacked the character or features of some other places I've stayed in a similar or lower price range. Light bulb missing in lamp, went to reach for it and nearly stuck my fingers into the socket.
