Not the most modern hotel but it was spotlessly clean, comfortable and the breakfast was the best ever. Amy and the family made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The bed was super comfy and nice linen. Bathroom and shower working perfectly and again, very clean. Position of the hotel is perfect, 5 minutes walk to the promenade and 3 minutes walk to the shops. Its also on a pretty quiet road. Parking is at the rear of the hotel and a finely jiggled parking system worked out by Amy. No problem. Will definitely be back.

We stayed for a week and used the hotel as a base to explore north Wales so we were hopeful the positive reviews were accurate. They were. In fact, Amy far exceeded our expectations and was an absolutely splendid host. We have almost never experienced a host who has been so helpful. The breakfast is very generous, perfectly cooked and there is a wide selection to choose from. Nothing was too much trouble. Obviously we would rate our stay A+ and recommend it without hesitation. Many thanks, Amy, for helping to make our first foray into Wales exceedingly memorable.

Amy the hotel owner is an absolute gem. She is very welcoming, friendly and has an infectious smile. The hotel is a little dated but spotlessly clean and the bed and pillows were the best we've slept in away from home. The breakfast was lovely and made to your liking, Amy being very attentive offering extra toast, tea, coffee. There are spare t bags, coffee sachets etc at the reception if you need more in your room which was brilliant. We will definitely return and would highly recommend for a no frills comfortable stay.

The hotel is advertised as having a bar but unfortunately it is a bit of an unloved room that had a couple of optics and cleaning equipment behind the bar. It would have been nice to get a cold drink and sit in the lovely garden after a long day instead of having to go out again. I mentioned this to Amy on our last day, she said we should have just asked but it looked like it was something she didn't really encourage. I suggested she should just get rid or make it more welcoming and maybe put a sign up to let people know. That is the only criticism we had.

Amy is the perfect host. Always smiling and can't do enough for you. The rooms are fairly well appointed and kept spotlessly clean. The breakfast is excellent with the award winning hash browns. The hotel is perfectly situated for easy access to the town and many restaurants and bars.

Nothing not to like. Whilst there is a bar it is not staffed which is a shame as probably more guests would use it. Instead there is fridge with cold drinks and there are optics for spirits. We didn't use the bar but you put down on a sheet of paper what you have had and settle with Amy when you check out.

Breakfast excellent and plenty of choice catered to all needs on request. Location superb handy for sights cafes & restaurants. Room single small but well maintained extra supplies readily available on request. Had slight problem with close situation of shower to toilet as cut leg on sharp wooden corner but problem rectified immediately

Stairs not easy if you have a heavy suitcase as continuous turning corners but staff helped. No lift in property as advertised

Breakfast , including drinks , are ordered the day before from a long list of items. Cereal , fruit , yoghurts are on a self service basis. Breakfast can be as small or as large as you choose. Extra toast was offered too. The room was on the first floor , comfortable and very clean and with a good en-suite toilet and shower. Set very close to the main beach just 2 streets away it is an ideal location for shopping and sightseeing.

Everything was just right.

Breakfast was superb, freshly cooked and good quality. Location was ideal. Close to all town's amenities and a short walk from beach and pier. Also short walk to Happy Valley, Cable car station and also to tram station for the Great Orme. Plenty of choice in eating places near by. The place was exceptionally clean and the hostess was delightful. She couldn’t do more to make your stay successful It also had private parking which is a bonus in Llandudno.

Nothing we didn’t like - it couldn’t be faulted.

The breakfast was brilliant. Choice was great and the host could not do enough to insure all was ok for you. Nothing was a problem. The host was always happy and happy to help with anything you needed.

A shelf in the shower would of helped but not important. Other than that all was very good.

Amy is a paragon of hospitality, she's very invested in making her guests feel as comfortable as possible. I stayed at Craig-Ard during the second week of October, the central heating wasn't on yet and it was kind of cold, but she gave me an additional warm blanket and a heater. The location of the hotel is incredibly convenient: the promenade, the Great Orme and the bus stations are all very close.

Many things I liked, our host Amy was fantastic and very easy to talk to, very happy and very helpful. She wanted to make sure you were enjoying your stay. Parking at rear of hotel, lovely dining room, our rooms were spotless and well appointed. Decent wardrobe space and drawers, very comfy bed, wonderful shower, we were all very happy. The front garden so beautiful.

Not many things I didn't like. An improvement point could be better signage from car parking spaces to guide you to reception. Once you know the way it's very easy, though first time, we nearly ended up in next door haha.
