We loved it, excellent location for visiting Bodnant Gardens, Conwy and beyond. Beautiful room in keeping with the historic nature of the farmhouse, very comfortable bed, Welsh fabrics and comfortable armchairs. Lovely view of the estuary.
Booked the previous day which led to confusion about check in. More information about the room required, it turned out there is a full size fridge, microwave and cutlery and plates- enough for a simple meal. Also confusion about the inclusion of breakfast. We got the room at a very reasonable rate which apparently did not include breakfast. This was not clear. No hairdryer.

Lovely setting and very pretty . Immaculate and clean. It also smelt lovely 🤩 Lovely staff and felt very genuine .High quality ingredients for food and a very generous welcome pack. Over all great value for money and fabulous .
I loved my stay and I am only feeding back constructively. I took my dog and it was tricky to find bins, maybe directions to them or more of them would be helpful. You collect your keys from the farm shop but it isn't dog friendly and came as a suprise to a lady I met with a dog .Maybe warn guests first or organise pick up from a different area .However considering the high standard of rooms it is really nice that dogs are allowed .Very appreciated .Thank you . I had the fish for dinner and I could tell the quality was great but I was a bit disappointed with the meal.No veg , potatoes , and it felt like a jar poured over a slightly over cooked fish . Sorry but feed back was requested . Over all thank you it was a lovely stay and the breakfast was lovely 😍

The grounds the Farmhouse is located on is absolutely lovely, surrounded by beautiful nature. The artisan shop and the restaurant made it extra special. The staff are friendly and helpful also. There is a lot to see and do within the Farmhouse including the gardens, cafe, and restaurant / pub.
I didnt travel with a car, and the 15 minute walk to and from the train was quite intense, possibly dangerous. I am am experienced walker and even at that didn't feel totally safe to walk along the road. There is no local bus, and it was difficult to get a cab, so, in that regard, travelling without a car to other tourist sites was a challenge.

Lovely, charming setting, with beautiful views, comfortable rooms and nice welcome baskets. The Hayloft and the Furnace cafe were very convenient with good food and good service. The shop contained a good variety of local produce and again, was very convenient. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly and were only to happy to help with any requests. The barbecue night was a lovely relaxing evening with good food and drinks.
Internal fire doors were a bit noisy and could wake you in the early hours. Some doors needed wiping down.

As a solo traveller just staying 2 nights, The Farmhouse at Bodnant Welsh Food was a perfect location with very good signage from the road, easy parking and a café, restaurant/bar and farm shop all on site so I didn't have to venture far for any meal that I wanted while I was there. The farm shop also provided essentials if you happen to forget anything. I sampled breakfast, coffee/cake (in the café) and dinner (in the restaurant) during my stay - the food was excellent. The staff were really friendly and very helpful and the welcome 'hamper' in my room with biscuits, fruit, crisps, fresh coffee was a lovely surprise. There was also a variety of teas provided. The location was also very convenient to LLandudno, Conwy and Bodnant Gardens (National Trust) - all just up the road!
There was honestly nothing that I didn't like but worth mentioning that The Farmhouse building itself only offers accommodation and I can see for some that breakfast not being available until 9am (when the café opened) would have been a little late - for me it was perfect. Breakfast is also NOT included unless you have pre-booked it as an additional extra when making the room reservation and was about £15 for a 'hot' breakfast and a coffee. I felt the single room was a little 'pricey' for it's size - very compact and a little dark even on a sunny day and think it would possibly have felt cramped for longer than a couple of nights.

The location was fabulous - lovely view and absolutely perfect as we were attending a wedding reception on-site. The toom was spacious.
The electric car charger wasn't working - and only found that out after having parked slightly precariously to try and get into a position where it was accessible. On returning to our room after the wedding reception, another guest had locked the door and we were locked out. After a while a staff member managed to open the fire escape at the back for us to use - but another member of staff had taken the main keys home so this did take quite some time. Breakfast was amazing but quite pricey in addition to the room. It could be made clearer how to get the room key - a few of us were going to the farmhouse building where there weren't any instructions, and then finding the staff in the farm shop almost by chance.

We loved our stay here in a beautiful location with easy access to everything we needed in North Wales. The on site Farm shop, Café and restaurant were all really nice and really handy after a long drive into Wales. We had a great view from the room and it was the perfect start to our weekend away. There was a wedding event on during our stay, It is a beautiful setting for a wedding. The rooms are far enough away to not be disturbed by this. The snacks and crockery provided in the room are great, you would be able to take your own cereal etc if wanted to save on breakfast. A really nice touch. The bed was really comfy. The restaurant food was very tasty.
The room was very hot and opening the window was not enough to cool it down, Maybe a fan in the room would be handy. However we were not in there long so it wasn't a major problem. Potentially fans available if we had asked but the shop was closed so not sure where we would have asked.

The room was spacious and the view over the river is spectacular. The property is within beautiful surroundings and was easy to find from Mochdre. I needed to leave before breakfast was served. A lovely basket of Welsh cakes, crisps, fruit and coffee was left for me which I very much enjoyed. The restaurant was closed Monday and Tuesday but I was able to find a couple of lovely spots to dine within a short drive away. I also visited Bodnant Gardens next door to see the laburnum arch in bloom, which was well worth the entrance fee (free for National Trust members). I paid a discounted room rate and if this offer were to come up in the future, I would definitely stay again.
Not something the farmhouse can influence, but it would be great if farmhouse guests could access Bodnant Gardens safely on foot - a safe access path through the property to the gardens would be appreciated, rather than having to drive the short distance or attempt to walk along the side of the main road between the properties while negotiating fast-moving traffic.

Comfortable clean room plenty of space in room, gorgeous old entrance hall very well in keeping with it's original roots. Complimentary goodies very welcome. Slept well in comfy single beds with fresh linen. Breakfast in morning was very nice.
Although there is an A4 size request that guests consider other guests when they come in and use the stairs and rooms on the upper floor, we were affected by it sounded like a family party with older children or teenagers coming in and out several times which did keep us awake, we'd had a long journey and needed sleep. Maybe when guests check in they could be told by the person booking them in about keeping quiet as possible, shutting doors quietly as the sounds really carry in this house, internally not externally. One other issue is the green light on the ceiling monitor was flickering all night, think the bulb on way out, the other monitors were fine and doing their job.
