Absolutely gorgeous surroundings and beautiful interior, rooms and lounge/restaurant. Great location so close to the town too, everything is within walking distance.

We would have really loved if breakfast was included as it’s an extra £15.00 a day for either a full Welsh breakfast or continental. Instead though we opted to go to the gwydyr cafe on the corner as we prefer a lighter breakfast anyway. That’s the only thing we’d change- everything else was absolutely perfect, our evening meal in the hotel on the final night was equally lovely, we ordered off the bar menu and there were lots of vegetarian options too.

The reception area was clean and very welcoming. We booked a pet friendly room and it was really comfortable and clean. Usually pet friendly rooms aren't always the best rooms but this was perfect. Clean, comfortable and a huge bathroom! Rooms were modern and nicely decorated. Housekeeping was friendly and efficient. The room was very warm but there was a fan in the room, which was very welcome. The bar area was very large, with comfy seating. Bar staff were very friendly and welcoming.. Would definitely stay again.

Late Sunday lunch.. It wasn't the best and a tad rubbery. It was as if the meat had been sat for some time and was very thin. I think the lunch should have been stopped earlier as by 6pm it wasn't the best, I'm afraid. The vegetables were nice, but the chanteray carrots could have done with being cored. We only ate there the once as it put me off trying again.. Maybe I should have tried something else as I'm a bit of a stickler with a Sunday roast and very particular and shouldn't have risked it!

Great location to have as a base for all North Wales adventures and Betws-y-coed has a range of excellent pubs and local spots as well. The Sherpa bus stop is one minute and gets you to Snowdon in 40 minutes. The bar and restaurant were great, and our room was clean and comfortable The best thing was the staff, they were all so helpful and friendly and really made our stay. Particularly (and apologies if I’ve got their names wrong) Cheryl, Charlie and Aled who gave us lots of tips and were generally fantastic.

The carpark is incredibly tight! But there are lots of public car parks and street areas you can park for free

Lovely spacious room with a street view. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk in the room. The bar area is lovely with huge sofas and comfy chairs to relax in Amazing location, right in the centre

Disappointed with breakfast. For £12.50 you have to choose what you want the day before. It was a very small cooked breakfast with sausage being no more than chipolata size. Just one of each thing. No hot buffet or option for more. There was a selection of cereals and toast if that's you're thing.

Hotel was warm and inviting with lots of areas to sit and relax so catered for all - families, groups and couples. Excellent location and base for Snowden and surrounding area. Beautiful setting in the middle of the village with lots of amenities either side. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff were amazingly friendly and very helpful and we couldn’t have asked for anything more! Food was lovely and the menu choice covered all our needs.

Property parking was limited - on a first come/first served basis. We got a space for the first night but had to park on the road the second night. To be fair, there was plenty of parking elsewhere so not a hardship really.

The hotel appears to have been refurbished/decorated since our last visit and it’s very good, especially the change to the reception area. Prices considering it was a bank holiday weekend were reasonable. We are in on several nights and the food was very good and were good portions. Breakfast taken once was great with a choice of how eggs were cooked. It’s our third stay and we’d book again. Negatives, a bit of excessive noise from some guests, and that’s all.

Not much really. Parking is tight but we knew that, prices for drinks are close to London figures but again expected in what is a very popular location.

The hotel is in a superb location, right near the train station and main parade of shops and restaurants in Bets-y-coed. The hotel is really good, has a nice restaurant and bar area downstairs, reception staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean, spacious and well stocked with coffee and tea facilities. The bed was super comfy, we had great nights sleep during our stay.

Our room was at the beginning of a corridor, and it didn’t seem like the sound proofing was very good as every time someone went into their room via this corridor it was noticeable. There was some noise from the music that is played in the area out the front of the hotel. This was turned of at 10:30pm so not a massive issue in the grand scheme of thing, but something to be mindful of if you like an early bedtime! All of the above is very minor so don’t let it detract you from booking this hotel!

The hotel was amazing. Great location to go to different places but a beautiful village to explore. If you like walks/hiking, you will find many literally on your doorstep, including the beautiful Swallow Falls and the Fairy Glen. The hotel itself is of a very high standard, and we enjoyed an afternoon tea on our first evening there, which had a lovely selection of sandwiches and cakes. The staff were always happy to help and couldn't do more for you. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were decorated beautifully. The food was exceptional, and they had plenty of drink options. You could choose to dine in the bar area or book the restaurant, which did have a slightly different menu. The hotel is also dog friendly.

The hotel didn't have a lift, which was a struggle for some people with mobility issues. However, I was told there isn't enough room to have one put in. And the car park was a little small however there were loads of places to park within the village at just a short distance away.

Good hotel location (in the center of Betws-y-Coed) with pretty much modern and clean rooms. Parking slots for cars are available for free.

Small things: 1. We were living in room with double bed and IMO it feels narrower then usual one, which feels a bit uncomfortable. 2. Parking was available, but unfortunately during our stay it was hard to catch available place (all slots were almost busy in the evenings). Parking area is a bit narrow as well, which makes hard to park car, when it almost fullfilled.

The hotel was beautiful. Loved the log fires in the dining rooms as this felt very cosy and welcoming. The location was amazing. The food was very good. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

My husband didn't like the fact that it was a double bed booked , but it was actually two single beds pushed together. Sometimes, you don't notice this if there's a topper mattress on covering both beds. That was his only criticism. But it didn't spoil our stay, and he didn't have trouble sleeping, lol!
