Well located. Good food. Staff flexible when we needed only a light breakfast before a sporting event..

Twice the showers & taps stopped working, which was reported to staff. It would have been helpful to be able to book a table for the Saturday evening either that morning or afternoon. It would have been helpful to be able to have two breakfast options, with a light one at a lower charge. Fortunately the staff were very kind and allowed some of us to get this without charge as others in our party paid the full rate including cooked breakfast. With the need to eat more healthily this would be better for everyone.

The burger was exceptionally nice as part of the hotel's dining experience, and the grilled fish was lovely for my partner. We also enjoyed the location a LOT. The authentically Welsh dishes like the catch of the day were lovely. The hotel room was lovely and the bath was comfortable. There was a fan provided too which helped with controlling the temperature... We liked the apartment style kitchen too because it saved us money for snacks and breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed in the apartment building rather than the pub itself, the room was really big and clean and in a great location inside the city walls.

It was a really hot time of year so the room and the bathroom did get very warm, we didn’t ask for a fan as we didn’t realise how warm it was going to be until after we’d showered in the morning by which time it was kind of too late to bother.

Our room in the Town House Annexe was a good size, as was the bathroom. Well appointed and very clean. Central location, close to the river, Castle and tourist railway.

No parking on site, though the hotel provided free space in the public car park for the duration of our stay. Meant a short walk up hill to the Town House. The pub opposite was noisy on the Friday and Saturday night until about 10.30 pm. Otherwise, a quiet road while we were there.

The location within the castle walls. The decor. The beds were very comfy. The size of the property was spacious. The parking pass was helpful and only a few minutes walk from the house.

We were woken up each morning around 6am due to the road sweeping or bin lorry or beer delivery or bottle collection from the pub across the road. There was nowhere to hang towels. There were no instructions how to use the appliances and they weren’t straight forward.

Very comfortable. Great facilities in-room. Super-friendly staff. Beautiful breakfast. Very relaxed and personable atmosphere.

No dedicated area at door to drop off bags/check-in or allow disabled passengers alight. No foyer or similar public/communal area for groups to gather.

Couldn’t open any windows and it was hot. There was a fan but I wanted fresh air. We were on the top floor. I knew there were no lifts but should have asked for a bedroom downstairs. With lots of bags, it’s a nuisance carrying them up.

Very well priced for a town house. Had everything we needed and more. Highly recommend

There is a pub out front that gets loud at nighy. This didn't bother me as I have ear plugs when sleeping. But could be a pain if you don't

The location of the room is excellent. It is in the centre of the town. Also, the room is really clean and the bed is very confortable.

Our room is on the 4th floor. If you have a big luggage, it will be difficult to handle and get to the room.

I made a mistake with the date when booking and they managed to get a room for us. All the staff we met were extremely friendly, my wife is disabled and they were all so helpful and made our stay special. I would give a 100 out of 10 rating if it was possible. The room with disabled access was amazing 8and the food was also very good.
