Ease of check in/check out. Parking on site as well as EV charging, although I did not use. A nice outdoor dining area. Excellent self-service kitchen and dining facilities. Room was OK for what I needed and was reflected in the price. Location was good for my needs. As I arrived late in the day, I met the host upon check out. Good experience as we chatted and made me feel welcome and I was happy to share that I was happy with my stay.

The room could do with a refresh. Although the room was spotlessly clean, there was a definite air that the room had not been used in a good while. Maybe worth considering opening the windows before guest arrival would have helped. The bathroom had everything needed for a single person-single night stay. But again the shower head may have been clean, but looked old and discoloured. Nothing could be done except replace the shower head. An electric shower (hidden installation so did not encroach the small cubicle) worked OK despite the low pressure, although again a bit old fashioned approach. A Power shower installation would transform the experience. Sink was quite small but in proportion to a small bathroom.

I liked the facilities available, such as ability to wash clothing in communal kitchen and having a fridge in the room. This is great for keeping milk fresh for tea. I liked the overall feel of the place and the proprietor was friendly.

Some guests were staying upstairs somewhere and made a lot of noise when they first arrived and then made even more when they returned sometime around 2300, when they decided to talk very loudly about their evening till gone midnight. They obviously did not understand the 2200-0700 period of consideration implemented for the benefit of the other guests in the building, which I think they would have agreed to when booking. I did not know whether this warranted a call to the proprietor at 2315 hrs so I elected to put up with it. Having since spoken to the proprietor, it's clear that I should have made the call, then the matter could have been resolved that evening, and I could gave slept soundly.

Stayed in the superior room which is larger than the others and well worth the extra few pounds. Great location near family, nice bathroom and good shower. Only downside is how difficult it is to get a booking as this place is always fully booked. Will definitely stay again if I can get a space!

Availability of the rooms, it appears they have block bookings many months in advance which limits ad-hoc availability

Check in was self service which suited me as I arrived late in the evening. The room was clean and everything I needed for a one night stay. There was a microwave in the room and there were added touches such a hot chocolate included in the tea and coffee facilities. In the bathroom there was a cosmetics pot, which was a lovely touch. It was great that parking was included in the price and that it was onsite. I had a brief encounter with the owner when I was leaving in the morning, he seemed polite and wanted to give the best service. I would definitely stay here again when visiting the area. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

There isn't anything that I didn't like.

Although our stay at Lattice Lodge was brief we found the room to be comfortable and clean. The shower was good and the water hot. We didn't make use of the kitchen or the lounge (which looked very comfy). There was good Car Parking and even EV charging points at the property. We felt safe in the area and there was no noise during the night time. Access to buses into the Town Centre was convenient and the buses ran very frequently.

Location of the property was convenient for my needs. Shop across the road to buy essentials. Several food outlets within 5 minutes' walk. Nice hot shower. Despite my room overlooking the road, it was far enough away from the road that normal road noise didn't intrude too much.

Pillows soft and thin.

Being able to use the kitchen facilities to make an evening meal. Microwave and fridge in room was very useful. The location was convenient to use the local buses into town.

The basin in the ensuite bathroom was very small. The fridge froze our lettuce!

This property is in immaculate condition. With a great kitchen that was big enough for me and my friend to cook at the same time. Much better than having to consume takeaways for a week! Also free parking, easy access and a short walk from the town centre. The sainsbury directly opposite also came in handy! Thanks for a great stay!

Once we'd found the kitchen, we were impressed with the facilities including fridges and freezers. There was also a fridge in the room so we were well catered for in the cooling department. The bed was comfortable and we slept well enough. There is no breakfast but that's the deal - a comfortable night's sleep and access to other shared facilities without human intervention, and it works pretty well once you get the hang of the lock on the front door.

Minor quibbles - the room isn't large; we had to work out how to plug the fridge in; the kettle is very small.

Martin responded very quickly to any questions I had. He also helped me with the ev charging. The location was perfect for my work and very close to customers. I did not get to use the guest kitchen etc, but I will next time. I will definitely stay here again
