Staff were excellent. Location great overlooking sea but by hospital so buses to everywhere (including airport) easy walk to town/ferry port if buses not your thing. Good food in restaurant had an early start which the staff helped with. Enormous smart tv and coffee machine

I think I had the worst room with view of a wall and so far from reception the WiFi wasn’t effective. No uplifting decor old photos and empty shelves on the common parts made me feel it was a bit expensive for this (but I think a better room would have avoided these gripes)

Breakfast was served in the sea-side restaurant. Coffee/Tea was served freshly brewed and free for extra. Hot breakfast (Full Scottish Breakfast) was served on your preferred order and good value. I especially would like to mention is a quality of Croissants and cold food (ham, boiled eggs, tomatoes) served at the buffet counter, which was really good and we very much enjoyed! Breakfast of the Lerwick Hotel is recommendable!

Facility was slightly dated but the bedding/towels were nicely provided. My friend found the cleanest of the bathroom was a bit poor.

Shower access hard to get into (no hold bars) and operate the flow and the temperature control. Door key hard to lock and unlock. Towel rack heater too close to toilet causing burn when touched if not covered by a towel. Dinner meal having limited selections that did not change during week.

Been before, bit dated in some areas but all clean and tidy, staff excellent, food very good well cooked and presented by staff. Bedroom large, bathroom good and modern, great shower/bath

Only thing didn’t like think my room was about as far as you could get from reception bar etc. However got my steps up!!

Room was spacious, clean and comfortable (if a little dated) I was very lucky and got an upgrade from a single to a family room. Shower was amazing and the bed was very comfortable. Had a great sleep lovely and quiet. Breakfast was superb and the staff were fantastic and very attentive. Had lunch and dinner there as well and I couldn’t fault it at all

Overall very happy with my stay but the decor is a bit dated in the rooms but as my bathroom was very modern and stylish I think they are going through an upgrade process

Breakfast Good View Good - unfortunately the weather wasnt! Room good on the whole but we noticed a few things - the radiator was positioned too near the toilet. Whilst the radiator was good for keeping the towels warm I was bothered about sitting on the loo without burning myself! Think the format for the bathroom was badly thought out!

The staff were all exceptional. The location is very good with beautiful views of the bay from rooms window. The restaurant serves very good food and I recommend the fish and chips.

The rates were high for the quality we received. However, there is not much choice in Lerwick.

Lovely quiet part of Lerwick close to waters edge yet next to airport bus stop and short walk from harbour. Very relaxing with helpful staff

Misty weather.

Location is great, parking is easy. Restaurant and bar very nice.

Rooms abit small. Bathroom very small and shower had bad water pressure. In room phone not connected.

The Hotel had a friendly, relaxed feel to it. Our room was very clean, spacious with a wonderful view that I had requested. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Food in restaurant was delicious with excellent service. The included breakfast was also great, the only place in Scotland over a few weeks where I was offered kippers in the breakfast menu, they were truly delicious!

We only booked one night not longer !
