Look no farther. This is the place you should stay. It is absolutely one of the best B&Bs we have ever been in. Both Diane and Kieran could not have been more welcoming and helpful. They even gave us short rides to a dinner restaurant and to the beginning of a hike, which was quite nice given the light rain. The breakfast is better than what you can get at most fine restaurants, and there is a variety to choose. The rooms were totally comfortable, and the lounge was a place with such a spectacular view, we decided to spend an entire afternoon relaxing there. You can also get off at a rail station within a three minute walk of their home if you don’t take the rail one more stop into the town center. We strongly encourage you book at least two nights and we would’ve loved to have stayed three or more.!

Staying at Hillrise B&B was the best part of our Irland trip. We booked two rooms with two bathrooms and we could use the big living room with a fancy terrace. The style of this house close to the beach is amazing. Each detail reflects the good taste of the owners. The owners are the most friendly and cheerful couple, who gave us very useful tips about the activities in Portrush. The breakfast, a combination of a buffet and a la cart meals, was fresh and tasty. The carrot cake with nuts was delicious, I was grateful to get the recipe. Strongest recommendation for this fantastic B&B!

Dianne and Kieran were amazing hosts at a terrific property. During a great breakfast, they shared insider information on our planned excursions for each day. I really believe they were enjoying the beautiful (unseasonable) weather as much as we were! The room and shared portions of the house offered so much: comfort, views of the water, and central location in Portrush. The hosts made us feel at home, even sharing a glass of Prosecco on their anniversary! If we return, we would look forward to staying with Dianne and Kieran again.

We spent 2 great nights here. Our room very comfortable and the common area and deck overlooking Portrush outstanding! The host and hostess were very kind and together provided a wonderful breakfast. The egg Benedict was the BEST I’ve ever had. PS if you love to walk take their advice on going to see the Giant Causeway.

Parking a little tight (but free and on site)and there was a little road noise at times if the rooms window was open.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hillrise and it was a very positive experience. From the moment we arrived, Dianne and Kieran went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The accommodation, coupled with exceptional service, made our stay truly memorable. The breakfast requires a special mention and also free kisses and cuddles from Rocco and Brentley the doggies of the house. Highly recommended!

Hillrise B&B is a beautifully upgraded home overlooking the strand toward Port Rush. The keepers have done a wonderful job with upgrades. The beds are comfortable. The hospitality lovely. And the food is delicious. We had a balcony and seating area in our room, but there is a large common area with comfortable seating overlooking the bay to Port Rush.

Nothing. It was all wonderful. Only downside was needing to leave.

Gorgeous property situated up on the hill with breathtaking views. 15 minute walk to town centre. The room was newly renovated with high end finishings. Breakfast was amazing and our hosts were so lovely. They were very welcoming, gave lots of travel advice, and were so kind. One of our best stays in Ireland!

I am sure other places are lovely to stay in Portrush, however I would recommend you look no further, this bed and Breakfast was the very best experience we have ever had in a bed and breakfast and our stay is something we will always remember with great fondness. If you are looking for a party, look elsewhere as this located is a quiet part of town, the bed and breakfast is so peaceful and relaxing, after a day out, sit on the deck for a relaxing drink. The hosts went above and beyond our expectations, a wonderful couple, very warm and kind. Our rooms were kept very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was Incredible! I opted for the creamy eggs and smoked salmon all of the mornings we were there.

I can not think of a single thing that would have made our stay there any better.

Lovely rooms which are spotlessly clean and Diane and Kieran couldn't be more welcoming hosts! The views from the first floor living area/outdoor terrace and breakfast dining room are spectacular. Really excellent breakfast - fresh, high quality ingredients, cooked to order and enough to mean you can skip lunch!

Hillrise is in an excellent place to stay. The hosts are very warm and welcoming. The bedroom was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely with lots of options on offer. I would highly recommend staying at Hillrise.
