We loved everything about the experience from start to finish including of course the atmospheric gardens and inside wall art pieces - and their creators, the hosts See below...

...This is not a criticism!! The fact that there was a security camera in the.glorious dining room might have been indicated somewhere in the Booking.com boomf but we didn't see it so we thought it might be better to have a small sign displayed somewhere indoors reminding or telling guests that their images (and sound?) was being recorded. If a sign exists, we didn't see it. Thanks again to the hosts xx

Where to start... I liked everything at the Art House B & B. Christine and Alex were excellent hosts and were incredibly welcoming. I was only staying one night but they were happy to chat and give suggestions for dinner (if you get a chance the Chickpea and Lentle Balti at The Cripples Creek Inn was excellent) The house was incredible! If you are at all interested in art you'll love this stay. Everything thing felt unique and purposeful, from the paintings and sculptures around the property to the little enclaves of plants dotted throughout. Additionally, the breakfast was perfect and you couldn't ask for more. I will be returning (Especially, if there is the opportunity to do a creative class there)

Nothing. Honestly, I had no faults. Perfect stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Art Bed and Breakfast, and it was an experience I won't soon forget. From the moment I arrived, the hosts made me feel incredibly welcome and at home. Their warmth and hospitality were unparalleled, and they went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect in every way. The house itself is wonderful. Every room is thoughtfully decorated with stunning paintings and interesting furnishings, each piece telling its own story. The art-filled environment added a unique charm and a sense of serenity to my stay. It felt like I was living in a beautifully curated gallery. The garden was equally breathtaking. Lush, vibrant, and maintained, it was a peaceful oasis. Strolling through the garden, I was greeted by flowers and the sounds of birds chirping. It was the perfect setting for morning coffee. To our hosts thank you so much for taking your time to talk to us and explain your art process. I can't recommend the Art Bed and Breakfast highly enough. If you're looking for a place that offers both comfort and inspiration, this is it. A definite 10 out of 10! Can’t wait to come back!

Everything was great!

What an amazing building! The best way I can say it, it's like staying in an art gallery that's adapted for accommodation, and with an extremely friendly curator. Christine is friendly and welcoming without being a "helicopter host", so the stay was as stress-free as it could possibly be. The breakfast is continental-only, but the jams are all home made, and the strawberries were fresh from the garden, and some of the best I've ever tasted.

Really, there's not much. The omnipresent cat kicked off my allergies, but I had medication, so that was fine.

We had a very comfortable stay at the Art House B&B, which was ideally placed for our one-night stay en-route further south. The building was interesting, as were its surroundings. Our friendly hostess, Christine, was very welcoming and went to extra trouble to get us extra vegetarian items for our delicious continental breakfast.

Just a suggestion to perhaps provide a bit of shortbread or a couple of biscuits in the room, to go with the tea/coffee that can be made upon arrival (which was most welcome after a long drive).

Great location, handy for both Monmouth and Abergavenny. A couple of pubs within 5 minutes drive. Plenty of local walking. House, studios and courtyard full of art work (not all by hosts). Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast buffet was great (eggs, pastries, fresh fruit etc). Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Shower in our room (pine) a bit small and difficult to regulate temperature.

The whole stay was amazing. The hosts did everything they could to help us have an amazing stay for a wedding which we had down the road. The breakfast was also great with lovely fresh fruit and pastries and the grounds around the house were stunning. I love that it’s filled with the hosts artwork and sculptures. We’re already planning a trip back but this time to do a bit of walking and exploring. Couldn’t recommend more!

Nothing!

All round great experience - and to see Alex a Christine’s work was a bonus. And to talk art was a pleasure !

The fact that Booking.com double booked our room on the Friday night despite confirming all dates abd details . No response to requests for an explanation _- had to pay £150 for a room 15 miles away!

The owners were very accommodating regarding our arrival time. The room was beautiful, we stayed in the pear tree room, and the grounds and location were stunning. Breakfast was continental, plenty of it and all fresh. If we were ever back in that area, it would be top of our list for checking availability.

The only issue for us was the size of the shower as it was a little small.
