We liked everything. Visiting family who live across the road so a perfect location. This pub is great, clean, extremely well maintained, welcoming and nice sun terrace. The bedroom was lovely, comfortable, well furnished and clean. Lovely crisp bed linen and a comfortable bed. I had a really good night's sleep. Bathroom was modern and clean. Breakfast choice was good quality and delicious. Special mention for the waiter working today Monday 12th May. He was friendly and welcoming. Will most definately visit again. The pub has good modern facilties and deserves to do well.
Nothing to not like. Keep doing what you are doing.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was of very good quality and there was a good range to choose from. It was nice that you could chose any dish from the breakfast menu for the standard breakfast price. The beds and linen were very comfy. The bathroom was nice and spacious.
Maybe it's because I stay in hotels less than before but the corridor could get a bit noisy sometimes when people came in and out of their rooms and as they chatted on the staircase. Maybe the doors in the upstairs bedrooms can be better noise insulated as they aren't behind fire doors or internal partition doors.

What a find!! The staff were welcoming and when we called ahead to say that we would be arriving at 7.30pm they advised that the kitchen closed at that time, but that they could send a menu and take a pre-order. We ordered roast dinner and it was delicious! The room was right at the top (2nd floor) and really lovely. Something to note, the steps (especially to the first floor) are very steep so this is not a place for anyone who struggles with stairs or is unsteady on their feet. There is no lift. However, the room was fabulous - spacious and spotlessly clean with a huge ensuite! The floorboards are creaky and the mattress was quite soft, but we slept really well. Breakfast was fabulous with lots of choice. I had eggs benedict, my daughter had pancakes, both were delicious. There was no charge for bringing our dog. This was an ideal place to stopover on our drive down to Southampton. About 30 mins from Southampton, 40 mins from Stonehenge, 20 mins from Salisbury. We will definitely stay again when down this way. Thank you!

We booked our room a couple of weeks before our stay as we were cruising from Southampton and realised there were going to be 5 ships in port so we expected lots of travel delays and didn’t want to take any chances. The location of Woodfalls was perfect for us as en route from home but only 30 minutes from the port. We spent a lovely afternoon at the nearby New Forest Lavender gardens before checking in. When I booked, there were no double rooms left, only a triple, so we were unsure what to expect. We were checked in by a friendly member of the bar staff who escorted us to the room which was at the top of the Inn. It was 2 flights of stairs to reach the room, but well worth it! The room was essentially a double with a seperate area off to the rear with a single bed, it would be perfect for a small family as the single area almost felt like a seperate bedroom but with the advantage of being enclosed. For us, it was a perfect area to charge our iPads (lots of sockets!) and stash our bags. Being in the eaves, we were worried the room would be hot and stuffy but the window is a velux, and we were able to open it sufficiently to get a nice breeze in the room…..there was also a fan, but we didn’t need to use it. The room was very clean and freshly decorated. The en suite had a shower and a bath. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room (and biscuits!) We ate in the restaurant that evening ( I can recommend the pizza! ) and in the morning we had one of the best breakfasts I think I’ve ever had in a hotel. I chose the veggie breakfast and it came with sausages, sweetcorn fritters, avocado, egg, mushrooms, tomato, beans, hash brown potato and a choice of toasts. We were given a large pot of tea each, which makes such a difference too. All in all, this was a great place for us to spend the night and we would definitely consider staying again next time we cruise from Southampton.
Nothing at all, but be aware there are no lifts and you need to climb stairs to the rooms. We might have struggled with getting cases up the two flights, but we only took rucksacks up so it was no problem for us.

Very friendly staff that made you feel welcome. The room was of a very good size and the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant has a good selection of food available and over the weekend they have a slightly larger range with a specials menu, all meals are of a very high standard and always a plate full. The breakfast is more than just a full English and isn't a warm buffet but instead it's made to order. The location of the Inn is ideal for exploring the New Forest and the surrounding area, the staff gave suggestions of places to go and things to see.
The only thing I could complain about is the size of the cups but that's just my personal preference that I like a mug of coffee.

We stayed 8 nights and throughout the staff were very friendly and attentive to any request. Breakfast food and coffee were great. Especially enjoyed the breakfast baps! The room was a good size and on arrival was spotlessly clean. The bed comfortable and we got a good nights sleep. Overall this was a very pleasant stay and good value compared to others in the New Forest area. And the beers good!
Room makeup service was missed on one day and the cleaning routine in the bathroom was a "light touch". Noticed due to our "longer" stay. Our stay was over the Eater Weekend that may have been a factor.

We stayed at the Woodfalls Inn for an evening on our way to the Isle of Wight. We stayed in the family room. It was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. The two bathrooms looked as though they had been recently remodeled. There was plenty of tea, biscuits, and hot chocolate in the room. This is a small inn, and you check in at the onsite restaurant.
We were pleased there was an onsite restaurant as we were arriving close to the end of dinnertime on a Sunday evening. The staff was friendly but just very busy, and the food wasn't really to our taste. If you are just going for a drink and snack, it is probably great, but I wouldn't go out of my way to have a big meal here. We did arrive on trivia night, which was actually a lot of fun.

Very clean and the breakfasts in particular were excellent. Dinner very good and dining staff were very helpful and friendly
We were a party of 4 having a 4 day break but the bar closed at 9pm on one night and 10pm on the other. On the 9pm evening we were asked to go to our rooms at 9.55pm because the bar staff were leaving and another night it was 10.30. For a pub this seemed very unusual and disappointing. Also the bathrooms lacked shelves to put our toiletries on and there was only one beside light. Had these things been addressed we would have rated this property as excellent as obvious efforts had been made to make it an enjoyable stay.

Beautiful location and nicely refurbished. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Nice to have a breakfast menu where items can be freshly cooked. Breakfast itself very good. Great to be doggy friendly and ours appreciated a welcome doggy biscuit on arrival.
A little more attention to fresher filter coffee at breakfast would be great as it was lukewarm, and perhaps more continental options, such as pastries or fruit salad. One of our party said they were kept awake by some machinery/fan noise as the bedroom was above the kitchen. Only disappointment was the bar closing 40 minutes earlier than expected on Saturday night, so plans for a nightcap after a long drive were scuppered and there was no other way to get a cold drink (even non-alcoholic).

Great location - close to Salisbury and also close to the New Forest and cycling routes. The food in the restaurant was fantastic as was the breakfast. Room was a great size and very comfortable with a nice selection of teas, coffees and hot chocolate.
It didn't impact our stay too much but the room we were in (8) overlooks the carpark and two air conditioning units. As it was warm, with the window open there is a lot of noise whenever anyone walks or drives into the carpark because of the gravel and a fair bit of noise from the air conditioning but we accept that there is not a lot that can be done about either of these two things. If we stayed again we would probably just try to ask for a different room.
