Continental breakfast already set out and easy to get at whatever time you wanted to have it. If early leaving, easy to have breakfast first without waiting for Lulu. All well planned and comfortable. Spacious rooms. Lucky to have a bath after a long day's walk! Easy to find, just next to the railway station. Good pubs just up the road for evening meals. Not far from St. Bees church and the start of the Coast to Coast walk.

That we were on a top floor with so many stairs with two young kids. My kids had there room at the top of the stairs was a worry as my younger is 18 months was open set of stairs with no safety gate. We was told to be quiet cos we was on top floor as soon as we arrived. The outisde door locked on us we couldn't get back into the property I messaged the houst we was locked out all 4 of us lucky enough but didn't get a reply for over an hour so we left and drove home.

The room was spotless and had a huge bathtub in it and a shower with jets. It's the old train station building which is cute. The trains stop in the evening anyway and I didn't hear them anyway from the room. The lady who owns this place is a gem, it's spotlessly clean and the self serve breakfast had a lot of options. A good place to start the coast to coast walk from if you arrive by train to st bees.

What a great little BnB in the middle of St Bees. Louise (Lulu) was very helpful and easy going. Although breakfast wasn't included in the price there was a free "help yourself" continental style breakfast products available in the breakfast room. Cooked breakfast could also be ordered if required for an additional charge. Bed was very comfy as were the pillows.

A warm welcome. The host was very friendly & helpful beyond the call of duty. Excellent communication, replying promptly to messages. The house is charming, comfortable & in good taste. The continental breakfast options were comprehensive & of good quality. The location is fantastic, in the centre of the village with but quiet in the room. The pubs & village shop are a couple of minutes walk. Lovely to stay somewhere where the host really cares. Recommended.

Lulu's was perfect, a converted railway station house right next to the railway which we used to travel up and down the coast and yet still quiet as the trains stop running about 9 pm. Our room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and we slept like proverbial logs. Lulu laid on a continental breakfast with ham, cheeses, eggs, toast, yoghurt, porridge juice, coffee and fresh fruit. Lulu lives in the property so is always on hand to help with any queries and is so helpful and lovely.

There was nothing that could be improved, had a perfect stay.

Comfortable bed, cozy little room with a homely feel, what’s not to like. We specifically loved the help yourself breakfast - this allowed us to get up very early, make ourselves some meal and leave early to explore. The owner is a very lovely lady too!

Just a note - the train stops just by the window, so earplugs would be good to have. As a wife of snoring husband I didn’t care much.

Comfortable and well-appointed room with everything I needed, great location for my needs but also close to the beach and village centre. The host was really friendly and relaxed. Self-service continental breakfast was varied and plentiful.

Friendly greeting. Clean, comfortable. Left to your own devices - ie breakfast (plenty of choice). Handy for walking to the beach/coast path. Right next to the railway station (no noise though).

Tricky to find - but just think - next to the railway station!

Louise was very friendly and welcoming. A lovely surprise was the thoughtful complimentary breakfast selection which was in the room. The little dining table area in the second room was unexpected too and proved to be a cosy place to sit. The fridge and microwave in the landing were very useful additions to the room. Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are hoping to return soon as Lulu’s is an ideal location for the Western Lakes. Louise is a wonderful host who has thought of everything. Thank you for a lovely stay.
