The lovely hottub was ready when we got there, stunning views and stunning church next to us. Little path that takes you to the beach in 2 minutes from the cottage!! It was so nice walking around the Pembrokeshire coastal path, the fire made the place so cosy, everything was provided, towels, kitchenware, robes, tellie with Netflix aswell!

The stove wasn’t working which was a shame but we could manage with the small oven that was there, the roof window blind was broken so the sun would wake us up in the morning (not that bad as we could watch the stars in the night) Not much bad to say about the place it was lush!!

The apple store was exceptionally clean, the little details were really appreciated such as having a good amount towels, the stocking of the kitchenette, the bed was really comfy and the hot tub was clean and easy to use. The property is literally a 5 minute walk to a little beach and the pembrokeshire national park trail - which is a really fun and beautiful walk

Even though heaters were on it was still cold on arrival. Bathroom blind needs replacing as Mouldy and roof blinds didn't Work properly. Not a problem as easy sorted but noticeable. Also cobweb above bedroom lamp

Peaceful, quaint little cottage. Surrounded by nature and close to the beach. Beautiful surrounding area.

Some areas of the bedroom and living space was slightly dusty.

Beautiful cabin, was perfect for our winter getaway. We loved relaxing by the fire in the evening.

Location excellent. Setting in woods and “ private “beach beautiful.

Kitchenette tiny. Awkward to use as located under the stairs. Ancient 2 ring plug- in hob which has seen far better days. Fridge missing most shelves. Sink has built in hob ( !) which on closer examination is marked do not use but appears to be live. Not up to student digs standard. This Both velux blinds faulty and do not fully close. Surfaces clean but overall property not really clean. enough. Lovely property in gorgeous location but very much in need of a refresh.

It’s in a very peaceful location with amenities that are close by, lovely and clean with a quiet private courtyard and great hot tub

Location was good.

We were cold as couldn't light the fire as no fire lighters.

You get a full cottage with spa bath in a pretty special location. Private enclosure, all the important things (with perhaps one exception) were good, i.e. bed comfort, two pillows each, effective hot water, good TV, etc. There are elements of luxury/quality in the fit-out, a quality rug is on the floor, a decent grade and comfortable leather lounge, the high quality of the bedroom furniture and side lamps etc. Despite the shortcomings mentioned below, as is usual, you get used to the place then enjoy the property for what it is, the spa batch is a pretty good experience!

On arrival, my wife sat on the outdoor sun lounge to take off her shoes before entering the cottage, then went flat on her back as it collapsed to the ground. On inspection, the metal catches/studs/fittings holding the legs ‘in place’ are bent and damaged: unserviceable, and obviously had been so for some time. No injury arising, but will the next guest be so lucky? So we called the contact number (Stay Pembrokeshire) to report this as a hazard. The local gentlemen showed up in short order, was shown the problem, he said something like, “it won’t be difficult to get a new lounge, I have to get back to setting up the marquee for the wedding we are hosting on the weekend, sorry about any noise”. Nothing was done in the next three days before we left. We also mentioned the missing knob on the combined sink/stove: “That one does not work, we have a new stove unit ready but have not got around to installing it”. This will also address the observed rusty state of the hot plates. The kitchen itself is small and pretty awkward, with the bench extending in under the stairs to the mezzanine. As a result, don’t be too ambitious in your cooking plans. The blinds on the velux skylights are at, or past, their useful service life. The left one was hanging out of its track on arrival, after fiddling with it, I managed to get it to sit in place 3/4 closed then did not touch it again! The right one can retract without notice in the middle of night, which it did twice. This matters because with the long summer days the light will beam into the bedroom early in the morning. Could not find a broom or other tools to keep the cottage tidy except for the dustpan for the fireplace.
