The hotel is very well located, in a beautiful area with many restaurants nearby. I want to highlight the cleanliness—at all times, the staff was seen cleaning to keep everything spotless. The receptionists were very friendly. The online check-in and check-out process was quick and efficient. The breakfast was basic but good. Overall, good value for money.

It wasn’t something that affected our stay at all, but the pillows were comfortable yet small. However, they made up for it by providing enough pillows on each bed. I also would have liked the towels to be a bit larger. There were some small paint details, but the cleanliness made up for everything.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was about a mile away from Grandview Medical Center but not on a busy street, so it was in a very quiet area. The hotel and the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. They do provide breakfast in the mornings, such as waffles, biscuits, gravy, cereals, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit and muffins. I spent three nights there and I have no complaints at all. I would like to thank the staff for being so friendly and helpful. I did book through booking.com and got a great deal for my stay. The confirmation number never showed up in the hotel's computer but the manager and the desk clerk was kind enough to give me that price anyway.

When we first arrived I checked the room and the mirror was dirty and I mentioned it to the front desk and they fixed it right away. Very convenient for our travels. We were 10 minutes away from the wedding we were attending. The breakfast wasn't all so bad either.

We decided last minute to stay in Birmingham before a ballgame and were thrilled with our choice. Quiet and safe part of town with good restaurant options nearby. Breakfast was good and that's always a nice touch. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

No rooms were available on the first floor because they had not been cleaned, even at 5:30 pm.

The room was clean and spacious. The desk clerk at check in was new and not as knowledgeable as the morning staff. The bed was comfortable and the shower was clean and warm. I didn't have breakfast this time.

The guests in the room next to me had their television on all night. It was pretty loud. I was really tired and didn't want to complain, but it seems like the walls are a little thin. I could hear the highway, but again, I was tired so I slept well.

Bathroom vanity counter top was just a bit too low but it was not bad. Nothing to do when we got back from hospital.

Bathroom was very small. Could not close the bathroom door if you were sitting on the toilet. Just too small for a comfortable experience. Parking lot was small also, not enough spaces if the hotel was full. The breakfast could use an upgrade. No hot foods, no condiments...the word"covid" has worn out it's welcome. We stayed in another Choice hotel in a different city and they had a full wonderful breakfast...we are so tired of hotels blaming lack of breakfast and lack of housekeeping service on covid..... Also had to pay $35.00 for an early check in....so if this is the case, are hotels going to refund you money if you check out before the check out time???
