The convenience to all the trails and having the outside grills to cook on. The screened in porch was nice to sit on and enjoy the views of the lake also. Woodside grill has an awesome breakfast menu, and the staff were friendly and really nice. All the food we had was great, my 8 year didn't even complain. The peir was also nice with it being literally in the backyard. We went out and looked stars after dark, and it was beautiful. We loved the Christmas tree and Wreath that was set up!

We loved it all! The cottage was beautiful, the kitchen had just about everything we needed, and the views were stunning. The staff was so helpful and friendly- they even went out of their way to make sure we got fresh linens and any extra housekeeping we needed without disturbing our pet when we were out to breakfast. Which is another thing we loved- Woodside breakfast was included and we took advantage of it daily. It was delicious and the staff was wonderful. They even have lovely seating outside if you have a dog with you, and brought our guy a bowl of water when he came with us. Sunrise, sunset and fireworks were all amazing to watch over the lake. The beach was a quick drive (or bike ride if you don’t have a lot to haul) away, but even on a busy holiday week we had no problem finding parking at the pavilion.

Hard to say… maybe updated showerheads? I’d have to get THAT picky. I will say if you aren’t super active or have limited mobility, there is not as much to take advantage of in the park (at least during the sweltering summer heat- everything was a good 2 miles + away) but only a few things were not accessible by car. But with the views and the fire pit, I’d be perfectly happy staying put at the cottage anyway.

So much to do! The breakfast was amazing. We loved having bikes to ride. The paths were great for exploring. Having beach access was great with an added bonus of that area of the beach was less populated. The pool was very nice. You were still very close to everything, but had the feel of a state park away from the busy.

The bed was very squeaky so whenever you moved it woke you and the other person up

It would be great to let guests know that they need to stop by headquarters for check in providing the address in reservation. Would have loved for earlier breakfast options so we can start our day earlier

Loved the space and the view was fantastic

A smart tv would be better than cable. We have a lot of streaming services that we would have like to have used but couldn't and could find very little to watch on the tv. The house smelled a little musty and stale and the floors were extremely dirty. It honestly needs mopped several times

Beautiful cottage, lots of space, updated appliances, surrounded by nature! Included bikes to enjoy the nature, the tram was very convenient and easy to figure out, and included breakfast was awesome! All staff were very friendly and helpful. My family will definitely be coming back.

The housecleaning didn’t clean our property on the second day of our stay also trash shouldn’t be guest responsibility should be housekeepings. I hurt my back taking out trash down the stairs last day

Everything..the cottage was perfect for relaxing enjoying family time an fishing on the pier. It was convientantly located to stores ..food..an the beach all with the fresh water lake also made it perfect.
