The hotel does not look fancy, but we were able to book a 3 queen bed hotel room, which was nice and big! The carpet was stained, but the room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Towels and bedding were nice and clean. We would stay here again because the owner was so nice and accommodating. My vehicle broke down, and we had to stay overnight and wait for our ride till the next day. He was so kind and let us check out 2 hours late with no extra charge because our ride was late. He gave us bags of ice for our cooler and made sure we were ok. The people here made the stay feel like a 5 star hotel. I am so grateful for the hospitality.

The room was fine although rather stark but adequately clean. It would greatly benefit from some updating/general refreshing of paint color/bedspreads/maybe some wall art. The owner was very welcoming and the location easy to find/close to town and quiet. I felt safe as a solo traveler with my car able to be parked right outside the door with good lighting. I would recommend for a short term stay while exploring Benson and the historic towns in the surrounding area

The Owner was also the person who xhecked me in, very friendly, he has a small dog who also greeted me and was very friendly, I love dogs and the hotel accepts small dogs for a fee. I don't have one but its good to know they do. Dennys is next door and you get a 15% discount there. The Bed was very comfortable room was very large with a Queen bed two chairs, frig micro.

We had a little problem with the room key, after 3 keys I was able to use the new one, it got to be funny after a while.

The staff was amazing! She was so nice told us about all the things yo see and do in the area. She told us about the discount to Dennys and Dickies BBQ. The room was basic, but it was very clean. I was in Benson for the lantern festival, the location was perfect it was right across the street! We walked and saved ourselves the hassle of parking in the the event. I will return next year and o plan on staying there. Thank you copper canyon.

Checking in was a breeze, the guy was very friendly, helpful and had everything (paperwork and room key) all ready to go when I got there

The fridge and microwave were unplugged and the fridge was not cold. Didn't realize this til I wanted a cold water out of the fridge and it wasn't on. With having my room key all ready- they should have prepped the room for my check in. (A/C and fridge on and cold)

Extremely clean room, probably THE cleanest we stayed at during our entire road trip! Except behind the bathroom door, whoever cleaned it last must have cleaned the bathroom with the door open, because pushed against the wall, behind the door there was a used towel, a scrap of kleenex, and 'dust bunnies'. However, everything else was so spotless this was obviously a fluke. The heater worked GREAT, no musty odor. The fire alarm did go off late that night, waking us up. We dressed and went out to the balcony, no one was outside, nothing was happening, no way to tell if it was a real alarm or not. The alarm finally quit, a neighbor yelled, "Finally!" and that was the total response. We would definitely stay here again due to the cleanliness and price. However, in the case of a fire alarm malfunction, the proprietors should communicate with guests (have an employee knock on doors, call rooms, send out an email or a text) to let them know what is happening. Also, a diner next door with a discount for guests was nice.

Not much sleep due to prolonged false fire alarm.

The staff was super nice. They shared with us different places to visit . Told us about favorite stores and eateries. They were very helpful.

The beds were ok but could be updated .

The owner (presumably the man we met at the checkin window) was super nice, informative, and quick. We got 15% off of Denny’s and he let us know about the stores close by for things we would need to purchase. It was a great room with AC, wifi, a TV, toiletries, and fridge/microwave. He also said he would give us a discount at our next stay. Great customer service and great room in a cool town.

It was all fantastic.

It is an older building that can use some work but the manager was teriffic and it was clean and the price was right! I enjoyed some of the vintage auto parked near by.

If it was fixed up more it would cost more. With inflationary prices high, it was nice to get a good nights' sleep!

The gentleman at the reception desk, I believe Danny O' Sullivan, was so friendly and welcoming and happy to help. He made sure we were content, got us ice, she'd is money by letting us injure Denny's has 15% off for hotel guests, and legitimately made my son and i feel welcome. Every time we come to Benson we'll be staying here.

Everything was great!
