I don’t write reviews usually… this time is an exception as this property stands out by mile other ones with reasonable budget. Best location in the Sedona…Exceptional service, spotless rooms, pool, hot tub …and everything from flyers to maintenance is well thought and executed. I love when someone cares for business from A to Z and that deserves highest recommendation….

Beautiful location and convenient

The airstream where we bought breakfast, coffee etc, was way too expensive ($10 for a latte!!) The breakfast was not good and also very pricey.

We absolutely loved the location and views. Easy parking and the grounds were beautiful and well maintained. We loved having a front and back porch to relax on. The room was spacious, clean and the kitchenette was a plus for heating up leftovers. The bed was comfortable, the shower was spacious, and the towels were thick and fluffy. We loved that there was easy access to a gorgeous hiking trail (Airport loop) and that we were away from the hustle and bustle of town, while still being close enough to go there when we wanted to. The Silver Bullet breakfasts were amazing. We also appreciated the coffee and water in the lobby.

There were only a few chairs at the pool, which were always taken when we tried to relax there. Not a big deal, as we found a different pretty location to sit.

Breakfast was good. I would have liked more lunch and dinner options on site, but understand the limitations. Loved the pool and cabana seats, but not how shaded it got after 3:30. Loved the room and patio though couldn’t have paid extra to be up on second floor with the specific view from our room being mostly covered by a tree. But it was still nice, just not extra few hundred dollars nice. Garden view first floor would’ve been fine, too. :) Bathroom and shower and space was so great. Larry our shuttle driver was the most positive dude, the woman working the airstream a few times, and the younger guy who checked us in (lighter not dark hair?) and provided tips over the phone on hikes, restaurants, how to plan a day. Everyone we met was friendly from staff to guests. Couldn’t ask for a better location and views at sunset by pavilion or down the street.

The bed. We agreed it was too soft and squishy, and we both didn’t sleep great every night and had cranky backs in morning. I think it’d be worth it to invest in new high density memory foam beds that are medium to high firmness. Sinking into a bed doesn’t feel good on the body actually.

Sky Ranch is a heavenly property overlooking Sedona! The entire team of staff is hard working and kind; they truly go above and beyond in every effort and interaction. We enjoyed the unlimited dark brew coffee and iced tea in lobby all day... the friendliness and laughs with Larry the shuttle driver... the beautiful gardens with labeled plants throughout the property... the breathtaking view from the event patio... hiking the Sedona Airport trail... walking to brunch twice at the Mesa Grill... swimming beneath the waterfall feature in the pool... and sitting on our little patio chairs as the monsoon blew through. What a perfect, dreamy place!

Everything was great except for a few things. All the staff went above and beyond except for dark haired young lady at reception. See below.. All staff at the airstream were fantastic, especially Kayla! Great view, if you could gain access...2 weddings had that area closed 2 out of 3 nights we were there.

1.The young dark haired girl at the reception desk was curt, rude and an example of poor customer service. When I asked to check, she gave me a dirty look and said check in was at 4 without even asking my name...I asked if she needed to see my confirmation for early check in. Allowing guests to get at least a peak of the viewing area used for events. The said girl at reception snapped and said it was closed and we would not be allowed to even take a quick glance. My husband went to reception to get change for a $20 bill, she again snapped and told him she could only give him $5 bills. ²

This lodge is amazing. Had stayed there maybe 6 years ago and they have done so much remodeling. It is gorgeous. The rooms are comfortable with parking in front of the rooms - all have porches. Everything was perfect! Gardens are beautiful and varied! The view is amazing. Rooms in the 240's I believe look over the red rocks - I tried to make mental notes of that. Nice pool and hot-tub - Coffee in the lobby starting at 4:30 am and served all day long also with teas. The small Sedona private plane airport is just a block away (no bother at all) and there is a restaurant that is there and very good. Location near the airport vortex and a large public overlook however the resort has a pavillion with a beautiful overlook that is used for weddings and can be used when there is no weddings. A perfect weekend.

They have a private little overlook that has amazing views of Sedona that we LOVED. The hotel room is about the cutest thing I have ever seen (!) and everything was welcoming. The staff was super friendly. The pool and hot tub looked really nice, and the landscaping was enchanting.

The booking made it sound like every room had a gorgeous Mountain View. The 1st photo is our lackluster room view. By my count, one row of rooms out of 3-4 rows had this view. I was charged for that view and it must have been given to another guest? It also claims to be a botanical garden. It has pretty landscaping, but no, it is NOT a botanical garden. The restaurant on site is an airstream food truck. Cute, but outdoor along the road. The pool area is very small and 2 families occupying it meant no room for us. The photos from the overlook are gorgeous, but the same as the public overlook next door (free). Had I had the view I thought, I’d rate it high… as it was I paid premium rates to be oversold on what it was.

This is one of the favorite places we have ever stayed. From the incredible views atop the airport mesa, to the property and rooms itself, everything was A+. The view from our room of the red rocks was stunning. Private sunset location (next door is the busy airport location) at this property is awesome. The property is beautiful. Loved the airstream trailer food truck vibe, we ate there a few times during our stay - more than we originally anticipated because the food was good and the energy of the outdoor seating was fun. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to return to stay here again.
