I don’t write reviews usually… this time is an exception as this property stands out by mile other ones with reasonable budget. Best location in the Sedona…Exceptional service, spotless rooms, pool, hot tub …and everything from flyers to maintenance is well thought and executed. I love when someone cares for business from A to Z and that deserves highest recommendation….

They have a private little overlook that has amazing views of Sedona that we LOVED. The hotel room is about the cutest thing I have ever seen (!) and everything was welcoming. The staff was super friendly. The pool and hot tub looked really nice, and the landscaping was enchanting.

The booking made it sound like every room had a gorgeous Mountain View. The 1st photo is our lackluster room view. By my count, one row of rooms out of 3-4 rows had this view. I was charged for that view and it must have been given to another guest? It also claims to be a botanical garden. It has pretty landscaping, but no, it is NOT a botanical garden. The restaurant on site is an airstream food truck. Cute, but outdoor along the road. The pool area is very small and 2 families occupying it meant no room for us. The photos from the overlook are gorgeous, but the same as the public overlook next door (free). Had I had the view I thought, I’d rate it high… as it was I paid premium rates to be oversold on what it was.

The beds were too soft and overly used they need to be replaced. There wasn’t anywhere outside you could sit and put your feet up comfortably. There were no lounge chairs with cushions in the garden areas. The garden areas have greatly improved over the years and are becoming larger and larger. They are so beautiful. The outside furnishings, although adequate were uncomfortable. The view is beyond compare and it is why I went there. It never disappoints. The staff seem a little over busy and somewhat stressed and wanted you, as a customer, to compensate for their perceived hardships in their working conditions. The lobby needs to be remodeled, although it is quaint and the gift shop is worthless. So much lost revenue is in that area. I like their little RV kitchen up in front although the quality is moderate with an extremely limited menu. They say they have a bar, but it’s actually wine and beer. It’s a beautiful little place and I enjoyed my stay there. I have been many times over the years. It’s quiet and you can get a good nights sleep. The room rooms are in need of renovating, but they’re very clean. The housekeeping staff was wonderful.

Sky Ranch exceeded my expectations on almost every dimension. The staff was extremely friendly (shout-out to Mason in particular, but everyone was great). The room was nicer than expected, well-constructed, and clean. The location was perfect - pretty much within 18-20 minutes of any hike we wanted to do, and within ~8-15 minutes of everywhere we wanted to eat. The lodge also has a private outdoors viewing area which is perfect for watching the sunset. They also have fresh cookies for free every morning, which was an unexpected bonus! They have an on-site Airstream that serves food and drinks. We mainly just did food there but everything was tasty and good. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone staying in Sedona.

We loved this property and the staff. The pool is heated and has a nice hot tub. The grounds are amazing! We saw quail, lizards, and bunnies all from our balcony! The room was spacious and updated. The property had a complimentary shuttle that would take you anywhere within 5 miles of it and would pick you up too! So it was great to head uptown for dinner and shopping. The location is amazing too! Its right next to airport mesa so wed go watch sunrise and stargaze. 100000%%% reccomend this hotel.

Amazing, one of a kind location. The staff made sure to let us know there’s a sunset gathering every day at the communal area where we could bring drinks and sit by the heaters. The parking and ability to walk to the restaurant and the two viewing spots was great! Lovely place. Staying here in February was not as warm to use pools or hot tub, but it’s nice to know for next time. Very clean, very comfortable place in general, loved it!

The walls are quite thin, we could hear neighbors a lot. It might be because the place is so quiet at night, any noise comes through. I wish the AC had a mode like a fan plus heater when temperature dropped, I only had a fan mode so I kept that all night to help as the white noise maker.

Sky Ranch Lodge is awesome! You're on the vortex, there's sunset viewing, HH, Airstream food/breakfast, walk to Mesa Grill. Shuttle avail (free - 5 miles anywhere within Sedona), nice pool/hot tub, gardens, and laundry available. Tours can pick you up. It's always a beautiful view going up or down Airport Road. Hike from the hotel for sunrise or sunset. .The gardens are just beautiful, you can walk around and sit in different areas and have outdoor space. You're also in West Sedona, lots of ease to get to great hikes, restaurants, grocery stores and Uptown.

We were in room 388 which is the furthest room on the property. That means we have a great view of the mountains on the back porch. From the entrance, you can see the tiny Sedona airport and tiny planes taking off and landing. The electric fireplace was worth the $25/night upgrade. Keep in mind that we had a wind storm and then heavy snow the time that we were there! I love that they have a driver available within 5 mi range from 2pm-10pm. That means that we don't have to worry about having a few drinks over dinner! The guy was super nice too!

There is an airstream for food service but no on-site restaurant, so you are limited after breakfast to pizza and salad.

Great location and beautiful grounds. Very cozy -- even the pool is subtle and not obtrusive. We ordered food on-site, which was delivered promptly to our room. We were exhausted and so glad for a comfy, quiet room. Much preferred to routine chain hotels. We honestly wished we could have extended our stay for a 'rest' day at this hotel. Convenient parking, close proximity to spectacular views, the airport trail, and amenities such as CVS, Starbucks, etc.

The bathroom is small and only has a shower. But that wasn't a dealbreaker for us. Ample room in the room, with plenty of drawers for all of our items. Parking is just outside your room.

Views! Landscaping—a sweet green oasis on the edge of a mesa overlooking the city sprawling through the valley below. Beautifully refurbished. Toilet & shower separate from sink, broad area beside sink for spreading out. Lovely reading chair and light. Delicious fresh-brewed coffee in the morning. Very easy Parking. Low rise cabin-type units. Lovely!

No fault of Sky Lodge, but food closer by would have been nice. And a little more of a kitchenette—we brought our own yogurt and fruit for breakfast.
