Beautiful hotel, great downtown location

Even though the hotel is very elegant and high end, we encountered some shortcomings that left us questioning the quality of the hotel management and staff. For example, only one washcloth and one very small bar of soap were provided in the bathroom. Also there was no cream (not even the fake stuff) for the coffee. I called the front desk to ask for assistance but no one ever answered the phone. I even went by the front desk and asked for cream for the next day, but it was never delivered. Lastly, a housekeeper banged loudly on our door one morning although we had a privacy sign out. When we opened the door she just looked at us and rudely walked off. These issues may seem minor but added together left us feeling that the hotel is not well managed.

Room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Hotel location was perfect to the Healdsburg Plaza and other shops, wine tasting and more.

The valet parking was the valet/staff driving your car a block+ away to a 24 hour public parking lot. Service was fast but didn't feel secure. Breakfast was the weak point, eggs warm at best, bread partially cut and when you'd try to break a slice off it would fall apart Good coffee. Not worth the $10 per person delivery

Beautiful room, comfortable bed, great. location and beautiful overall hotel. Excellent staff - helped with bike storage and winery visits.

Breakfast was sparse and limited choices - only protein option was eggs and only toast. A yoghurt would have been nice and a pastry basket given the lovely bakeries in the area. A lot of morning noise from trash etc in the rooms facing the side street - suggest sound proof windows.

The room and bathroom were large, well appointed, quiet and very comfortable. We enjoyed our morning breakfast in the sitting area right by the fireplace. Location was ideal with 1 block walk to the central square in town and the heart of shopping and dining. The staff were extremely helpful and we appreciated the wine tasting recommendations with comped tastings at Foley wineries

Location very close to the square and all of the best restaurants in Healdsburg. Room (304) spacious with vaulted ceiling and quiet. Furnishing and finishes of good quality. Bathroom large and well-equipped.

The adjacent bar and restaurant (Chalkboard) created some unwelcome pedestrian traffic and noise at times in the hotel lobby, which made it feel less "private" than normal for an establishment affiliated with Relais et Chateaux. Neverthless, this is by far the best hotel experience we have had in Healdsburg and was well worth the premium pricing.

lovely room and great location

For the amount of the room. we feel a full breakfast should have been included at no extra cost. We ordered the continental breakfast and it was OK but with 2 dry croissants a piece served with no butter or jam and no extra plates.

Location was perfect for getting to many shops and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent. One of the 3 of us could not tolerate gluten and gluten free toast was provided for her. Room decor was so nice, we enjoyed !

Cost was extravagant. I splurged this time and enjoyed ,but may research further for another accommodation next time in your town . We noticed one of the nightstands needed some repair( loose metal trim) that needed secured.

Beautiful, small hotel with truly outstanding staff.

Nothing not to like, but need to recognize that it is a very small hotel and so does not have full luxury hotel services.

The hotel is charming and elegant, and the room was lovely and well appointed with a super comfy bed and great shower. The location is spectacular - a block from town center and an easy walk to great restaurants, with an excellent restaurant just downstairs. Hotel staff were also fabulous- very helpful and attentive. Nice little wine and cheese was also offered in late afternoon.

Would have liked to have a coffee bar available downstairs in the morning. And more bread/crackers were always needed with the wine and cheese.

Perfect location. Loved having a cocktail bar on site.

My room 208 was a little noisy, being just next to the laundry area.
