The rooms were updated and very clean. All of the facilities worked well. The front desk clerk was very friendly and attentive, even calling us in our room the first night to tell us about the hot water and asking every day how things were going. We have stayed at this hotel a few times, and I think time was the best. We like how close the hotel is to downtown and walking distance from everything. The new landscaping makes the hotel look so much better than it used to look.

The bed was somewhat uncomfortable. In the room my father-in-law stayed in, the battery was missing from the smoke alarm. I wish that the King Suite we stayed in had the bigger refrigerator. The hotel next door has become a rental area with a lot of grocery carts gathered around making the area around the Fairview look a little ghetto. Wish there was a sidewalk between the hotel and the Mexican market 2 doors down because you have to walk in the street to get down the street and downtown.

The young woman who checked me in was very nice. The room was clean. The AC worked really well. Large king bed and a large spacious bathroom. It was a stopover for my way home. Healdsburg center is a short walk but not a shady walk and it was 90+. Once you are in the center of town it's a bit more shady and walkable. It's very close to the 101 and easy to get back on freeway when leaving. It was quiet when I was there. It looks like they are doing some work on the outside. There is a pool which I was going to use but I was a bit tipsy from the Margarita at dinner so ended up not using it. It was small but looked clean and refreshing! Overall a good value for a night or two in Healdsburg.

The staff was great and catered to all my needs. Even off the list requests were fulfilled with a smile. They went beyond their call of duty to make the stay comfortable. Miss Arpita gets a thumbs up for sure.

The microwave was noisy! That was the only negative and something that can be corrected easily.

Best bang for your buck. A little outside of the main downtown but an easy 10minute walk to shopping and restaurants. Pride in ownership is evident as the entire place and property is in perfect, clean condition. It is an older motel style property that has been completely renovated. The room was great and spacious!

Great location, staff & atmosphere. Walking distance to downtown Healdsburg. Convenience market steps away as well as all sorts of dining & drinking establishments just a few minutes walk from this location. I will definitely be staying here again in the future when I’m in Healdsburg.

Wasn’t impressed with the local dining recommendation but came to find out the place had since changed ownership & was no longer near as decent as it used to be, Friendly local patron of the “Elephant in the room”(local lil watering hole that was K9 as well as human friendly) confirmed this” the place name rhymes with The Burst & sells sausages. Nuff said, save your $$ & dine anywhere else. Matter a fact the same local recommended Bollywood Indian which was simply amazing & was just out of visual sight, perhaps a 2 minute walk from the Elephant in the room. If you enjoy Indian do not pass this place up.

This was not our first stay at the Fairview, we’ve been there a few times before and it is undoubtedly a great value: nice, spacious rooms, within walking distance from the down town area.

It was indeed the first time we went in late November though and the nights were cold. We usually like to avoid turning on the heating at night and use good, thick comforters instead. The room could have used a thicker set of comforters or provided extra sheets. As it was, we had no choice but to turn on the (rather noisy) heater to avoid freezing at night. We also got awoken around 6am by a construction crew working in the street right behind our room, which wasn’t great.

This is a great, no frills option for people who want to be close to Healdsburg but wish to avoid the astronomical hotel prices. It's a 10 minute walk to the Plaza. The rooms are huge and clean, with good water pressure (not the case in some of the 5-star hotels in Healdsburg) and the bed was very comfortable. I would stay here again.

The heating was a weird fan that did not run constantly, but rather turned itself on and off throughout the night. It woke me up more than once, so I think this might need to be improved.

The location was very good. One could easily walk to stores, restaurants, etc. The area is quiet. The staff at reception are very friendly.

It is rather pricey, but that is simply due to where it is located.

I was not aware that breakfast was an option or served there.

There is nothing I did not like except the fact that I could not stay longer. I love it there, and for the price and availability, you cannot beat it for the quality anywhere else.

Very nice, quiet place to stay. Room was very clean and comfortable. Had a nice pool.for our grandson to swim in. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay.
