The room was updated and clean and the price was reasonable. For those reasons I would recommend a stay here. Just some minor things that could use improvement. The area seemed okay to me, although Google took us around to a building behind the motel, but that's a Google problem.

The bathroom needs an exhaust fan for the shower, as well as some extra hooks and/or bars to hang clothes or bags. There wasn't really any place to put clean clothes while showering. Also, it was very bright out all night due to the lighting in the parking lot. True blackout curtains would help a lot.

No free breakfast! I like the cleanliness, of the place and big enough for two people. I like it because its near all the restaurants around. I like it because its completely having shampoo and towels and the hairdryer.

I didn’t like that my friend’s room was too far from us and we didn’t like that the ice maker was broken. We have to go upstairs and my friend was downstairs. I thought its only ten miles from Solvang as stayed at booking.com i don’t like that there is only one chair in a room for two person .

Great rooms, clean, quiet and comfortable. Dont worry about the neighborhood Lompoc is a wonderful working community, different people, foods and cultures.. what a beautiful melting pot is the middle of a produce and flower growing town. Budget inn is a awesome family owned property, with care and attention given to the comfort of its customers. I love this place, its price and location and best of all is the beautiful town and climate. Thanks Budget inn.

Rooms where big and clean. Beds where comfortable .everything was great.

Friendly and efficient at the front desk. Exceptionally clean main room and bathroom in great like-new condition., with plenty of space. Mini-fridge was as large as I’ve ever seen and had a separate bottom door for the freezer compartment. They do use the card # that you booked with for covering incidentals or damages, but they don’t hit you with an additional $50-100 security deposit up front, as many places do, which always seems to take 5 business days to come off your account after you leave. That scam gets really old fast, so it was nice to see them handle it properly.

The bathroom had been recently renovated, the room was very clean, and the staff was amazing! There was a small kitchen and it came with utensils, plates, and even cups. The shower had complimentary soaps and shampoos, very comfortable. I would definitely consider it for another stay.

Unfortunately the plumbing for the toilet wasn't working, so I feel bad for the cleaner :(. Not much else to mention!

Room was super clean. I requested a room on the 2nd floor and they were able to accommodate me. Nothing fancy but great location for my needs and as I stated super clean.

It’s not that I don’t like it, but the building is older and needs repairs. They have started renovating some of the rooms. I’ve stayed there before and I will stay there again.

Surprising little gem. Best price and value in Lompoc. Parked 3 feet right outside my door. Room was spotless. Bed was comfy and warm.

Clerk was a little short with me and seemed irritated that I didn't know the check in process, and was upset with where I parked to check in. It was late and I pulled up under the roof by the office door. Apparently that was the exit, and I was blocking it, though it was very possible to go around me.

If I was asked to rate this place from 0 to 10 I would rate it at a 20+ I was a main quest and the amount of professionalism and accommodation that I received was unspeakable!! I will Never stay anywhere else when I travel to similar area. The rooms was clean accommodtiomalble and very comfortable! I have stayed here about 3 times and they never disappoint. The staff is so professional and the rooms are so clean!! Thank you so much Budget Inn for making my life easier.

Great value! Updated room was clean and spacious. Comfortable bed and pillows. Room had a full kitchen but no cookware nor dinnerware, etc. except for two spatulas. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful and responsive. The AC had no lights on. They reset the breaker and it was back up and running in no time at all.

When taking one of the outer staircases, some of the stair steps seemed a little off. Not a deal breaker just tread carefully.

It was super clean, everything was updated. Very comfortable beds and spacious rooms. The lady at the reception was super nice and friendly. We arrived one hour before our check in time, she looked for a room that was ready and accommodated us immediately. We really appreciated since we were tired and wanted to rest.

There wasn’t a table or additional chair to place the bags or the suitcase.
