The grounds were very clean and very fun for families. The rooms were also very clean.

The noise was so loud. We were woken up so many times starting at 6am just from how loud everything was. When the maid was knocking, it sounded like they were pounding on our door, even though they weren’t. Their cleaning cart going by our door very early in the morning couldn’t have been louder. There was a motorcycle in the parking lot and it sounded like it was right outside of our door. It would just be nice if there was some sort of sound muffling, like maybe soundproofing windows? I know it’s an older hotel, but it was just so loud that we couldn’t go back to sleep.

The hotel staff greeted us immediately, the office was clean and orderly. Everyone was very friendly. The room was easy to find, and neatly ready for us. The beds were very comfortable. Plenty of pillows and an extra comforter at the end of the bed. There was a nice table with 2 padded chairs. There was also a lower counter near the door, great as a luggage holder or desk. The room had a TV with remote, a small microwave and a mini fridge with a freezer you pushed a button to turn on. It froze our water bottles over night :) The tub/shower combo and toilet worked well. Plenty of towels and liquid soaps. The breakfast hut was nicely decorated with tables/chairs both inside and out. Light breakfast faire: danishes and muffins, instant oatmeal,coffee, decaf, hot water for tea and hot chocolate.

Small things: room had no tissues, no channel guide for the TV (there is one on the TV, but it takes a lot of scrolling), I couldn't find any milk or cream for my tea - only fake creamers, and lastly, no real sugar packets.

The room was very basic, but comfortable, clean with a nice bed a high volume shower head (not a junky spritzer like most places). This was priced less than the Motel 6 so based on that caliber of hotel, we weren't expecting much at all. We were very pleasantly surprised. This was far and away better than any Motel 6. This had a nice pool, a small putt putt golf green, a firepit, nice pergolas and comfy outdoor chairs to sit in, some outdoor games - and best of all of that - a good Cornhole Game with nice boards & new bean bags!!! Yes, that was over the top... we love to play cornhole and almost no place has it so kudos the Pea Soup Andersons. NOTE: There is an old falling apart Pea Soup Anderson hotel right next door and there is chatter on the internet saying that the hotel went out of business - ignore that. They built a brand new one right next to the old one. The location is excellent right off the 101 freeway - super easy access on and off the freeway. It's a 5-10 minute drive to Solvang on the same road and just East of the hotel, and that is a must see town - easy to do with minimal time or effort from this location. You could probably save money by staying here and going to Solvang every day rather than paying high Solvang prices - if you wished. There is a low cost gas station right next door to the hotel which is super convenient. Overall we were very happy with Pea Soup Andersons and would highly recommend it to anyone on a budget who wants a friendly comfortable clean place to stay.

We stayed in a downstairs room #142. People with children upstairs trampled along and you could hear it all. They quit at about 10 pm and started up again at 5:30 am. I would recommend staying upstairs.

Location was great just outside of Solvang. We came for a half marathon and it was a great stay for a decent price. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Sitting area outside looked nice with fire pit but it was occupied so we didn’t use it. Appreciated the sign saying the water was extra filtered and perfect for drinking so I didn’t need to buy bottled water. Check out time of noon was also great.

Nothing really, for a quick stay it’s great. I was disappointed the Pea Soup restaurant was no longer there I grew up eating there and had been looking forward to it. Hopefully they will bring it back staff mentioned it’s a possibility.

The room was exceptionally cleaned each and every day. The beds were made nicely daily, which many hotels are not doing anymore. They recently installed a new water filter system for the entire hotel, so it was nice to be able to fill water bottles from it every day and have the water taste good.

They don't serve much of a breakfast. Just sweet rolls and coffee. Oh, and there is instant oatmeal. One thing they don't have is non-dairy creamer for your coffee. It wouldn't be that much of a cost to provide that. Since I couldn't eat any of the muffins/sweet tools, I had to buy breakfast out, which I'm used to having to do with my food allergies, but it would have been nice to get at least a cup of coffee, which I couldn't because they didn't have any nondairy creamer. I guess I'll have to start bringing that too.

I love that this building dated back to the 1920s. The rooms were a generous size, in super decorative order and super clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Even though I was a top floor front room the road was not very noisy and the bed is setback from the roadside too. A a single woman o felt very safe with functional locks and cameras on site. I love that there was a sign saying the water was top quality to drink. It was!

The staff team work super hard. I did notice the silicone low down in the bathroom when in the bath could do with a scrub but this is very minor and easily missed.

This was my second stay at Pea Soup! I really like this hotel. It’s clean, comfortable, great location, and has friendly staff. It’s super easy to get to Solvang from here and it’s the perfect place to relax after your adventures. The pool and jacuzzi are nice. Rooms are a good size and appreciate the hand soap being liquid instead of the bars that are often at other hotels. I also love the size of the fridge. Overall such a cute hotel! My go to when i’m visiting Solvang.

Loved the covered staircase. The water was amazing. Enjoyed the balcony. The room was meticulously clean. The location was quiet, and the short distance to Solvang was a beautiful, comforting ride through the most beautiful countryside. Complimentary breakfast was even .ore enjoyable because of the atmosphere and ambiance of the gazebo. The pool was clean, sparkling, and inviting. Mini golf was fun. Parking was convenient. Furnishings were very nice. There were lots of mirrors brightening the room. Loved the abundant but convenient access to electrical outlets. The bed was comfortable. Loved multiple pillow arrangement. .

Everything about this place was great. Good parking, friendly staff, great location, clean, updated, and just a good place to stay. They had a lot of cool stuff in the courtyard area that I didn't have the time to utilize but other's did and looked to be having a great time. They said they had a light breakfast and that is what they had but from a local bakery with coffee to send you off.

I wish I could have stayed a few more days but had to hit the road after one night.

The staff was very professional courtesy and helpful. We had a very nice stay at Andersons and plan to go go back when we are in the area again. Breakfast was good, but maybe you could mix in some bacon and eggs or pancakes and waffles, however the Danishes were very good. The good part was all the restaurants were with in walking distances the the hotel. Again we were delighted at the room and how clean the area was. Thank you Anderson for a great stay, WE WILL BE BACK!!!
