The grounds were very clean and very fun for families. The rooms were also very clean.

The noise was so loud. We were woken up so many times starting at 6am just from how loud everything was. When the maid was knocking, it sounded like they were pounding on our door, even though they weren’t. Their cleaning cart going by our door very early in the morning couldn’t have been louder. There was a motorcycle in the parking lot and it sounded like it was right outside of our door. It would just be nice if there was some sort of sound muffling, like maybe soundproofing windows? I know it’s an older hotel, but it was just so loud that we couldn’t go back to sleep.

Location was great just outside of Solvang. We came for a half marathon and it was a great stay for a decent price. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Sitting area outside looked nice with fire pit but it was occupied so we didn’t use it. Appreciated the sign saying the water was extra filtered and perfect for drinking so I didn’t need to buy bottled water. Check out time of noon was also great.

Nothing really, for a quick stay it’s great. I was disappointed the Pea Soup restaurant was no longer there I grew up eating there and had been looking forward to it. Hopefully they will bring it back staff mentioned it’s a possibility.

The room was exceptionally cleaned each and every day. The beds were made nicely daily, which many hotels are not doing anymore. They recently installed a new water filter system for the entire hotel, so it was nice to be able to fill water bottles from it every day and have the water taste good.

They don't serve much of a breakfast. Just sweet rolls and coffee. Oh, and there is instant oatmeal. One thing they don't have is non-dairy creamer for your coffee. It wouldn't be that much of a cost to provide that. Since I couldn't eat any of the muffins/sweet tools, I had to buy breakfast out, which I'm used to having to do with my food allergies, but it would have been nice to get at least a cup of coffee, which I couldn't because they didn't have any nondairy creamer. I guess I'll have to start bringing that too.

I love that this building dated back to the 1920s. The rooms were a generous size, in super decorative order and super clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Even though I was a top floor front room the road was not very noisy and the bed is setback from the roadside too. A a single woman o felt very safe with functional locks and cameras on site. I love that there was a sign saying the water was top quality to drink. It was!

The staff team work super hard. I did notice the silicone low down in the bathroom when in the bath could do with a scrub but this is very minor and easily missed.

Loved the covered staircase. The water was amazing. Enjoyed the balcony. The room was meticulously clean. The location was quiet, and the short distance to Solvang was a beautiful, comforting ride through the most beautiful countryside. Complimentary breakfast was even .ore enjoyable because of the atmosphere and ambiance of the gazebo. The pool was clean, sparkling, and inviting. Mini golf was fun. Parking was convenient. Furnishings were very nice. There were lots of mirrors brightening the room. Loved the abundant but convenient access to electrical outlets. The bed was comfortable. Loved multiple pillow arrangement. .

We stayed just for a night as a mid stop before heading back home. The facility is nice and the staffs are friendly. Only problem we had was the hot tub. My son was in the hot tub and got a deep cut under his foot. He said he stepped on the plastic filter plate. Im not sure if its the filter plate or glass but we notified the front desk. Hopefully, they will drain the water to check it out.

My kids did not get to enjoy the pool and hot tub. We were in for 10 mins and my son got hurt.

Great value. We went during the week. Clean, spacious room. Has a small putting green and cornball for entertainment. They provided Danish, coffee, juice, and oatmeal in the morning. Our key card didn't work when we came home at night. The staff immediately assisted with our issue. Maintenance came from their home to help open the door so we could get in our room. I forgot my makeup bag in the room . The staff called to inform me of my makeup bag which they promptly sent to me by mail. Great value, exceptional staff and not far from Solvang!

I have no negatives about our stay.

The pool was great amenity, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Facilities were clean enough and good value. Would stay again. Our kids especially liked the play area and pool; the slide-door access to the inner yard was also very convenient. Very good location, with good food options nearby.

Keys are easily demagnetized, we had to ask for new keys pretty often. Breakfast was very sparse, but the food options near the hotel are convenient and good value. The pool area could use some shade (maybe some umbrellas)

You can't really beat this place for the price. Even though the property is a bit dated, the facilities are in great shape. The pool is very nice, the putting green is fun and the breakfast gazebo is charming. The staff are really nice. Our room was dated, but the mattress and sheets were new and hotel quality. Nothing wrong with the bathrooms, but more functional/clean.

Can't complain at the price point, but the hotel has so much potential with a little paint and maybe some bathroom remodels. It really could be a top hotel in the area (the view is insane), but of course it would be more expensive, too, so I guess that's the tradeoff.

The room was very nice but workers were rooming next door and they get up at about 4:30 so it was loud - I could hear their conversations. Although I couldn’t eat the pastries, I thought the gazebo breakfast was very nice. It’s a very sweet little room.

The area around the pool was very uninviting as was the front entrance. The property really needs a hardscape and landscape upgrade. If I hadn’t seen a good review, I would not have even stopped.
