This property is central and convenient to explore the whole area. The customer service was very good, thank you! Parking on the side where our room was limited, but there was plenty of street parking available. Lovely, clean pool and jacuzzi area with towels provided by the Inn. And the free (continental breakfast) pastries from Olsen's Danish Village Bakery was delicious and appreciated!

Just a few small things, and not really a bother, but the toilet would make a running noise periodically - I closed the bathroom door and then couldn't hear it and when showering the water was not draining in the tub very quickly.

When I booked this hotel a month before we traveled, I didn't realize we had booked a cottage. We didn't discover this until we checked in, and the night manager told us our room had a small kitchen, 1 bedroom, and a living room. Soon as we walked into the room we were blown away. The cottage was perfect. If you plan on staying here, ask if unit 143 is available. It was an awesome location. We had our own driveway, which is ideal for two cars if needed. We didn't use the pool area because we were there during the winter. However, it looks nice. If I went back in the summer, I would bring my swim trunks and go for a swim. The location is perfect. You can easily walk to the main areas of Solvang. We didn't even use our car when we stayed because everything is within walking distance.

There is not much I didn't like about them. It would have been nice if we had a bigger table. There is plenty of room for it in the living room area. With a kitchen, a larger space to eat or prepare your meals would be ideal.

We came in to see the play, Little Shoppe of Horrors at the Festival Theatre. The hotel is closely located to the theatre. We were able to walk to our breakfast choice in the am. We also had a complimentary Danish breakfast which was easy to pickup and take with us. The room was clean, parking was easy, and the bed was comfortable.

A/C could have been quieter and worked a bit better for the second room since it was so warm. We made do with it. The toliet in my room rattled when you sat on it. It may have been loose. Bathroom is a bit dated and could use better shower heads.

We liked the breakfast voucher for the neighboring bakery. The room was cozy and we were quite comfortable. The TV surprised us by being mounted on a swinging mount so we weren't straining our necks to watch it. There were a good amount of maps and pamphlets available in the office to help guide us around. Overall, our stay was enjoyable.

The in-room coffee was poor. The coffee-pot was not very practical and the resulting coffee was very weak; we had to get coffee from a neighboring store. The A/C was a little beat-up and confusing to use but we figured it out eventually.

Loved that the included breakfast was at the bakery across the street. The pastries were delicious! Also loved that everything we wanted to see was in easy walkable distance. It's definitely an older place, and more in the style of a motel, so keep that in mind when booking. With that said though, it was very clean.

We stayed in a room on the ground level and could hear people walking around in their room just above us. If you're a light sleeper this may affect your stay.

Friendly staff, very efficient. Very good location with easy walk to just about everything. It was an easy walk to the Solvang Theaterfest for a PCPA show. They offer a breakfast ticket for Olsen's Bakery across the street. We always try to have our breakfast at Paula's (also across the street)...an excellent place for breakfast. We had a king room which was plenty big. The room was somewhat "spartan" but had everything you'd need and it all worked.

It didn't have any "comfy" chairs to sit in.

The room was very clean and cozy. The location was perfect. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. It was Super Bowl Sunday and I asked if we could check in early so that we could go to watch the game at a local pub. The gentleman at the front desk was so nice and checked us in right away. He gave us a bag of cookies from the bakery across the way and a voucher for breakfast. The cookies and Danish breakfast were delicious. We will be staying here again.

I cannot think of anything I didn’t like.

Location was great and our room was clean and comfortable (we stayed on the second floor and I think it had been recently renovated. Great if you’re looking for something no frills but still nice and clean. Breakfast included across the street was a bonus and the front desk staff was super helpful and accommodating when we had to change our reservation last minute due to an emergency.

Very minor but there could be more tables at the pool (we got takeout since we arrived on a Tuesday when most restaurants were closed). There was only one table and another family was there.

We LOVED it! Picturesque Solvang is a perfect PCH stop, especially for "first-timers." It's the "Gatlinburg" of the West...you have to see it at least once. They dealt so graciously with our late check in...we found you don't get anywhere quickly on the beautiful Pacific Coast Highway...too many vistas to explore! The comfort and space of the inn married to the delicious breakfast at the legendary Olsen's Bakery (voucher provided) across street made our 35th anniversary Cali Road Trip adventure (up 1 and back down 101) one we know we are forever blessed to have experienced. Proverbs 11:25 and well done, grateful appreciation to all.

I loved the authentic style of the little cottages, it was comfortable and spacious. It was in the center of town and was connected to a danish bakery for breakfast. The cottages were equipped well and also had a little outdoor space. It was overall a wonderful stay and experience.

I am glad we were able to stay in a cottage. The rooms in the motel style structure wouldn’t have made me so happy for our 2 night stay.
