The best location to walk around Solvang. The room was clean and spacious. I was downstairs with a wood floor and I believe a slightly upgraded room. The walls are thin but the sleep noise machine and air conditioning made it unnoticeable. Free parking. Light breakfast included muffins, danish, coffee, tea and juice. Very nice front desk. Housekeeping was spotless. Mixed bag of crowd from families, to just passing through types to elderly couples. Felt safe as a solo traveler.

Centrally located to shops and restaurants, next to Solvang Park. Great walking town for stroll with family. Felt very safe, and also fun with Karaoke in background. Very quaint like stepping into a fairytale land. We got the first floor room with patio overlooking the pool. It was a plus for our kids who were so excited. Pool/Jacuzzi was clean and well-maintained. Inn offered a fun scavenger hunt for the kids with prizes. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Parking was also very convenient. Room was very clean. The light breakfast offerings in the lobby was nice.

Ice maker closest to our room was not working. Other than that, not much we didn’t like about the property. Shops closed too early during the week. We saw many people and family strolling after dinner around town, and 60%+ of the stores were already closed. Maybe it was the time of the week/year.

Our stay at the King Frederik Inn was one of the nicest stays I've had in a while. The staff were very friendly and available 24/7. The room was nice with plenty of room to move around. The king-size bed was very comfortable with plenty of blankets to keep warm. It was nice having a small refrigerator and microwave in the room. The pool was heated, so even though it was a little chilly out, we were still able to swim before heading to the hot tub, which was very relaxing before heading up to our room for the night. My favorite thing about this property was being able to drink and keep our water bottles filled right from the faucets. We usually have to keep buying water to drink at other hotels. I highly recommend this property when visiting Solvang.

The only thing I didn't like was that the shampoo in the shower was a 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner combo, and I really need a conditioner after washing my hair. However, this would not detour me from staying here again.

The location was great. The desk was welcoming, the continental breakfast was good, the room was clean and easy to navigate.

It was a very noisy room - we could hear upstairs neighbors' conversations, footsteps, other activity (unidentifiable). The location is probably part of the "problem". The location is great for visiting Solvang. But that puts us near the street. It was not noisy overnight - quieted down after 11, which is really fine. We're just not late nighters. The shower was weak, not a lot of pressure or a good spray. I really prefer soap to liquid dispensers, although I'm sure they are easier for cleaning and less expensive to maintain.

We recently stayed at this lovely hotel and absolutely loved our experience! The layout of our room was fantastic, providing plenty of space and comfort. One of the highlights was having direct access to the pool right from our patio door it made for a truly enjoyable and relaxing stay. Additionally, the complimentary danishes and drinks were a delightful touch that added to our overall experience. It was such a nice way to start the day! Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with convenient amenities. We can’t wait to return!

We were located downstairs about in the middle of the block of rooms. The maid came every day which we didn't expect, but were pleased to have fresh towels, trash emptied , bed made and everything nice and clean. The front desk employees were exceptional. They were very kind, friendly and informative. We loved the breakfast. There's nothing like Danish pastries when you are in Little Denmark. We felt so spoiled.

We can't think of anything we didn't like.

Super cute hotel, in a great location with everything in walking distance. We were lucky to get the last parking spot in the lot and from there on we walked everywhere. Lots of restaurants and bakeries nearby and there’s a liquor store across the street. The room was a decent size and the pool was also great for the kids.

Cons: The beds were full size which is pretty tight for two adults. Also, the pool closed at 9 PM which seemed really early considering the sun went down at 8:30. We learned later that Mondays and Tuesdays are when most places in Solving close early. Bring snacks or things you need because everything in town is pretty pricey.

The hotel is right in the main street in a cool city. All stores and restaurants are walking distance. The hotel has a swimming pool and gives a small breakfast.( local bakeries and instant quacker and hot beverages) that you can take to your room. The towels were decoratively folded. Made a feeling that I'm wanted. Perfect stay at fair price.

Located on the main street in Solvang, easy to get to, and across from the parking lot is the town's Visitor Center! You can easily walk to every place in Solvang. Even though it was on Copenhagen Drive, we never heard road noise at night or inside our room! We will definitely stay here next time! And the staff was very warm and friendly. Kind of felt like my extended family!

We chose a balcony room, but the sun was so bright in the afternoon we didn't sit out there. A balcony would be great for evening or morning times, though.

Great staff. The staff was always there to help. The location was perfect to walk almost everywhere. The room was cleaned everyday. The room was very basic, but comfortable, clean and large enough. Parking space was always available close to our room. We will return.

We liked everthing. My wife and I stay in Solvang twice or three times a year. This was the best hotel we have stayed in.
