#1. It’s dog friendly. We take our girl everywhere and she loves the hotel. Nice area to walk her. #2. Price is excellent for what you get. #3. Rooms are well appointed and very roomy. Very clean. Quiet. #4. Appreciate the on-site parking. #5. Wonderful staff. From check-in to check-out, everyone we encountered was so friendly and welcoming. #6. Fabulous location. Can walk to restaurants, shops and wine bars.

The room rate is a great value. However it does add up when a resort fee is tacked on. There are already enough extra charges with all the taxes.

The location is very convenient, and there was a parking space quite close to our rooms. The lounge was comfortable in the early evening, with good hors d'oeuvres and nice atmosphere. The pool was fine and the hot-tub very relaxing. The bed was very comfortable, and a great shower.

We had expected there to be breakfast with the room as advertised, but on check-in was told this was only offered with reservations 3 days or longer. Ditto room cleaning. We were only there for two nights. The lighting in the bedroom (the main room) was very dim, no central lighting.

The location and value was PERFECT. The design and decor was darling. They have a wine lounge and cold brew on tap! There were snacks and bites set out in the morning and throughout the day. The staff was wonderful from the front desk (one had glasses and such a pleasant demeanor / and the other while busy at check-in was very prompt and attentive to assist us with getting into our room). The bartender Rick was great and even the Maintenance Men -- very speedy changing the empty cold brew and fixing our TV not having signal. The bed was super comfy and the room was a great size, the bath products offered smelled fantastic. The hotel was such a gem to find!

**While not the hotel's responsibility,** our neighbors upstairs had kids clearly jumping off their beds--not a good wakeup call to experience.

Prime location. To enjoy Solvang, all you have to do is "Step out of the hotel"! It is located in downtown. Walkable to every place you want to go. We were there for July 4th. The parade was just couple of minutes away by walk. The fireworks was 15 minutes away (walk). Rooms were updated. Had a lounge which was open till 10 or 11pm. Had a pool. Secure parking location for your vehicles. Everything else were just minutes away.

Out bathroom were really outdated, specifically the shower. Could've been better!

I was thinking of things to do for our upcoming first-year anniversary. The wifey, who is from Spain originally, told me she heard there is a little Dutch town called Solvang, and that she had been wanting to see it. Yahtzee! I found this hotel after looking through several of the available options on Booking.com, and I must say, we were not disappointed. I called ahead and asked if I could have a package of rose petals and little heart=shaped LED candles shipped there ahead of time and if there was any way someone there could arrange them nicely in the room somehow. By the time I was done asking, honestly, I wouldn't have been surprised if they said it wasn't something they could do. However, the young lady I spoke with was not only receptive to the idea, she was excited about helping, and most importantly, she did a great job! My wife was so surprised when we walked into the room. I loved seeing the big smile it brought to her face. It is a lovely hotel, in a great location, with excellent amenities and world class service. I would recommend this hotel, and the next time we are in Solvang, this is where we will be staying.

Pretty much everything was satisfactory. I had excellent experiences with the staff and other patrons. My room was clean, and the plumbing and air conditioning worked great, which is super important. Comfortable bedding, good TV. The lounge has a great feel, and the bartender was wonderful and recommended amazing drinks! The pool and jacuzzi were clean. The location was good for me - it's right at the entrance to Solvang, so a bit further than the hotels that are right there in the heart of the city, but I'm totally fine with a short walk to get to the main action. I stayed on a Friday, so it was pricey for a night, but I think the value was good considering how much I enjoyed my stay and other hotels are way more expensive or just as expensive for less quality. This is my favorite hotel I've stayed at in Solvang!

The shower head extends from the shower ceiling, which was an odd design to me. Not enough to deter me from staying again!

Came for the Wine Country Half Marathon. The location was great - we could walk to the race. I was a little surprised when there was no microwave in the room as indicated on the website, but the staff delivered one quickly upon request.

The only other complaint was that it was extremely noisy in the corridor outside our room when we were trying to get an early bedtime in order to run at 7am the next day :( The front desk also did not honor our request to check out an hour later so we could shower after the race.

The property was nice. We got a room facing the road which was great. It was nice seeing everyone walking and driving into Solvang. The room was nice. We had two queens which was comfortable for our family of 3.

In our room, one lamp didn’t work and it was the majority of the lights in the room. Our shower drain also did not work so that made bath time a little more difficult. As well, parking for vehicles that don’t meet the clearance is difficult. There should be more options for parking.

Location was nice, at the end of the village, which is all very walkable. The room was very clean, the staff was spectacular. The bartenders were exceptional, the small bites, especially the hummus and meatballs were delicious, and overall we had a very nice stay.

The room is quite simple, which is fine. It's clean and minimal. I would not call it luxury, but it was well appointed, comfortable, and had plenty of amenities as well as a fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker.

Vinland is a great hotel. They are very courteous and helpful. Many amenities including a keurig with coffee and tea, comfortable beds, a little patio balcony off our room, modernized place with happy hour in lounge. A short walk to all the attractions and goodies solvang has to offer. Everyone is friendly. I had a number to text for any questions or concerns, very convenient! All my interactions with staff were positive! Thank you Vinland! I'll be back!
