The property itself is gorgeous. Such a gorgeous place to relax in the sun and enjoy the beautiful surrounds of the Santa Barbara wine country. The rooms are beautifully curated and homely, and the breakfast was good.

The staff left a lot to be desired. They all looked completely miserable, don’t think we got a single smile or attempt at any engagement. The guy who checked us in told us not to buy anything from the gift shop because it’s a rip-off (referring to some cushions my friend wanted) it felt a bit like faulty towers on the staffing front. Despite my booking confirmation saying that check out was between 11am and 1pm, I was rudely kicked out of the room by a staff member at 11.30 - saying she would charge another $100 US per hour to the booking if we didn’t leave. I explained that my booking confirmation said between 11 and 1 for checkout, and she said it only if you pay more that you can have later than 11. This should be much much clearer on your booking confirmations.

This is maybe my 5th stay and I always wind up adding days because I so enjoy the gardens, the fire pits, the cozy outdoor spaces. It now feels like a second home, especially due to its location in a residential neighborhood!

It is challenging to not have even a simple assortment of muffins or complimentary instant oatmeal or an apple or banana for breakfast. I know now, and stop to get something the night before if I am staying in to work in the morning, but still. I would even BUY breakfast - like yogurt or protein drinks, if they were offered in the gift shop.

The deluxe room. Sweet little sitting area out front. Great bed/linens. The grounds are amazing. So comfortable and meticulously maintained. Love the bar across from the closet. This is the fourth time we’ve stayed here.

Wish they still had the simple breakfast they used to serve. Pastries fruit granola juice. Especially since there’s nothing walkable since you’re on a highway 2 miles from both Solvang + Santa Ynez.

The property was a surprise. Beautiful grounds and nice amenities. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Our room was beautifully appointed and comfortable. My only recommendation would be some form of food in the morning besides the coffee and tea offered. It could be as simple as yogurt, juice, pastries or fruit. Just a thought.

So very Magical!! the pool. the groove. the music. the pool! the shop. the staff...chi chi hippie..all super nespresso in room yes! ice machine!

however bed squeaked. metal frame. room 3 and had hot plastic mattress cover. AC so loud ! too close ..rooms need fan. slept with door open much better. and could hear toilet flush next door ..

Location is super convenient to several local towns - the property itself incredibly charming and beautifully designed; super comfy beds. The gardens are tranquil and thoughtfully laid out so you can have several groups each with private areas. Really nice aesthetic - and LOVE the hammocks!!

The staff on arrival (6:30 p.m. PT) was less than welcoming, but the staff at check out was perfection; not a great first impression but was salvaged by the check out team. The bulbs used in the "dimmable" bedside lamps were not dimmable, so the lighting was a significant challenge - LEDs flicker when installed in dimmable fixtures - ugh.

The bed is insanely comfortable! The property is beautiful; torches, fire pits, and all of the white lights are a lovely touch! The bar, retro fridge, and fireplace are fantastic, and we loved our little sitting area.

The breakfast wasn't great, the bathroom floor appeared dirty, and, at $500/night, you could certainly provide higher quality toilet paper . I was sad our white lights didn't work but the good far outweighed the bad!

Single level Hotel with a great interior based on Mexican influence. Very quite, but close to main road. There was a central fire pit with seating in the grounds, for outdoor entertainment (quite chat or beer)

I would have liked to have been next door to our daughter, but I did not request this unfortunately.

Lovely, peaceful setting even just off a local highway w/ easy (driving or biking) access to grocery, coffee shops, restaurants, etc.; terrific staff - friendly, helpful, welcoming; wonderful, spotless, comfortable room - great for sleeping, resting, relaxing. Wish I could have stayed longer!

Breakfast , hotel and room was great at this location! Loved that it wasn’t far from town or wineries, central to everything. Staff was great and the whole place was an aesthetic!

You can hear all the cars pass on the main highway. Beds were a little rough.
