Beautiful decor, wonderful outdoor and indoor common areas to sit, great location, free wine tasting at some wineries, clean and comfortable rooms that had nice amenities, and enjoyed the bar and restaurant. Food was delicious.

Wish you would allow a late check out that wasn’t $70 per hour.

It was clean and beautifully decorated The rooms were spacious and beds.very comfortable. We had dinner at the bar one evening and breakfast in the dining room the next morning and the food was delicious. The hotel was located within an area of restaurants and shops. Parking was provided in a small lot behind the hotel and also underground with easy access to the hotel.

There was no grab bars in the shower but we were told that there were plans to install them. A few hooks on the bathroom wall for hanging up towels would have reduced the need for fresh towels every day if staying for more than one night. And there didn’t seem to be a way to raise the sink stopper, although eventually the standing water did drain out.

The Landsby’s location is unbeatable, just steps away from Solvang’s charming shops, wine tasting rooms, and bakeries. The staff is incredibly welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay. Whether you’re visiting for a romantic getaway, a wine country escape, or just to relax, The Landsby offers an unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to return!as perfect!

We ate breakfast at the restaurant on site, Mad & Vin, and it was awesome. We had pancakes, bacon, potatoes, coffee, and veggie frittata; all were excellent and the service was great. The staff were amazing and very personable. We were able to get a room rather quickly. Everyone I talked to was very helpful with a great attitude.. I also loved the underground parking as parking goes very quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

The bed was a little hard for me personally but my friend had no issues she thought it was okay. The price was a little much for what it is but the room was very spacious. Wish the bar and restaurant would stay open later as everything else closes early. I would’ve loved to change into my comfy clothes and have a drink when we got back to our hotel at 11 from a longish, foggy drive from Santa Barbara to hangout and relax as it is a beautiful and comfortable property but it was closed.

Loved the room, modern touches, and that they are pet friendly. Great location in town. Also have a keurig in the room, which was clean, if you didn't want to walk across the street and go a few blocks for coffee when the restaurant was closed for breakfast.

The restaurant used to be better. Of course the duck fat fries were delicious, but the overall quality and taste was better when we visited the restaurant in 2021. Also, they are pet friendly but didn't really have a designated area for dogs to use the restroom. Would like to see a little patch of turf for dogs specifically.

A little hygge for a big hotel with a special touch! We only stayed one night, but will gladly come back for longer stays! Gretchen was particularly welcoming. While my husband found the parking garage under the property most convenient, I appreciated the beautifully decorated lobby, the locally curated items at the front desk boutique, and the spacious and quiet room we had. My mom’s room was all Scandinavian with wooden furnishings! Fitting for the Yul Fest Solvang had then. Also we were able to get a table at their restaurant. What a treat!

A note on expresso machine, and tea area in the room: it would greatly help to keep a kettle for tea making next to the expresso machine. No matter how many times we rinse the machine, the water still tastes like coffee.

The hotel was in a central location. We enjoyed the Happy Hour in the Restaurant. All other restaurants and wine tasting rooms were nearby so we just walked.

We stayed in a room on the first floor, on the west side of the property. It was not in the main building. It was a dark room with not much natural light coming in from the outside. Next time, we'll stay in an upper room with a balcony.

great design great service we enjoyed the common areas in the lobby, unfortunately raining the whole weekend so did not get to enjoy a nicely appointed outdoor patio hotel restaurant Mad & Vin convenient and reasonably good for brunch hotel bar lively with good draft beer options and great selection of house cocktails i liked that the hotel uses refillable shampoo/conditioner/body gel i liked having real glasses and not plastic to drink from

coffee maker in room was not working, hotel restaurant did not seem to open early for espresso drinks but the cafe across the street is excellent and opens early extremely limited room service menu (1 option which is charcuterie), no snack choices inside of room no bag porters or wheeled luggage carts could have used a more generous supply of towels since we prefer not to use housekeeping for short stays would have preferred filtered tap water vs the plastic bottled water the otherwise clean aesthetic was a bit ruined with several TVs positioned around the common areas no car charging on site but the Tesla supercharger in Buellton is a few miles away; that charging station is pretty bare bones though

The location and rooms were very good. The decor was quaint and soothing.

The rooms are not sound proof so I could hear children running up and down the hallway. We also could hear loud voices from adjacent rooms or guests above and below us. The cleaning staff carried Walky-talkies which were loud if you slept past 7:00 or 8:00 am.

The attention to detail at The Landsby is unmatched. Last time we came to Solvang, we saw this hotel and wanted to stay there next time. It was totally worth the hype -- coming back to this town and staying at The Landsby was a great choice. It has a great central location and the facilities are immaculate. The staff are friendly and Danish craftsmanship was evident everywhere. All of the rooms, building supports, and stairwells were well-crafted from wood and the establishment had a lot of class. If you stay here, you must eat at Mad & Vin, the on-site restaurant. We practically came to Solvang just to stay here and eat at the restaurant -- it's that good! There's coffee in the lobby in the morning and a bar, as well. As an extra touch, I loved that all the room keys were physical keys and had custom leather straps.

No continental breakfast, which would have been nice for the price point. We stayed on a weekday to avoid the high rates on the weekends.
